Been clumsy as hell today. Stapled my own finger and made it bleed and scolded my thumb from hot water. Sigh. Think I need to start today again!!

Hope all doing well and those with sickness feeling better
X

The difficulty I'm having with clothes this time is my scar. Hoping when I get a proper bump and not just podge under the scar it'll improve. Already in the big knickers for this reason!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 14/05/2015 18:29

I love seraphine but can't afford it! I'm feeling horrible in all my clothes. I've only gained 2lb bit I feel all flabby around my waist. Just fatter but no bump.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 14/05/2015 18:31

Great news on scans today. Not many left now! We should have a little party on here when all the 12 week scans are out the way.
Any news from StAlphon?

roughtyping · 14/05/2015 18:58

Eugh I am feeling maaaassively fat and flabby today! However I have my first pregnancy yoga class in about an hour, really looking forward to it. (It's in a special yoga studio, I've been nosey to see it for ages!)

Have a GP appointment on Monday as I've had horrible headaches for a week now, and back and hip pain is starting to become unbearable. Hoping to get it sorted! Drank sooo much water today, to try to help with headache, and then the skin on my hands started to crack and bleed. Oh the joys!!!

roughtyping · 14/05/2015 18:58

Oh and lovely scans!

StAlphonsosPancakeBreakfast · 14/05/2015 19:23

No results today unfortunately. Sad

And DP has to leave again tomorrow for the weekend (weekend with his daughter) so I'm going to be doing it solo. It feels like I'm carrying around a time bomb, not a baby.

At least it's marking time now, I can try to just work all weekend whatever the outcome.

SnozzberryPie · 14/05/2015 19:28

IMO eBay is the way forward with maternity clothes - most stuff is in good condition as it hasn't been worn for long, and you can generally sell iton on again for a similar price.

I am hoping that I have enough from my last pregnancy although I am annoyed as I will probably have to buy new bras as I never went back to my pre pregnancy size, so I am already wearing the biggest ones from last time!

flyingsprocket · 14/05/2015 19:29

That's so disappointing stalphonsus will they call you with the results? Is there a chance it'll be tomorrow?

I can't button the my jeans now but still no bump, just slightly rounder so I found some of my 'when I was heavier' clothes and they're so comfy!

In other news, I realised today that Stilton is not a cheese on the avoid list so am mainly having Stilton for dinner Grin

StAlphonsosPancakeBreakfast · 14/05/2015 20:07

I had the CVS on Monday and was told results would be in two to three days so I honestly don't know anymore.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 14/05/2015 20:11

Could it be that no news is good news?
Have you thought about each outcome and what it means to you? Big hugs. Uncertainty is bloody awful.

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 14/05/2015 20:12

Oh that's rubbish StAlphonsos I don't know what to say really but hoping you get the results soon as I imagine waiting must be really hard. Fingers crossed for tomorrow so you don't have the weekend to wait

Frescoed · 14/05/2015 20:31

Oh StAlph that's pants, waiting must be horrible, fingers crossed for news tomorrow.

I'm a bit behind, so congrats to everyone with lovely scan pics. Hope's your finger's ok Poppyninja, that's sounds like the kind of clumsy thing I'd do too....

All okay here physically (I think) though from my rising paranoia you'd not know it. Currently it's work and the gym keeping me from complete madness!

StAlphonsosPancakeBreakfast · 14/05/2015 21:04

Thanks, all. No, they ring absolutely as soon as they have the results so it's just a waiting game now.

Focusfocus · 14/05/2015 21:12

Thinking of you stalphonso.

My DH leaving tomorrow for ten days. I am the one who usually travels abroad for work, but this one time it's him that goes - I am petrified of air crashes. Seriously, I fly all the time, plus my family is in Asia so travel to them too. Now when it's him, I'm researching airlines and safety records.

Need to get a grip.

Isabella Oliver looks fab, thanks gobbolino, I've never heard of it before!

Lauramum23 · 14/05/2015 22:13

Stephalponso (spelling!) hoping for a good outcome for you xx

Jojo maman bebe do nice maternity too bit pricey but lovely.
I need some work trousers and tops!
I second ebay too although someone's pissed me about with a bundle I've bought recently so annoying!

As for scans mine is on Monday hallelujah! Just the last few of us now! I swear there has got to be something in there with how sick I keep feeling!!! Smile
Night everyone x

pennygirl26 · 14/05/2015 22:14

loving looking at all the scan and bump pics Grin is anyone else having back pain? this is my 1st pregnancy and im completely clueless as to whats normal. im having a stabbing pain on the lower right hand side and also pains in my hip. anyone else ?

cupcakesam84 · 14/05/2015 22:25

Huge puffy swollen feet & ankles are this weeks joys! Humph! X

BowiesJumper · 14/05/2015 23:39

Penny I've been having some back/hip pain but I was prone to it before pregnancy (sciatica type pain) when I was a lot heavier, but not had it badly since I've lost lots of weight. Until now! so I'm not sure if it's related or just bad luck!

I would usually take coedine and put some ibuprofen gel on it but obviously can't do that at the moment so I'm toughing it out for now!! It's getting better slowly, and sleeping with the pregnancy pillow is helping I think (just having something between my legs).

BowiesJumper · 14/05/2015 23:41

StAlph everything crossed for you. I hope you hear tomorrow!

TakesTwoToTango · 15/05/2015 01:21

Stalph, have you tried calling them? I was so anxious in my first pg that I gave in and called the hospital myself and sure enough my results were in, just they hadn't called me yet (I imagine it would have been done that day, just not quite by the time I called). Worth a try before submitting to a weekend waiting?

doomclaw · 15/05/2015 07:37

Thinking of you StAlph and hope you get some news soon

StAlphonsosPancakeBreakfast · 15/05/2015 07:43

Thanks, you're very kind. I left a message on their voicemail yesterday evening, so we'll see.

Hope you all have much more stress free days!Smile

roughtyping · 15/05/2015 07:54

stalph fingers crossed you hear today.

penny I've been getting bad lower back, hip, shoulder and neck pain along with headaches. Have been using deep freeze spray, cool patches, hot water bottles, microwave wheat bags etc to try and help! Have the GP on Monday though as it's very painful and I can't keep waking up like this. Went to prenatal yoga last night which helped a bit. I have underlying joint issues anyway though so knew it'd be bad, sadlh
