Noticed we were getting a bit full in the last thread! Roll up, roll up for more scanning, puking, worrying and other distractions to take us through the first trimester!

Today is the 2nd day in a row I've woken up with a massive headache and I'm already having a bad day! It's making me dread my scan!

flor I live near Cambridge and have a London office so I just worked there yesterday - sounds like we were at the same place. The staff were lovely but I did feel quite inadequate!

FMC? the receptionist have such a sour pussed look on them. the actual medical staff are lovely. :)

I went to FMC for an early scan too. It was lovely. Some FB invitations sent but it's still lonely ol' me on the group! flor I PMed you.

I love reading all of these happy scan stories but it's making me so impatient for mine, I don't like being at the end of the month! Finally got my date, 15th June when I'll be 12+2.

Well done to absolutely everyone on their scans going well - I was going to name you all but didn't want to forget anyone, and they are coming thick and fast now! And another special shout-out to BabyFace as someone who really deserved some good news - fab stuff. Loving your positivity now!!

Abi I have definitely started getting more headaches, I remember them (not fondly) from the last time. A couple of paracetamol and a coffee usually sorts me out.

Chandlers, sounds like you have had some amazing travel opportunities while you're out there - I bet you'll miss them when you're back in the UK, even if you are looking forward to coming home!

I'm 11+3 with my first, due 15th December. I've got my first scan on Monday and I'm terrified of there being an issue.

Rudawakening I think even first timers with no history like me are terrified. It's also amazing to see the bean. FingeFingers crossed for you. Welcome to our little gang of chatterboxes.

Thank you florIxora I don't have history either, it's almost like I feel it was too easy but I'm trying to stay positive. Only 2 days left until my scan waited 8 weeks, 2 more days is nothing!

Please can I join you all? :) I've been lurking but didn't want to jump in until we had a positive scan.

Just had 12week scan this afternoon (2 this week in fact as baby wasn't in the right position for measurements on Weds!) and all is well, big relief after two miscarriages. I'm 30, first baby and my due date is now 3rd Dec

Good luck to all those still waiting for their first scan, it is not easy!

Chandlers yes, 2 more nights and then back to the sandpit. How lovely going to Koh Lanta, I've not been there but been to Krabi several times. Weather been fantastic last 2 days!
