Thank you mama! Smile Crying is fine as it doesn't confuse things! Lol.

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 09/05/2015 10:24

Please could someone edit me? I'm now aged 34, EDD 29/10 (was Ann bag on November 1st but have name changed) thanks so much, can't work out how to do it on the tablet

Gr33dyeggs · 09/05/2015 11:37

I'm exhausted today. I just want to sleep! I'm hoping it's the back end of my cold and nothing new starting. At 15+2 I thought I'd start feeling better not worse! Have warned ds I'm not up to much.

cupcakesam84 · 09/05/2015 13:43

Hi everyone! Had my 12 week scan yesterday! Iron levels good, bloods & urine all clear, nuchal marker 1.5 so that's good too! The only thing is I'm rhesus negative so have to have an injection! I was a smoker before but my carbon monoxide was 0.8, which is like a non smoker so I was pleased as punch about that!! GrinGrinGrin Hope everyone else is good xx

cupcakesam84 · 09/05/2015 13:44

Ps: due date is now 20th November! Please can someone add me to the list? Xx

Unthoughtknown · 09/05/2015 13:50

Afternoon. How is everyone feeling today? I am 13+1 absolutely knackered. The house is a tip and is staying that way for now. By my calculations the 2nd trimester begins on Monday so the glow should be starting then?

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 09/05/2015 17:11

I'm getting better slowly and getting a small bump. Wondering how long I can hold off announcing for (I'm 15+2) although part of me is curious to see how big I can get before anyone says anything!

LadyStark · 09/05/2015 17:14

Thanks for all the reassurance about suddenly not feeling very pregnant, pleased to hear it is normal.

Exciting weekend for me, DP proposed to me! Grin

DH and I are in Spain where we had massive food poisoning last night. Puked all night, been on rehydration fluids and water all day today, puking stopped in the morning but body aches and chills all round.

So very very scared about baby. Am 14+4 :(

Anyone has good vibes to spare for the munchkin in the making please send them to a very poorly focusfocus...

Thanks everyone.

Focus - you poor thing, that sounds horrid. Try not to worry too much about baby, our bodies are very clever at protecting the baby and it sounds like you're doing all the right things. I hope you are both on the mend soon Flowers

StAlphonsosPancakeBreakfast · 09/05/2015 20:59

Oh Focus that sounds horrible, but the baby will be fine, they are incredibly efficient parasites: you will probably feel extra shit, but they will be merrily sucking you dry of all nutrition. Grin But it's awful, what a horrible thing to happen. Hang in there and hope the worst of it is over.

Massive congrats LadyStark, that is really lovely news to hear.

AbbeyRoadCrossing · 09/05/2015 21:08

Ah that's rubbish Focus just try and keep the fluids up even if it's tiny little sips. As others have said babies can be amazingly tough and will get what they need. When I was in hospital pregnant with DS they wouldn't let me eat for days in case they had to do an emcs, so I was on the fluid stuff. Not quite the same but he was fine...I was starving though!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 09/05/2015 21:23

focus baby will be fine. You will feel like shit but your body will make sure that baby is ok.

SnozzberryPie · 09/05/2015 23:35

Congrats lady!

Focus I had norovirus for a week when I was pregnant with dd. I couldn't keep anything down and felt like I was going to die. the dr said that the baby would not be affected but that I would feel worse than normal as the baby takes priority for all the nutrients in your body. Dd was fine!
