Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 26th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Some excellent replies from the JSing crew. Much love to the viroids x x

WilHarlot · 19/04/2015 13:38

You're right Tee, we're far nicer than the average mumsnetter Wink .

DulcetMoans · 19/04/2015 14:08

What a cheek! Prissy bitches, they must have heard worse in real life.

What's mint cordial tee? Drinkable mint? Not sure how I feel about that...

Purpleball · 19/04/2015 14:44

I couldn't resist sticking my oar in. Seriously though if you don't like it, hide it and if you're now lurking...jog on

Jcandy · 19/04/2015 14:58

Haha well you can't please everyone I guess! She'll probably make more of an effort to ignore it in the future.

My mum insisted on us going to look at prams Smile she's decided she wants to buy us a silver cross pram and pushchair Smile my dad just has to go along with these things I'm feeling really lucky coz it would have been way out of my price range!

Purpleball · 19/04/2015 15:06

JCandy we are going for the silver cross pioneer in chilli red.

There is an outlet shop in Bradford that sells slight seconds, they also sell them on eBay. They are an authorised stockist.

A slightly scuffed (just the frame) Pioneer is £200 cheaper from them. I figure it will be scuffed within a week of dragging it in and out of the house.
They also sell ones with damaged boxes for £100 cheaper, the pram itself is perfect.

It's worth a look at their website/eBay page. I went in the shop and had a chat with them. I'm going back a month before we need one and if he doesn't have what we want, he will take our details and phone when it comes in

WilHarlot · 19/04/2015 16:13

I love you a little bit Dulcet for your response on that thread.

Good news on parent pram buying. That's how I ended up with an icandy too.

LaLaLaaaa · 19/04/2015 16:44

I love how she points out how much how much time it takes to be creative and think up the titles!

It's really hard! Then fitting it into a sentence!

I'd like to point out they might find the filling da Fred posts more offensive.

Cuntflaps

Jcandy · 19/04/2015 16:48

Yeah purple that's the one she liked Smile I'll look out for that.
Yeah they are great aren't they wil. My mum says I can't tell my dad the price yet though. She needs to work on him first!

Hobbit19 · 19/04/2015 17:04

Sniggered at that La!

Just been for cuddles with my friend's newborn, she is gorgeous and just slept on my being adorable for ages. I was concentrating really hard trying to link the idea of a little baby in my arms and the poppy seed in my womble... but my brain just wouldn't do it! Really weird. Perhaps it doesn't help that I am visualising an actual poppy seed in my womb, not a mini baby.

Purpleball · 19/04/2015 17:08

Pud I still do that now, the flickering that I get in my womble could be anything and the scans were just made up!

DulcetMoans · 19/04/2015 17:12

You should love me anyway wil! Wink

I should let it go now, shouldn't I? But I am finding it hard as it feels a bit personal and unnecessary! And how many threads end up rolling out the clique argument?! This place is full of them but it's just groups of people with common interests, not a bad thing. We have new joiners all the time - pixie wasn't on JSer TTC thread but we still talk to her! Lol. It's not an exclusive group, it just is what it is.

Sounds like a good afternoon pud! Did you chat babies? Not sure when you start to think of it as a person. I still can't imagine mine being here!

DH just looked up and said he doesn't hate the name Alexander (Alex). Out of the blue, first time he seriously discussed names. Ok too in shock to know what I think!

Purpleball · 19/04/2015 17:23

I like Alexander and Alex Smile

We've currently got Annabel and Harrison. I love Annabel but can I name a baby after a doll?

LaLaLaaaa · 19/04/2015 17:36

I'm afraid I just got annoyed at someone for being rude to jelly. Couldn't help it...

Fleurchamp · 19/04/2015 17:41

Hi all!

I can't believe that thread to moan about the JS thread title. Some people need to get over themselves!

Another busy day, I'm utterly exhausted and DH is driving me mad. Stupid things like he keeps sniffing rather than blowing his nose and rather than reading online about the cot etc I like he keeps asking me stupid bloody questions Angry

WilHarlot · 19/04/2015 17:50

Do men have opinions on cots generally Fleur?

Ooh La I thought that thread would have died a death by now, are they still having a go? Will go and check it out. We should copy and paste the fill up da fred comments from the last ten threads and spam them Grin .

Ah I do Dulcet, I do Grin .

WilHarlot · 19/04/2015 17:51

Oh and I Iike Alexander too. Pretty popular up here but I imagine less so in England.

PixieChops · 19/04/2015 17:57

Think we are upgrading to an ICandy Peach Blossom 3. It's awesome and fits 2 kids one behind the other. Don't know how people cope with those large double buggies, I can barely get around with the single Stokke we've got at the moment especially when I'm trying to find clothes (usually declaring loudly that I'm far too fat to fit in anything and why does RI not do any maternity wear so I end up looking like a frump in leggings and endless stripy tops!)
Need to check out that Fred about how offended everyone is. Think I'll stick my two pence I. But guessing it'll just be along the lines of 2 words "oh fuckoff" springs to mind!
Sorry to hear about your car crash wil.glad you're all safe. As an experienced crasher inner I can definitely say it'll be you that's at fault unfortunately. Thankfully I'm a lot better at driving since having kids but in the past I've been known to have had quite a few bump. My stepdad put his foot down last year and helped me by a new car as mine looked like something out of a banger race. It was absolutely fucked and what's worse was that it was pretty much brand new when Id got it 5 years previously. There wasn't one panel (including the roof) that wasn't damaged. I paid 5k for it and got £400 as part exchange.
Tee hope you're feeling better soon, think if your heartburn is really bad you can get tablets prescribed by the doctor so that might be something to look into.

Fleurchamp · 19/04/2015 18:10

wil my DH has an opinion on everything.

He is going away for work tomorrow and has left me 2 full pages of A4 instructions for our builders. They were supposed to be done before he went away, so now he has the perfect excuse to hide behind me and get me to be the bad guy. Huge sigh.

teejayem · 19/04/2015 18:24

My bump is pulsating!!!! what. the. fuck.

It's not like hiccups, it's not my pulse and it's not the baby's heartbeat (checked with the stethoscope round mum's). And it's right at the top of the bump where I had all the pain last night. I bet the little monkey isn't head fucking down anymore! Mr Tee got me a yoga ball which smells like a giant condom so i've had a bounce on that.. quite comfy!

That whole thread has massively backfired on the OP and jolly good too. There ARE threads on here that make me sick, usually the ones which are completely self serving/stealth boasting about wealth, how terrible it is that your £2million mansion is depreciating because your landscapers messed up the herbaceous rock garden, and you now have to pay your au pair minimum wage. The threads that frivolously throw the word cunt about however, I quite like.

Fleurchamp · 19/04/2015 18:47

I've had that tee god knows what it was but I haven't had it since. Very unnerving!

LaLaLaaaa · 19/04/2015 18:58

Alex is lovely name - would've been on our list but it's my cousins name. Very popular in Scotland. Love it!

Am delighted, just sold body protector so another £80 for baby fund. Also just bought ex display maxi cosi cabriofix car seat for £90. Car seat expert at halfords checked it over for me for signs that it's been bashed or dropped and it's perfect condition. Hooray! Will go back with my Autoglass voucher next week to get the familyfix base.

Baby show was crowded, lots of very mardy people so it wasn't as fun as I'd hoped. The stands were mostly independent businesses so it was quite expensive. Got infant insert for ego carrier for a tenner though, which is good value.

Saw my friend and her wee boy though which was lovely! He's turned from a nightmare baby who cried constantly for a year (my poor cm friend had a terrible time and has no support at all down here) to a lovely happy little boy who is gorgeous! So for any of you new mums tearing their hair out - things can change!!! :)

She gave me an ikea bag full of nappies sized 0-4. Woohoo! Love her.

Does anyone have the 2014 uppababy vista? We put ours in loft in box and forgot to check if the car seat connectors came with it. Does anyone know?

Ooh JC the silvercross is lovely, lucky you!

Pud and purple - 20 week scan is when shit got real for me! Proper looking baby!

Purple Harrison was on our list too until my bro said that's what he will name his if it's a DS.

Tee mine does that! It's bizarre. Did it down the bottom of bump one day and my fanjo was pulsing Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 19/04/2015 19:00

No idea why phone decided my poor friend was a 'cm friend'

That's a bit weird!

She's definitely just a normal friend...nothing to do with cm!

Toast85 · 19/04/2015 19:18

la we went researching prams today and the uppababy vista was our fave. I assume it was 2015 model, in John Lewis, it did come with car seat adaptors.

LaLaLaaaa · 19/04/2015 19:21

Unfortunately yes toast it'll be 2015. They don't sell 2014 anymore in most places. Or the connectors it would seem!
