Come put your feet up in the Zen den and let the dh's wait on us hand and foot whilst we nurture the fruit of their loins in our bellies :-)

dojo hopefully it's nothing to worry about, but as this is all new to me I have no idea what to expect.
mummy maybe we can meet up sometime if you are planning on coming down this way.
Went to the drs today, I was already going for something else otherwise I would have waited a bit longer. He just said test again in a few days then pick up the info from reception to arrange things with the mw.

dojo123 · 05/05/2015 22:55

Well I'm off to bed hoping this is all nothing. Thank you for your advice and support. We moan when we don't have any symptoms and then when something out of the ordinary happens we wish it wasn't or don't understand it fully.

coffeenut · 06/05/2015 01:45

dojo I hope all is well. I'm sure it's nothing but extra cm - I had all sorts of odd cm when I was preg last time (included green tinged - lovely!). And twinges are also normal in healthy pregnancies.

Mummyofonesofar · 06/05/2015 07:10

Purple a MN meet up would be great! Wonder why your Dr didn't give you the mw details straight away, odd!

dojo my cm has been very wet in the last week and I had lots of growing twinges at the weekend.

New symptom! Dizziness - I have to be so careful not to stand up too fast or I get very dizzy.

wotsits1 · 06/05/2015 07:17

I'm getting lots of twinges. Keep googling which is dangerous. They're kind of on my right or left side and happen if I cough or move too quickly too. If I'm sat still I'm usually fine. Normal?

dojo123 · 06/05/2015 07:55

Morning. Feeling better this morning no weird cm so far so my mind is more at ease. Twinges are there but not so bad. wotsit mind too are worse when I cough or sneeze.

wotsits1 · 06/05/2015 07:57

Pregnancy is just one big worry, isn't it!

Mummyofonesofar · 06/05/2015 08:17

I am a poll clerk for the election tomorrow - the realisation has justs hit me that I have to be there by 6.30 and the station doesn't close until 10, then I have to clear up and drive home. I am going to be like a zombie!!!

coffeenut · 06/05/2015 08:22

yep!

dojo glad you are feeling better x

coffeenut · 06/05/2015 08:23

(sorry"yep" was for wotsits! poor you mummy that sounds like hard work Sad)

HeirToTheIronThrone · 06/05/2015 08:32

12 weeks today and my body has rewarded me with my first stretch mark Shock I knew all those crisps would come back and haunt me!!

Mummyofonesofar · 06/05/2015 08:55

Heir are you showing already?

coffee It will be hard work - I don't mind doing it normally - You get paid for not doing very much but I think it will kill me! And I am so hungry at the moment, I am not sure how much food to take to survive!

Mummyofonesofar · 06/05/2015 08:57

And for stretch marks I would recommend Bio-Oil, I am really prone to them and have loads on my bum and thighs from puberty but I used it with DS' pregnancy and I only got a few small ones at the bottom of my tummy and can get away with wearing bikini still.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 06/05/2015 13:16

Hmm. Well I have a little belly but I question how much is 'showing' and how much is 'all the carbs'... It is hard in the evenings though so I think a little bit must be bump! I bought bio oil at the weekend so will persevere with that.

Giddymamma · 06/05/2015 17:41

If I sneeze my whole uterus seems to spasm!! I found bio oil too slippery and the texture made me feel queasy! Lots of moisturiser instead. I didn't get marks on my tummy, but all overthighs and bum, so dont forget to moisturise / oil there too! All faded now, happily!

Also went swimming last night for first time in aaaages. Loved it. Got to think happy thoughts about little bean instead of thinking just about ds, work, house work, what we need to get for tea.... Will try and go more often.

Mummyofonesofar · 06/05/2015 17:56

I felt very fat as the afternoon went on. I have no bump when lying on my back but a round bit under my belly button when standing up. I tend my always hold my belly in (something I never forgot from dancing when younger) and if I make a conscious effort to let my gut out I get a round shape from under my bra right around.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 06/05/2015 18:29

mummy I'm a poll clerk tomorrow too, don't normally do it but I work for a council and we have three elections this year so needed extra people. The thought of sitting in a polling station for hours on end doesn't appeal to me at all, but I can put the cash away for baby things Smile. I've got a stash of decaf tea bags to take with me plus loads of snacks and magazines.
heir 12 weeks already, have you had any scans yet.
I'm only about four weeks according to the NHS website so not really had any symptoms yet, just sore boobs and I have cleveage for the first time in my life. I have ordered some sickness bands so that I'm ready. Maybe a bit tired, but work has been busy so could just be that.
I went on the count down to pregancy site it gives you all significant dates apparently I will need to start wearing Mat wear from the end of July!!!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 06/05/2015 20:18

No Purple, it's on Tuesday. I feel like I have been waiting for about 6 years!

I'm a communications officer for a local council and am running the press office tomorrow. I think it might be a busy day! At least because my manager knows about the pregnancy I have been let off doing the overnight whilst the results are being declared, colleagues will be there all night until about 5am!

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 06/05/2015 20:26

I didn't fancy doing the count although as I'm in finance that's what they wanted me to. They are expecting quite high press interest here, we are just down the road from South Thanet and you know who is trying to be MP there.

chopsface · 07/05/2015 16:03

Today I've not felt pregnant at all. Plus my right boob no longer hurts when I press it (left one does). Tinsy bit scared Sad

Giddymamma · 07/05/2015 18:01

Try not to worry chops, you are meant to start feeling human again as you progress through your pregnancy. Relax and enjoy your holiday, will be good for bean. Xx

Yokyil · 07/05/2015 20:43

chops right there with you. Pain has stopped in one boob but still in the other. Strange. How far along are you now?

chopsface · 08/05/2015 08:24

I'm 7+5. Last time I had proper nausea was Tuesday. Week 6 I felt like death! Surely that couldn't be 'it'!? I'm not going to feel better until I see something on my early scan next Thursday, but that is wishing away my lovely holidays too! I'm also getting a prickly pain across my tummy several times a day.

dojo how are you now sweets?

dojo123 · 08/05/2015 09:57

Morning.

thanks for asking after me chops, hope you're having a lovely break and stop worrying. Our bodies are doing weird and wonderful bloody confusing things at the mo.

Had more blush coloured cm yesterday evening and cramping but am taking this as "normal" in pregnancy my poor DH has had me asking him to check loo roll, he hasn't refused or been ill yet!

How is everyone doing today?

Should hopefully hear from my sis later today if her iVF worked.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 08/05/2015 09:59

chops some people don't suffer much morning sickness maybe you gong to be lucky.
Dojo you ok ?
