Noticed we were getting a bit full in the last thread! Roll up, roll up for more scanning, puking, worrying and other distractions to take us through the first trimester!

Abi sorry your having a bad day, it's so hard with a Dc about. My DS just wants to climb all over me because that's what he's used to doing! When I stop him he sits next to me crying asking for mummy lap and mummy cuddle!

I'm having a rough day today, terrible head ache that's making me feel awful.

I've just done a little stats update - and clare, have carried on your good work with the EDD formatting and done the same with booking in and scan dates. We can all filter now to see who's coming up soon!

Looks like oceanlady is next with her 12 week scan at the end of the week, and then a lot of lucky ladies having their scan next Weds, Thurs or Friday (myself included!!). That's clare, needsomeinspiration, shiny, sparkle, babyfaced, cantthinkofaname87 and abi. How exciting!

Thanks everyone. sweets he'll be 2 and a half next month. The past couple of weeks his behaviour has completely changed. He's started kicking, biting and scratching me when I won't give him what he wants. He started nursery in January and they say he's a quiet, shy little boy so I have no idea where he's got his behaviour from!

Also, for stats my EDD is 10.12.15. Eeeek only 10 days until scan! I'm shitting myself and excited at the same time!

Ouch abi, you poor thing. I have nieces that age and they've started playing up a lot - I think at that age they start realising they have a mind of their own and can say 'no' to you. I'm sure it's just a horrid stage you have to go through, and he'll come out of it soon

Hi there . Hour you don't mind me crashing your thread . I've never used this site before but have been reading your posts . I'm 30 , 10 weeks with baby number 3 ,2 dd's age 7 and 8 . I'm due 11th December 15
I've been suffering terribly with sickness never ever been this bad . Ended up in hospital last week with low blood pressure and dehydration I needed to have a drip to get fluid into me as nothing stays down :( feeling sick n tired of being sick n tired now . Is anyone else experiencing this or have any advice ?? Thankyou x

Hello everyone. Can I join, please? After suddenly realising last week I might be pregnant (no AF, horrendously sore boobs) I did a test and was amazed to find out I actually was! We weren't trying! We thought about 4 weeks but I didn't know (periods irregular and life has been very stressful) so went for early scan today. 7+5 (give or take a few days)!!

Ha - whoever it was that said reading mumsnet threads made them feel even more sick - I've been exactly the same! Can't even browse baby stuff either!! Very weird.

Well, I have my 12 week scan this Friday - I can't believe it's come round so quickly. I'm hoping the reassurance will make all the symptoms easier to cope with. I've been trying to study for a work exam but it's difficult when sitting still indoors makes me feel worse!

I loooovve food so much, so I'm finding it so hard not to gorge myself every meal (cos then I feel like I'm full up to my throat - eww). There are some good websites that give meal suggestions for each trimester though. I feel a chicken and sweetcorn noodle soup coming on...

Hello all.

I am so behind I have given up trying to catch up.

Things have moved on a little for me. I seem to suffer less with exhaustion since yesterday and I did manage to walk the entire 10k yesterday evening.

Saturday morning was so bad... For about an hour whilst sat at the hair stylist I became convinced I was going to die of exhaustion, that in no way this was normal and I was surely not going to survive. Since this bizarre but short episode. I seem to feel better. More nauseous but less tired. I am still wating as though my one ambition in life was to become a sumo fighter... I am well on my way. even my "super fat day" dress doesn't fit well anymore. I am wearing it today and I just can't wait to tear the stupid thing off me.

I have my booking in a on Saturday morning. I wish they did a quick scan at the same time...

Can you chance my EDD to Dec 20th please? Ta. Should have 12 week scan date by end of this week!

Am feeling rotten again. It is 6pm here and I am in bed with a bowl of cereal. Shattered, super nauseous and headaches.

Oh dear, just let slip to two people at work, in 'strictest confidence'. I'm getting so bad at keeping this a secret, and so impatient to tell everyone!!

We still haven't told DH's family (have told the outlaws, but not his siblings etc. as we're waiting til we see them all next weekend after the 12 week scan). So I really shouldn't be telling anyone else. But it's quite hard to hide (latest blurting was due to work drinks being organised and I'm fed up of having to hide the fact that I'm not drinking, so I told the person doing the organising). And it's also so fun and exciting sharing the news with people.

I've never been the most patient person, but I'm really excelling myself here. Must... keep... self... under... control. DH would be furious if he knew I'd blurted it out!

Anyone else having issues controlling themselves and keeping the secret....?

sweets I've told quite a few people since our 10-week scan, though it still makes me kind of nervous talking about it with anyone other than DH and my parents... Can't wait to tell work, my boss probably thinks I've got some terrible illness the amount of doctors/hospital appointments I've had over the last two months!

Welcome wooz! What a great surprise for you! We have the same EDD (unless mine changes at early scan next week)
I have a cold! Feel dreadful! Usually dose myself up on lemsip but having lemon and ginger tea instead... Not quite the same! At least I have an excuse for feeling rubbish at work (to disguise my tiredness).
Glad some of your symptoms are subsiding and hope anyone feeling really in gets a bit better.

I'm 11 weeks this Friday, first trimester has been a roller coaster, I had a MC at 6 wks so had an early scan at 8wks & had a private scan @ 10 wks. I'm trying to not be or get anxious but it's much easier said than done! Booking app is tomorrow. Hope everyone is everyone is coping with all the first tri symptoms, ice lollies are saving me! :)

Hi firstrimer I am also anxious after having a chemical pg just before this one. It's a shame it takes the excitement out of it all but I just try to take one day at a time. Good luck for your booking in. Mine is on Thurs :-) ice lollies sound goooood! I have been having ice-cold caffeine-free diet coke!
