Wow major catch up needed!
First of all, major congrats to BabyFaced . So happy for you.
Chops Today has been dire too. Now have aversion to the smell of beer. Had to hold my nose almost every time I went out on the street today. Same in tube. I looked like a weirdo hiding half my face with my scarf. Still not bloody effing Baby-on-board badge.
Chandlers Thank you for that majestic rant and for sharing the beauty of those thai pregnancy smocks. :)
So we had our Harmony test part 1 today - scan first, blood test after. Part 2 will be on 11th June.
I'm 10+3 today and as documented here this week has been trying symptoms-wise. But still when the sonographer put the scan head on my belly and I couldn't see anything for a very long 5-10 secs whilst she was looking around, I went into major panic mode that the bean had gone. And then tada there it is wriggling around like a mad thing! Thr sonographer even poked it around to get it to shift because she couldn't see its front.
The big moment for me today was hearing the heart, I teared up. It's the mostbeautiful music ever. It's real. There's really a baby in there!
Loads more wriggling and the results are: 2 arms, 2 legs, 35 mm in size and a lovely 155 beats per minute. Gestational age is 10.2/10.3 so spot on from last scan (10+2) and dates (10+3).
So here you go one healthy wriggly bean! (and one very nauseous, achy, crampy, blissful pregnant lady).
