Come put your feet up in the Zen den and let the dh's wait on us hand and foot whilst we nurture the fruit of their loins in our bellies :-)

You made that babs? That is incredible! There are so many talented ladies on here :)

babsbunny · 14/06/2015 12:02

ThanksBlush.
I'm a total craft geek and wanted to be able to keep my bouquet to show my children.

nightandthelight · 14/06/2015 12:03

Oh that is so lovely! Do you sell the bouquets? I would totally have bought one from you!

babsbunny · 14/06/2015 12:06

That was my first one! I'm made the girls ones also. Since the wedding I have made drawers full of flowers all different sizes and colours. I want to build up some stock, then I could assemble bouquets and sell them when I'm on mat leave.

babsbunny · 14/06/2015 12:08

Also, will only be going back to work part time (no point financially in going back full time) so it would be good to have another little income for a holiday fund!

nightandthelight · 14/06/2015 12:11

That sounds like a wonderful plan :) I reckon the bouquets will be really popular, no more wilting flowers by the speeches! I need to come up with a talent so I can go part time!

babsbunny · 14/06/2015 12:24

Just find something you really enjoy!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 14/06/2015 17:14

Babs that is so very beautiful ??

babsbunny · 14/06/2015 18:41

Thanks heir. Hope you are ok today xxx

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 15/06/2015 08:24

How are you feeling today chops?
Babs your flowers are beautiful.
10 weeks today - got my next midwife appointment 4th August but still no sign of a scan date.

chopsface · 15/06/2015 08:42

Congrats on 10w purple! My midwife ordered the scan at our 9w appointment and we got it in the post a few days later. Did yours say what the process was?

I've lost all track of dates and days as I've been off sick for a week. Currently sat in bed waiting for the GP's to open so I can listen to an engaged tone for an hour so I can get my wee results back and speak to a doctor about my anti-sickness meds. I've been on them since Thursday night and they are allowing me to eat breakfast and lunch before wearing off in time for dinner. So I've been losing my dinner and any evening drink/snack :-( going to bed exhausted and empty. Unfortunately I lost my pills and vits 10 mins after taking them last night so now I feel ropey this morning too. Joy.

I've lost 2kg in a week and now weigh less than I did pre preg. Had to cancel my hairdressers on Saturday so my new short crop looks like an unkempt bird nest. Feeling a bit sorry for myself as you can imagine :-( sorry for the me post.

That all sounds so horrible chops :( fx you get through to your GP quickly!

My fatigue seems to have stepped up a notch today, struggling not to cry in work I want to be in my bed so badly :(

babsbunny · 15/06/2015 11:03

Morning.
Chops, you really are in the wars darling. Hope doc can offer some more relief today xxx
night, have you told a manager yet? I found telling someone in confidence was a good move, as they get a lot more flexible if you need to slip off early x

Purple, congratulations on 10 weeks! Double figures! Thanks re flowers x

12 weeks today! Celebrating in my bed currently waiting for upset tummy (polite way of describing the opposite to constipation) to subside so I can go to work. New and fun Hmm symptom that appeared last night....

nightandthelight · 15/06/2015 12:34

Congratulations on 12 weeks babs! Sorry to hear about your stomach though. Pretty sure you shouldn't be attempting to go into work today!

I am not the biggest fan of my line manager so don't want to tell her until I have to. At the moment I am coping my using up all my energy at work and then spending all evening in bed, not very exciting :(

Oysterbabe · 15/06/2015 20:46

Chops I'm so sorry to hear that you're having such a terrible time. You must be getting towards the end of it now surely.

I have my booking in appointment on 30th June. I've felt tired and a bit sicky today but still haven't been sick. I could happily eat cheesy chips for every meal. All about beige and carbs.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 15/06/2015 20:53

babs exciting are you having your scan this week?
Chops the request is in the system, but can take a few weeks to come through did say I could try ringing the appointment people direct, but have you ever tried to get through to a NHS department more chance of seeing the Loch Ness monster. If nothing turns up by Wednesday I'll have to try and call.
night tiredness is my main symptom. Did get a bit emotional watching last nights episode of Jonathan strange and Mr Norrell though.

babsbunny · 16/06/2015 09:37

Hi purple. Scan is one sat morning. Very nervous but excited too. Just want this week over now. Folks are arriving from Ireland in Fri morning. Going to be in a total daze entertaining them.

chopsface · 16/06/2015 10:36

babs do your folks know? Or are you sneaking out on Saturday morning and coming back with a scan pic for them as a surprise?!

OP posts:
Purplecuddlykoala14 · 16/06/2015 11:30

Got my scan date 1/7. Smile

babsbunny · 16/06/2015 20:16

Yey purple!

Chops, the folks know.

I've puked 5 times this evening. Including on my own feet in the street. Feel awful.

chopsface · 16/06/2015 20:32

Oh no! Poor you babs! How awful for you. Hope you're resting up and trying to keep some fluids in you. What is it with this late onset puke fests that's hitting a few of us!

OP posts:
Purplecuddlykoala14 · 16/06/2015 20:48

Oh no babs hope it stops again soon.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 16/06/2015 22:10
