Come put your feet up in the Zen den and let the dh's wait on us hand and foot whilst we nurture the fruit of their loins in our bellies :-)

Sorry to hear about your nana heir.
Tessie good test results and lovely that you got to hear the heartbeat.
Not much going on here, had the initial bloods done yesterday and still haven't got a scan date.

Oysterbabe · 11/06/2015 09:11

6+4 today. Terrifying stabbing pains yesterday but no blood and stopped today. Felt very sick this morning and gagged brushing my teeth, much better after toast. I'm meeting a friend and her 5 month old for lunch. Looking forward to cuddling him without the crippling jealousy!

nightandthelight · 11/06/2015 09:48

So sorry to hear about your Nan heir Flowers

Feeling emotionally fragile today, guess it's just my hormones running amok. Want to go on a date with DH this evening but have to go to my course. At least it's the last week!

Have some thick creamy discharge today for the first time, normal?

Oysterbabe · 11/06/2015 09:54

I had loads of white discharge for a while. Nothing now though. I think it's normal.

nightandthelight · 11/06/2015 10:11

That's good to know oyster :) Anyone spend the mornings feeling like they are going to burst into tears and then perk up in the afternoon?

chopsface · 11/06/2015 11:47

Sorry for your loss heir Flowers

I've had all sorts of discharge night at the moment it keeps feeling like I've wet my pants! maybe I have

I feel ill enough to bother the doctor now. Waiting for a call back. I'm shattered from not eating.

Oh and my emotions didn't kick in until the last week or 2.

Hope you're ok oyster and the nausea is a good sign by the way.

Evening

Sorry, have been so busy with work I haven't had a chance to update you guys from Tuesday.

Firstly heir sorry to hear about your nan, but it's lovely that you got to tell her all about your little bean before she passed. DH and I are thinking of using my gran (who is no longer with us) her name as a middle name if we have a girl. I think it's a very special thing especially if that person meant so much to you.

My consultant apt went well. Thanks for asking tessie. Put my mind at rest over a few things. I don't have high blood pressure but am concerned with pre-eclampsia as a colleague had it un diagnosed and unfortunately lost her son two days before the due date. I have been prescribed a small dose of aspirin every day until 28wk. This is supposed to risk chances of pre-eclampsia significantly. I also will be having two additional scans. One at 28wks and one at 36wks. Just to check on the growth of chip as it can be difficult to measure the bump accurately if you're carrying a bit more weight than ideal. Apart from that it all went well.

Today I am suffering from indigestion. So I think I'll be nipping to the supermarket to pick up some gaviscon in a sec!

nightandthelight · 12/06/2015 20:37

Argh am battling restless legs tonight :(

chopsface · 13/06/2015 21:40

Glad you'll be having more checks dojo x

Is there anyone in here not on the fb group now?

loopylou1984 · 14/06/2015 07:41

Probably just us lurkers chops! X

nightandthelight · 14/06/2015 09:19

I am determined to be semi productive today and not just lie on the sofa! Wish me luck ladies :) what is everyone's plans for Sunday?

babsbunny · 14/06/2015 09:50

No plans. Need to fill the time out, it has totally stood still now. Might get back to making some flowers, I've neglected them since we moved, and it distracts me to make pretty things.

How far along are you now night?

Chops, are you surviving Hon?

Dojo, that's reassuring with the extra checks. I have a glucose tolerance test in a few weeks as bmi is high. Hoping it comes back ok.

MayFlowers16 · 14/06/2015 10:08

Morning all. I've n/c from MarysPrayer.
Good to hear everyone's doing well. nice and nauseous here Grin
Is the Facebook group the same as the Bumsnet ttc one?

nightandthelight · 14/06/2015 10:37

Ooh by flower making do you mean out of silk or something babs?

I am six weeks tomorrow! Time is just crawling :( how about you?

It's a separate bfp fb group May :) Not sure who is admin for it (dojo?)

Oysterbabe · 14/06/2015 10:43

Morning everyone!
7 weeks today and feel fine aside from the permanently sore boobs. I've decided not to worry about it.
Had such a lazy weekend so far and that seems likely to continue. If the weather holds I'll spend a bit of time going round the allotment with a hoe trying to tame the weeds. I've got some courgette plants in the greenhouse that need planting out.

Oysterbabe · 14/06/2015 10:43

I think chops is admin.

nightandthelight · 14/06/2015 10:47

Congrats oyster on 7 weeks!

MayFlowers16 · 14/06/2015 11:09

7 weeks here too Oyster. Don't worry about the lack of sickness, you're obviously one of the lucky ones!
I totally agree that time is standing still Night.

chopsface · 14/06/2015 11:35

I'm not admin dojo is but I was able to add you oyster as you were already in my friends list :-)

Oh to be lucky enough not to have sickness... Can't believe I've developed hyperemesis at 13w! Doubled my dose of drugs today to try and combat this! The thing is the tablets are drowsy ones and I feel screwed!

If i have the energy I need to re-pot some tomato plants and tidy some of the house. I live in a pig stye I'm ashamed! I was meant to be going to the zoo with my sister and her kids but had to cancel. Bit sad about that as we were gonna tell the kids about their new baby cousin in my tummy!

Happy 7 weeks oyster and may, happy 6w to night and happy 12w to babs tomorrow!

babsbunny · 14/06/2015 11:36

Ooh action on the thread! It's good to hear everyone!

Congrats on the milestones girls! Time is so slow, but hey, it'll be worth the wait. (anyone ever looked in on the later antenatal groups when the babies start coming? It's all so exciting!)

12 weeks tomorrow. At last! Can't wait to get to see pip next week, badly in need of reassurance now. Nothing since the pregnancy tests!

I make paper flowers night. Started for my own bouquet for our wedding and never really stopped. I'm hoping it will supplement my non existent maternity package when I'm on leave!

Oysterbabe · 14/06/2015 11:41

I stalk those threads too babs Grin
Can't wait until it's me.
Glad I'm not the only one who isn't having an early scan too, feels like it sometimes. I will confess to having peed on a few ic tests though just to make sure there's still something there. I've got loads of them lying around and it gives me a tiny bit of reassurance to see an immediate incredibly dark line!

Congrats on being almost 12 weeks! When is the scan?

babsbunny · 14/06/2015 11:42

frogbubbles · 14/06/2015 11:42

Just quickly popped on to see how you lovely ladies are getting on. Chops I hope you are feeling a bit better now.

Heir I am so sorry for your loss. Sending lots of hugs and love your way x

babsbunny · 14/06/2015 11:47

Ha oyster. Glad I'm not the only lurker!

It's difficult to make the decision about the early scan. Dh talked me out of it, as he was worried it would be too early and inconclusive and thus cause more stress. I'm glad in some ways, but now really nervous about my dating scan. But I try to rationalise that if anything was up, I would have known about it by now. Scan is next sat morning. Fx.

Thanks chops! Glad you managed to eat today. It's a shame you can't see your nieces/nephews to tell them. Hope dh is looking after you xxx
