Noticed we were getting a bit full in the last thread! Roll up, roll up for more scanning, puking, worrying and other distractions to take us through the first trimester!

chandlers and jebel your far flung adventures sound very exciting.

I don't seem to be able to join the fb group? afloat has added me but nothing has come up on fb. Do I need to do anything special?

Told everyone at work today and got some lovely reactions which was nice. Starting to feel very real now.

I just finished a horrible week of exams and feel so happy and free! I am going to eat lots of and sleep! Everyone has gone to the pub to get pissed and i'm not even jealous! Been dreaming about netflix and bed!

Great news guys! Baby is doing great! Was so glad I finally got to see him/her and heart beat was going strong! I have been pushed forward to 15th December but I was expecting this due to my periods being all over the place after stopping the depo injection!

Hi everyone! Lovely to hear of such happy scan news. Welcome newbies too

I met my midwife today, she seemed lovely. Gave me bounty shitpack and lots of forms, wee pots, and my notes. All starting to feel real despite lack of scan! Found out that when I have my scan I'll also be seeing the consultant to discuss my plan of action so feel happier. I still have an appointment with my London consultant so will match up plans and hopefully work out a plan I feel happy with.

Midwife was so nice though, although younger than me and no children which I admit did worry me a little but I know that's just me being super paranoid. Am just so anxious everything goes to plan this time. She even gave me dates got antenatal classes which I couldn't do last time as if given birth before they started! Hope I get to do it this time.

I hope me talking about what happened last time (premature birth) doesn't alarm anyone or make anyone feel uncomfortable, is it better if I don't talk about it do you think?

This evening, I am "so tired I could weep with gratitude that I am finally on the tube home". The most gigantic man is sat next to me. Bit squashed AND can smell beer. I may barf on my "home" platform.

Unfortunately we didn't get to hear the heartbeat florl but you could see it beating very fast. It was a big relief! I'm a bit disappointed that I've been put back a whole week to 11+3 but at least I know everything is okay and can tell everyone about it!

Congratulations to all those who have had good scans today! I had mine this morning and all good - 12+1 by scan and EDD moved forward to 10th December. Have told family and friends this afternoon and will tell work on Monday! All seems a bit more real now!

I'm confused about facebook now, do i need to be able to get an email, the account I have facebook set up with is really old and I can't get them anymore.

Babs I am more than happy for you to talk about your previous birth, I can hand on heart say that these ladies are awesome and have been such a support to me already. We're all in this together, through thick and thin! I'm not familiar with your story, have you shared it with us yet?

YAY it's the weekend! Though am not best pleased, after feeling pretty good all week, thinking I was out of the worst of the nausea, it has come back with a bang grrrrr. I have so much to do tonight to get ready for our weekend away but I think I'm going to have to leave it to the morning because I feel ROUGH.

chops it sucks doesn't it!! I had all these big plans to do my nails and tan tonight but it is just not going to happen. Also I had not long got home this evening and of course changed straight into my pjs when DH texted to say he needed picked up from his parents house, I couldn't face getting dressed again so I just went out in my onesie! At least now the in laws know I can get away with slobbiness and blame it on pregnancy may as well milk this pregnancy lark for all its worth!!
