JS viroids are here in their 28th outing complete with exploding belly buttons. There's royal foofs and jiffy bag gifts, but most certainly NOT x-rated colouring books at the VAGINA party HQ!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 28th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 46th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

I think my 4am email gets the point across - I was expecting it to be spread ober the remainder of the term, so although still a £300 deduction, more manageable. I don't know if they will make the exception but I'm more pissed off that nobody thought to tell me that the deduction would be so high this month. It's not like work haven't been in contact Hmm my other worry is Mr tee only gets stat pay if he takes leave this month (June) so he's going to be super short on next payday too and tbh I could just do without the bloody worry.
This is not stopping from me going on a cream cake run this morning. In fact it's positively encouraged it.

Fattycow · 22/05/2015 07:38

Cake is the answer, tee! I hope they can sort this out for you, but in the mean time: eat cake! Cake

LaLaLaaaa · 22/05/2015 07:45

Caaaaaaake

jellypi3 · 22/05/2015 07:47

Just downloaded the £200 Argos vouchers you get with Emma's diary, I didn't realise it was small amounts taken off of products!

Also added myself to stats, hope that's ok?

Fattycow · 22/05/2015 08:05

Yes jelly, please add yourself and keep the entry up to date!

batfish · 22/05/2015 08:45

Yay for darker line jelly, I'm so pleased Smile Smile Smile

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 22/05/2015 09:08

Morning viriods, just caught up.

Hi jelly, lovely to see you on here.

Congratulations Rhiannon on the birth of your little boy. He's gorgeous and the pictures make me feel like I want one which is handy.

So... At 38+2 today I'm symptoms-of-labour spotting and also wondering if I can be bothered whether to try any of the stuff guaranteed to bring it on. I really wanted to have the baby this week as we have childcare for DS - next week is a bit hit and miss.

Symptoms, so far I have had:

Increased frequency braxton hicks
Backache that comes and goes
Upset stomach
Mega pressure in my pelvis

Not all at the same time, however. And I am exceptionally relieved that the last one seems to have eased today, even if it means I have to wait a bit longer.

So... what shall I try to get things moving. Have tried bouncing on the ball and - astoundingly - dtd. I thought there was no way in the world but Mr Before is er, both patient and creative. There I go, lowering the tone, sorry! Hasn't worked tho. Looking through all the old threads, I could still try pineapple, curries, evening primrose, walking (not easy on crutches)... anything else?

Got to get myself up as I'm actually leaving the house today. Oh, the excitement!

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 22/05/2015 09:12

La

Have just seen that we're both in Sussex. Don't be lonesome if there's a chance we could meet up (if you like, of course).

gaggiagirl · 22/05/2015 09:28

wil I was going to take little nut brown hare into work with me today and take his picture on an ambulance/fire engine/riot van but then I started worrying he might fall out of my handbag or get dirty or stolen or lost!!!!!! Aaaarrrrggghhh! Its in my bed. So of course today will be the day my bed combusts aaarrrrggghhhh!

tee a jiffy bag to payroll?

jelly did you print your goodie bag coupons off for Argos?

Purpleball · 22/05/2015 10:31

Last full day of holiday today Confused but we are taking 2 days to get home Smile

La I'm not sure I could control myself!

Tee that's an arse. Hope they sort it for you.

Before, Rhi hasn't had her baby yet Smile. Splodge and Mini did Smile

Ga, did you take it to work? Sounds like a fab idea. still doesn't understand what a class bear is

Purpleball · 22/05/2015 10:46

Ooops Tori had hers too Smile

Niffertiti · 22/05/2015 10:50

Before, my mum drank a bottle of castor oil when she was desperate to shift my enormous "little" brother. Not sure whether it was directly responsible for labour starting - it certainly got her bowels moving...

Class bear...? Oh god, is thus one of the things I'm going to have to feign enthusiasm for if I do manage to spring an infant?

Sorry I'm rubbish at replying to ppl, I mostly post from my phone and have a memory like a sieve.

Happy BH weekend everyone. I'm off to the lido to practice swimming for in case I do get enormously pregnant.

teejayem · 22/05/2015 10:51

before I'm 38 wks today - I've stopped the ball bounce because it aggravates the fuck out of my back, so I've decided walking hobbling around a shopping centre is a good idea. My mum is coming to get me in a minute so we'll see if that works.
Although I love curry, a friend of me pointed out that the upset tummy you may get before labour is a million times worse if it's curry infused. Also curry wind during pushing.... Ergh... prides self on fairy dust and rainbow glitter puff farts.
We're going for 'invoking the law of sod' for tomorrow and having a day out which is a good 1.5 hours from home/ hospital.
If think of anything else I'll let you know!

jellypi3 · 22/05/2015 11:00

ga not yet, I don't have a printer at home so will do it at work Tuesday :)

Purpleball · 22/05/2015 12:10

Tee I can't believe you're 38 weeks now! I had it in my head you're about 34 oops.
Hope you get things moving soon Grin

teejayem · 22/05/2015 12:30

Believe me purple I've been in denial the last few weeks, it's all gone into a bit of a blur! I lurch from denial (ooh, have ages yet! I can still do everything!) to desperation (Jesus Christ everything hurts so much please will this baby turn up NOW before I end up begging to be induced)
Work have actually been remarkably helpful and it turns out that our external payroll provider calculate mat leave pay differently to regular salary so my shortfall is because it started mid month. They're trying to get me an advance on next month, which is effectively 6 weeks pay rather than 4, but even if it's agreed I won't get it until next week. Ugh.
I'm about to go into primark. I could be some time. Grin

Purpleball · 22/05/2015 12:34

Yikes that doesn't sound right. Hope you get it sorted

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 22/05/2015 12:37

Ah, sorry, I meant to send congratulations to Tori not Rhiannon (yet). Sorry for the mix up!

Solidarity tee... I've just come back from a coffee morning where there was a 5-day-old, I can't believe that I'm going to have one of those soon.

jellypi3 · 22/05/2015 12:37

Your payroll thing sounds awfully confusing tee! Fingers crossed it's sorted soon.

So I totally forgot I signed up for a conception trial last year when they gave me my CBFM. I contacted them to tell them I got a BFP and they emailed back saying do I want to go in on 15th June for a 6 week scan (totally free). Erm...yeah!

ChatEnOeuf · 22/05/2015 12:51

Wow Jelly! That's fab :)

Tee I don't really understand that payroll stance, but I hope you can get a few extra pennies to plug the gap. Get waddling and invoke that LOS! You too Before - you both have to have your babies before I'll be ready!

We're yet to encounter a class bear, but at some point a few years ago we had to take that PG Tips monkey on holiday with us. It was actually a lot of fun posing him for photos (some of which were decent enough to go into his album).

La - labour physiology, positions, pain relief, endless breathing exercises, BFing, nappy contents and frequent toilet/biscuit breaks. At a guess :)

That's awesome jelly Smile

Feeling very sorry for myself today. Still in bed, just keep getting waves of nausea. Managed to force down some food and so far only retching so FX it stays down. Urgh time for another nap I think. I'll try and catch up when I'm feeling more with it

Fattycow · 22/05/2015 12:56

before and tee, twist those nipples!

Purpleball · 22/05/2015 13:07

^what she said, get twiddling those nipples Tee and Before Grin

Purpleball · 22/05/2015 13:08

Oooh Jelly that's fab. Try 7 weeks as you're more likely to see w heartbeat or need dildocam if you can push it another week

LaLaLaaaa · 22/05/2015 13:53

Wtaf?? Nipple twiddling??

I just ate massive lunch which is now sitting on top of my bump! Ugggggggg

Exciting stuff before and tee! Hope to see a new grads baby soon!! prepares pom poms
