November 2015 ladies! Time to feel the glow!

Are you expecting a babe in November this year? If so, get ready to get glowing. Breaking out in spots, or tears, or both is part of the so called glow. Feeling sick, contemplating births and having the odd good day of eating well is also all glow.

Come on then. Wee in the corner to mark your spot. Have some Brew or Cake or Wine. Then glow.

I have the same as you focus, I am only 15 +2 today though so thought it would be too early for me to feel anything. It doesn't feel like all the other stretching feelings I have been getting though.

On a different note we move house tomorrow and I have had a very stressful weekend of packing! :-( ended up having a crying meltdown in the kitchen yesterday...pregnancy hormones! All packed now though. Anyone else guilty of making plans in their head but not articulating them? And then getting annoyed when they don't turn out how you thought or just me? Poor DP has had a hormonal crying angry mess on his hands all weekend.

cupcakesam84 · 31/05/2015 20:29

Stace, it's definitely not just you! I've found myself getting irritated by things that wouldn't normally bother me this weekend! Good luck with the move! We are still looking for somewhere, we both have our own flats at the minute, he's a bit too chilled about it though, I'm starting to panic a bit, I don't want to be moving at 8 months Shock!
It's lovely we are starting to get flutters of movement now! I'm 15+3 & had a mini odd feeling yesterday but I'm quite pudgy so I'm not sure it was anything to get excited about!
Has anyone else had extremely painful nipples? I ended up crying at southport pleasureland yesterday in front of dp's whole family!! Eekk!! X

stace1986 · 31/05/2015 20:39

Cupcakes glad I am not alone! :) I am glad we are moving early on, hoping tomorrow won't be too stressful. I haven't noticed painful nipples... yet. The joys of pregnancy!

BowiesJumper · 31/05/2015 21:36

I think I've been feeling flutters all week too. Very subtle though.

stace mine get painful if they're cold!

abbey I hope all is well with you. I'm sure it's nothing but let us know how you get on!

Welcome pinka!

I know it's a long way off, but I just found the loveliest thread about positive birth experiences and thought it might be helpful for anyone who may be worrying about giving birth. I'm going to bookmark it to read back through when I'm nearly due, along with dd's birth story. Its starting to feel like its really happening now!

annatha · 31/05/2015 22:00

It would help if I remembered to post the bloody link Grinhttp://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/2391693-All-the-positives-about-childbirth-up-to-and-including-meeting-dc-obviously?pg=2&order=

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 31/05/2015 22:23

Thanks Bowies I haven't had any more, just that one bit thankfully. I'll see what happens tomorrow but if that's it I'll probably wait until my scan, but if there's any more I'll go and get checked

Focusfocus · 01/06/2015 07:18

It's the fourth time in past couple weeks I've been up all night with aching legs and back. It's horrendous. Had baths at 3 am each time, followed by paracetamol. Nothing helps.

To top that, everything is pissing me off. My dad is visiting from halfway across the workd and said with a gleaming face "ooooh I think this baby is going to be super cute, all tall and chubby like his grandpa" and that pissed me off and I said "it's awful to say he will be like his grandpa, you won't even seen him more than once a year, he will take after his own dad". My dad looked confused snd I stormed off.

Wtf is this? Hormones?

Cupcake.. I can agree on the sore nipple situation.. just my right one though and agonisingly painful, like can't think of anything else painful, I decided I had slept on it funny (Is that even possible) and it does seem to have gone away now thankfully. I do hope childbirth wont be that painful Shock

My pregnancy hormones are mildly amusing at the moment, last night I was in hysterical tears at the 3 legged dog on Britain's got talent and when my husband asked what was wrong I just kept sobbing he brought her sausages.. you'll only understand if you've seen it but for me that's pretty irrational.

I'm loving hearing the stories of feeling babies move, I was convinced I felt something last week but at only 13 weeks and some days it was probably just wind Wink Shock but I just felt a very odd flutter after I'd been lying on my back for a while on the sofa and I went to turn over, something I'd never felt before. My baby was very active during the scan and certainly didn't like being moved around unless by choice, it looked to be preparing for the 2028 Olympics. I can't wait to know what were having so I can stop saying it!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/06/2015 12:33

Any cyclists about? I'm staying to find riding uncomfortable- feels like there is loads of pressure on my coccyx. Is it because I have a racing saddle? Maybe I'll get out my old hybrid and see how that feels. I'm nearly 17 weeks. Realistically with twins, I can't imagine I've got more than a few weeks left of safe cycling Sad

PooSweats84 · 01/06/2015 14:56

I've been getting sore hips in bed. I hardly slept last night as every time I dozed off, the hip I was laying on would start to hurt and I'd have to turn to the other one, and then repeat again on the other hip! I've had it for the past 3 or 4 nights now and in the mornings for the first few hours after I get up, my legs feel almost dead! Surely it'll only get worse the bigger I get too!

TakesTwoToTango · 01/06/2015 15:18

Poo sounds like PGP Hmm a mattress topper (memory foam if funds allow, otherwise a spare duvet underneath helps), plus a pillow between your knees to even up your hips can really help.

flyingsprocket · 01/06/2015 15:20

Hi guy I'm a mountain biker, I ride cross country so have a road saddle on my bike, I've the same on my road bike too but that hardly ever gets used! It's a women's specific Specialized ruby expert saddle, I can highly recommend Specialized, they have an "assometer" in their stores to make sure you're using the correct saddle for your sit bone width. I had issues with a previous saddle but now my lady bits are very comfy even after a long bumpy ride! I'm not riding as much as I was before but still doing about 4 hours a week. I'm not experiencing any discomfort (except in my less fit legs!) but did buy a larger pair of cycling shorts as the waistband was digging into my expanding tummy.

I had my early anomaly scan today, it was amazing to see all of the organs etc but baby had their legs crossed & the chord between them so we'll have to wait another 3 weeks to find out the sex. And the good news is my cervix is not deemed incompetent! Yay!

tootsroots · 01/06/2015 15:32

poo i have that and find walking tough now and then and my pelvic bones on my back feel ... unscrewed?
So told a reluctant GP last week how it is gradually getting worse and have a referral to the NHS physio... but was warned it could be months... uh... pregnant for only a few months.... :) so back to paying for private physio to help!

Try gentle pelvic tilts when you go to bed to ease the area?

Blueblink · 01/06/2015 15:45

Just needed to come and share .... I FEEL MOVEMENT!! I think something has been going on for the past week or so on and off but after reading through previous posts i'm convinced that its baby! So excited! Grin

TakesTwoToTango · 01/06/2015 15:46

Toots I hope you have more luck with your physio than I did with mine who sent me away with a few exercises that didn't help much and lots of advice not to do thing that are completely unavoidable to those of us in the real world! In my second pg I found a private osteopath a complete godsend. May be worth a try?

TakesTwoToTango · 01/06/2015 15:47

Ps congrats flying -greatness!

And yey for mini blueblink!

Lauramum23 · 01/06/2015 17:04

hi everyone, im just catching up with all the posts. been away at the weekend in the horrid rain! away again next week hoping for better weather tho!

15 weeks tomorrow! eeekkk. think I can also feel random movements too.

god im tired this afternoon! and hungry!

doomclaw · 01/06/2015 17:18

How fantastic for those feeling movements already.

On the hormone front I was crying with happiness on a busy train earlier today all because DH smiled at me and put his hand on my stomach. I felt like such an idiot!

Also I am tentatively hopeful about my quad test results as the appointment was last Wednesday morning and I haven't heard anything yet. Were some others having it last week too?

gennibugs · 01/06/2015 17:20

Woohoo to all those feeling movement. 15+6 here and nothing as yet. I'm very impatient. Woke up feeling very hungover today, very strange.
I am feeling very emotional today too, cried twice already on DH's shoulder poor thing Blush

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 01/06/2015 18:12

Great news on the scan flying

No more bleeding today, so fingers crossed that's ok now. My anomaly scan is next week so not too long to wait

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 01/06/2015 18:31

Phew Abbey. Probably reassuring that you've had the same in a previous pregnant but I know how spring it can be all the same. Hope you get reassurance very soon.

LadyStark · 01/06/2015 19:07

That's good news Abbey, it's very stressful this pregnancy lark.

We went to the Warner Bros Harry Potter tour today, it was great and would recommend for those with older children if you haven't been.

Annoyingly I have had a bit of lower abdomen pain since early afternoon though which is annoying me. I am hoping it's just trapped wind as it seems to move from left side to right side and comes and goes! Also looking forward to my next scan which is next Friday.

gennibugs · 01/06/2015 19:07

abbey - glad to hear that. Hopefully time flies to next weeks scan for you.

off out for dinner. I'd really rather be home watching TV in my pjs as I'm too nauseous to eat but theyre visiting from overseas so can't really cancel!

annatha · 01/06/2015 19:09

I had mine this morning doomclaw and an early GTT tomorrow. Need to eat something substantial before 9 but dd isn't letting me put her down.
