Come put your feet up in the Zen den and let the dh's wait on us hand and foot whilst we nurture the fruit of their loins in our bellies :-)

oh dojo the smell of sausages are the worst when you're queasy!

chops like the others have said, nausea, sore boobs etc all symptoms will come and go. I know it's so hard not to worry - I'm still poas!! x

congrats *purple!

Mummyofonesofar · 04/05/2015 09:18

I poas yesterday and got 2-3 weeks of CB digital. And I burped and tasted sick yesterday after dinner and now have a really sore throat, then I had a bunch of weird dreams last night one being that I wanted throat soothers but couldn't buy them because they had 700mg of caffeine in them! Confused

Mummyofonesofar · 04/05/2015 09:19

Oh and purple yes!! 2 Christmases where I don't have to fight for the annual leave! But we will all be whales at Christmas time Grin

chopsface · 04/05/2015 10:04

coffee woke up feeling really sick again! just in time for our holiday tomorrow

I'm due just before Xmas so yes no fighting over annual leave arrangements! When I tell my folks Xmas dinner has got to come into it! Last year I cooked dinner for them so my mum was saying I'd have to cook for the in laws this year. I'm going to tell her I'm not cooking dinner for anyone this year I'll be pushing out their 3rd grandchild! It will have to wait until we get back from Hol to tell my folks though. We go tomorrow and they come back from their 2 weeks away tomorrow! We are gonna have to tell them face to face so I can see their expression! Think they'd given up on us having kids to be honest.

Have a nice chillout day ladies. Me and dh are watching homes under the hammer in bed with breakfast :-)

chops sorry the sickness is back, but you did ask for it! In seriousness, I hope you feel ok for your holiday!

I cooked for the inlaws last year and was hoping to go down south to my dads for Christmas, but think that would be a bit tight!

chopsface · 04/05/2015 12:09

Yes mummy I know I asked for it! I just want to be ok for the flight tomorrow, that's all I ask.

Chops hope you feel better for tomorrow. I felt pretty grim this morning, but I forced myself to eat and am feeling much better. I'm sure you've told us, but where are you going again?

dojo123 · 04/05/2015 12:50

Feeling really nauseous today. Just had two cheese sandwiches as that was all I fancied.
It was the tinned tomatoes in the sausage stew that turned my stomach but I don't think I can face red meat or garlic either.

chops sorry you're feeling sick again and hope you have a lovely holiday tomorrow.

chopsface · 04/05/2015 13:10

I'm going to Malta girls. 25degrees on Wednesday!

Just had beans on toast for lunch. Scraped the beans n sausage combo off and just ate the bread. Drinking makes me feel sick too, my pee is far too yellow :-(

Hope you all feel better soon too x

mummy didn't even think about missing two Christmases - our office is closed over Xmas anyway so not a problem.
chops hope you have a nice relaxing time.
Went to Primark earlier and got a weeks worth of clothes for my holiday and a few other bits for £65.
I peed on some more sticks this morning and the lines were darker phew, thought I might of imagined yesterday.
I have been taking 50mg of b6 not sure if I should stop now and maybe just take the seven seas pills they have 1.4mg in them or carry on just until 12 weeks?. I will check with the Dr tomorrow, but wondered what you guys think?

Mummyofonesofar · 05/05/2015 10:20

Purple we were going to avoid TTC last month as thought a Christmas baby would be difficult every year present wise but decided to keep at it incase that was our month - and it was! So I hadn't thought about the benefit of 2 Christmas periods off. Also DP's work shuts down for 2 weeks at Christmas so he will have that and then 2 weeks paternity with us which will be lovely.

Mummyofonesofar · 05/05/2015 11:20

I am so tired today, my eyes are hot, my glands are swollen - please don't let me be getting a cold, I feel so tired already.

I just want to go and have a nap but I have got the Dentist at 5 then DS's swimming lesson at 6.30 tonight. I could go to bed right now and stay there all day.

dojo123 · 05/05/2015 12:05

Sorry you're feeling rubbish mummy if you can get a nap, I would take it or even if it's resting your eyes for and hr.
I have to wait for my DH to finish work this evening before I can head home and at the mo he's not finishing until 7:30/7:45. I'm exhausted by the time we get home.

Trying to decide what to have for lunch now I'm hungry. Egg and cress on granary or jacket with cheese and salad...

Mummyofonesofar · 05/05/2015 12:52

dojo that is rubbish about DH being your lift home! Do you hang about at work racking up your flexi? What did you go for? I would have had the jacket. I work in a hospital and just had chicken casserole and chips.

dojo123 · 05/05/2015 12:56

mummy I run my own company so there is always work to be getting on with. If I worked from home I would get distracted by home stuff so I am glad I have a studio.
I could always drive home and come back in to pick him up later but it's a 20min drive each way so it's generally not worth it.

Went for egg and cress in the end as I had cheese yesterday. Feeling a little more with it.

Mummyofonesofar · 05/05/2015 13:12

dojo Oh right I see, doesn't sound worth the trip if you're kept busy you may as well stay! Sorry if I missed this before - do you have a business partner to take over while you are on mat leave or is it going to be a struggle for you?

dojo123 · 05/05/2015 13:19

mummy no business partner and my colleague is 24wks!!! I am worried about how it will work but hoping my current projects will all be completed by mid Nov and that any bits that aren't I can delay by 4months. It's going to be difficult but I didn't want to put off trying for children until later.

Mummyofonesofar · 05/05/2015 13:22

Wow! At least you can kick off projects when you feel ready to do so again. Will it limit how much time you can have off once the baby is here or will you just work from home a bit more to balance childcare? Tell me to shut up if I am being nosey!

dojo123 · 05/05/2015 13:49

No it's fine. I'm hoping I can work from home some of the time also there are possibly plans in place for me to join forces with my old boss again and working from a new studio which will hopefully give me more space and I can set up a space for the baby to sleep when I'm at work. It's all theory at the moment but could work.

Mummyofonesofar · 05/05/2015 13:59

That would work really well, and save alot in childcare!!

dojo123 · 05/05/2015 17:15

Ok. A bit of tmi but I've just been to the loo and had a lot of cm when I wiped. No blood but it was similar to the cm I had when I ov'd. Do you think this is my vag having a clear out after the thrush last week or do you think this could be the start of something more sinister. The fact I haven't seen any blood I'm taking as a good sign but I'm still having a little bit of a wobble.

Giddymamma · 05/05/2015 18:10

Lovely dojo, don't panic! I am sure if is just cm you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I'm guessing, but I wouldn't worry?!

wotsits1 · 05/05/2015 18:37

dojo I had weird cm throughout my first pregnancy. Kept pestering the midwife whenever I saw her but she said that you get lots as your vagina is constantly trying to flush out infections. Can imagine if you've had thrush your cm would be on overload!

dojo123 · 05/05/2015 20:50

Getting a few twinges on my lower left hand side and my cm had a little browny hue when I just wiped. I have messages my midwife just in case but I think you're both right. I'll let you know if things change.

wotsits1 · 05/05/2015 21:29

The twinges will be just your uterus stretching. Try not to worry!
