Chic I also had a harmony style test instead of the nt scan and bloods. We are holding off telling until the results come back. I was also told about 2 weeks is normal. It's been 5 days so far. It's going to be a long wait!

stickytoffeegirl · 11/05/2015 18:19

Just reading through this thread, are we supposed to have a 16 week midwife appointment? I'm 14+5 and the only appointment I have scheduled is my 20 week scan. First pregnancy so clueless about what appointments I should be having. I haven't actually met my midwife yet Hmm

mrscatmad31 · 11/05/2015 18:30

rang the doctors (see my midwife there) receptionist was clueless but midwife is booked up next week anyway and according to my booklet it's supposed to be at 15 weeks so only a week early. hoping I get to hear baby catmads heartbeat tomorrow Grin

ChicBabyP · 11/05/2015 18:37

Thanks TakesTwo. It's now 2 weeks so I'll wait a day or two before harassing them, can you tell I'm a little fed up of waiting?? I got the bill though, now that they managed to process real fast....Hmm

Gr33dyeggs · 11/05/2015 19:18

Yes Stickytoffeegirl. If you have green notes the minimum appointments are listed. Booking, dating scan, 16 weeks, anomaly scan, 25, 28 , 31, 34, 36, 38, 40

stickytoffeegirl · 11/05/2015 19:32

Thanks Gr33dyeggs

Should they schedule your next appointment in at each one? I've got her number so might give her a call. My dates got moved forward at my scan so not sure if that makes a difference?

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 11/05/2015 19:36

stickytoffee I think it varies, last pregnancy in London they were so busy I had to phone and phone to get appointments, at the time I thought that was how it worked. This time at a much quieter hospital I've got all my appointments up to 25 weeks through the post - much easier

Blueblink · 11/05/2015 19:44

Just got my full blood results back from last week! 1 in 66,000 very pleased with that!

cryingbabymess · 11/05/2015 19:59

Sticky toffee when I met my MW she told me what weeks I needed to see her and book it with her before I leaven

stickytoffeegirl · 11/05/2015 20:10

Thanks for all your advice, will try to sort this tomorrow!

cryingbabymess · 11/05/2015 20:30

Blueblink that's good you've got your blood results back! I'm waiting for mine! It all gets sent to Edinburgh apparently.

NoMoreSashimi · 11/05/2015 21:56

Crying, mine came from Edinburgh as well, took 2 weeks 2 days. The letter only had two lines, saying I was low risk. No data, no probability. Seems to be different in Scotland.

Poppyninja · 11/05/2015 23:23

Got mine too, low risk, 1 in 8600 which I'm happy with. Took a week for letter to arrive

NorfolkEnchance · 12/05/2015 00:05

Congratulations LadyStark, what fabulous news.

Got my blood results back, 1 in 49000 so pleased with that.

Got sent for a 2nd blood test as they suspect I am anaemic, was anaemic for my last pregnancy and still when I gave blood 4 months ago so I think I'll be on the tablets again :(

Booked a gender scan for 28th May, although the DNA blood test told us we are having a girl I still want to double check! Plus I like to see the baby.
We have already decided on a name but we aren't telling anyone this time as I got really pissed off with people saying they didn't like our choice last time. I'm still angry about it now!

TakesTwoToTango · 12/05/2015 02:50

Thanks Norfolk and congrats on the good results.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 12/05/2015 05:49

Whenever anyone updates the stats, would you mind changing my due date? It's now the 11th.
Is everyone on the stats list still with us? A few names I don't recognise as regular posters. If you're lurking, I hope you're all ok.

roughtyping · 12/05/2015 07:35

I'm not feeling very 'pregnant' anymore Sad please say this is normal? 15 weeks today. I'm just fat. Thought id felt baby wriggling about but havent felt it for a couple of days.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 12/05/2015 07:50

Gosh Guy how amazing to see them both. Can we see a picture?

It's finally scan day for me. I am terrified...

PooSweats84 · 12/05/2015 08:17

Is anyone else wondering how they're not bald with the amount of hair being lost in the bath/shower?! It's rather frightening!

Karmanna13 · 12/05/2015 09:11

Hope everyone's having a good week so far. Public holiday over here on Thursday so will get Thursday and Friday off, can't wait, I am exhausted!

Yesterday in the bath I could see my bump moving. It was like little hiccups but very regular and they didn't stop so not sure what it was. I couldn't feel them but both DH and I could clearly see them. It's too early to be baby, isn't it? I'm 12+4.

StAlphonsosPancakeBreakfast · 12/05/2015 10:06

roughtyping very common in the second trimester from what I hear - also I feel only a tiny % of as crap as I did, and can confirm I had one wavy baby doing handstands in there at my scan yesterday.

We are supposed to glow, so let's glow through the second trimester, dammit! Grin

gennibugs · 12/05/2015 10:37

Hello all, any room for a latecomer? I'm 13+6 today and finally feeling brave enough to join a proper group after our most recent scan last week. This will be my first baby and my due date is 11 November.

I too am waiting for the second trimester glow and to have a bump rather than just podge! Grin

Dixiebell · 12/05/2015 10:44

karmanna,it's baby #2 for you isn't it? Did you have diastasis recti the first time (separated tummy muscles)? I did and can sometimes see wriggling in my tummy which I think is (sorry TMI) food being digested! Because not protected by the usual layer of muscles. I'd think it was too early to see baby moving, they're so tiny, although I do think I've been feeling movements for a couple of weeks and I'm only 12 wks. But certainly before been at least 16 wks.

TwoBeesInTheHive · 12/05/2015 10:52

SCAN DAY!!!!!!!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
First time we will see baby so I'm ridiculously excited. who else was today? wishing you all lovely wriggly babies Grin
