Feb 2016 early early days...

So BFP this am. Edd 30/1/16 however this is dc4 and the othe 3 have all been at least 2 weeks late.
Starting this thread to preserve my sanity next January. If I join the jan lot I'll be left on my tod so...I'm 35 this will be dc4 if all goes well, cycle 2 of trying so feeling blessed.

Thanks rafferty I thought so too but I'm sure he'll figure it out (fat tum here too - I was in pregnancy trousers at 10 weeks last time and don't think I'll last even that far this time!) and I feel bad lying to him, stupid hormones!

Will have to work on steering the conversation in other directions if he brings it up.

Hoping for a docs appointment tomorrow - no prebookables for 3 weeks so receptionist recommended I ring up for an emergency same day appt., stupid system!

wildflower, sounds like you've had an awful day. At least you're being seen again tomorrow, I really hope you have a better experience.

Hi ladies,
Can I tentatively join you? I'm technically 5+1 today by LMP, but I know when I ov'd so it's actually about 4+6 counting from then.

I'm tentative because I got my BFP at 11DPO, and had spotting up until 14.dpo. Bled bright red for about 2 hours at 17DPO and had cramp, but since then all has been fine, so I hope I am still pregnant. CB digi showed 2-3 weeks (correct for my dates) at 18dpo, and going to do another next week and hopefully see the 3+ so I know HCG is rising as normal.

We are debating getting an early private scan, because after the bleed waiting 12 weeks is ages to see if all is ok.

I have no symptoms at the moment, except being tired. But I'm a teacher and work is really full-on at the moment, so it could just be that. I'm not too worried about that though, as when I had DS I had no symptoms for ages, never got morning sickness, just sore boobs eventually.

Wildflower I hope your scan tomorrow shows all to be ok.

I am actually doing a mars a day at the moment. Only a funsize one, but still oops. And nothing to do with pregnancy cravings, it's to keep me going in the evening with the insane amount of marking that I have. Can't start until DS (16 months)is safely asleep and we've cooked and eaten, so I'm working really late all the time at the moment. Have just finished for the evening but this is earlier than usual.

Day 3 of feeling fabulous here, I was wishing the nausea would come back. I had been getting progressively worse up until Tuesday and have been getting better every day since then - I have a bad feeling about it. Nausea was a constant on my successful pregnancy. I also had terrible back cramps last night.

Let's see what the next little while brings. I'm still hoping to hold out for a private scan at 8 weeks unless I start bleeding in the meantime.

Welcome mars, congrats on your bfp. Just a word of warning, the CB digi's aren't a HCG test so if you don't get 3+ don't panic.

Brummie, the injections are easy-peasy, do not hurt (the key is to grab your belly fat and stick it right in quickly; no messing about), and become as much a boring ritual as cleaning one's teeth. Promise.

purdey good luck at the docs today. My boobs have been agony in the morning, especially when I wake up to go for a wee. Guess it's all part and parcel of the process!

Mega nausea this morning

My EPU won't scan me until 8 weeks. I'm actually quite glad as I had a very early scan previously (6+4) and expected to see more than we did so trying to wait it out for a couple of weeks.

Still need to book a midwife appt

Husband off to a stag this weekend and my best mate is coming to stay here. Yay! I would normally buy a lorry load of Prosecco for the occasion but going to have to find some baby-friendly alternatives.

Oh and I'm typing this post on the loo

purdey I'm due 30th jan according to the NHS but the jan group was full of loads of lovely people but they were getting their 12 week scans etc so I joined here. A couple of us are due end of jan I think. My LMP was 25th April so that makes me 5+6 today :)
