Come put your feet up in the Zen den and let the dh's wait on us hand and foot whilst we nurture the fruit of their loins in our bellies :-)

Oooh heir that is solo pretty!!!

I feel sick as a dog. Felt fine all day and then BAM! Nausea. I'm meant to be icing a dozen cupcakes right now for a McMillan girls night in were having tonight too. Bleeeuuughhh!! The very though of buttercream right now.... shudder.

The very thought of a girls night in where no one knows I'm pregnant and I feel pukey....shudder.

wotsits1 · 15/05/2015 17:51

sooooo pretty. Not solo.

I hate autocorrect

HeirToTheIronThrone · 15/05/2015 17:54

Wotsits I offer you room under my sofa blanket :) I couldn't face buttercream either, poor you.

wotsits1 · 15/05/2015 19:06

Thanks Heir! I manned up and made the cakes with my breath held mostly.

Now to go and sit with a group of drunken girls whilst I sip my caffeine free juice. Luckily... I'm a rubbish drinker so I very often offer to be designated driver so they shouldn't suspect too much!!

chopsface · 15/05/2015 20:19

Your lovely blue dress just popped up on my FB feed as things I might like lol!

Well done doing the cakes with nausea. I have started to feel really rank again this evening. Bleurch. I flipping hate it.

Off to my folks tomorrow to tell them the news. No need to poas I have my early scan, well worth the £75!

Been awol this past few days - nausea has been terrible this past week Confused trying half my time not to be sick - while still feeling terribly hungry at the same time. Such a strange feeling. Just feel so so poop Sad came home to my consultant appointment finally, the 11th June!!
Stats age 29, dc#1, mc#1 at 5 weeks, cycle #5, bfp 25th April, Edd 3rd January or thereabouts, first hospital appointment 11th June, 6 weeks today!!!
How're you all doing?

chopsface · 15/05/2015 21:32

Sorry to hear you're feeling so poorly yokyil I hate the constant hunger mingled with nausea. I'm having to eat something every hour! I really need to force myself to eat as the sicky feeling is so strong but usually after I swallow the 2nd bite I start to feel better. I don't know if that trick works for everyone though, I just find it works for me. I am so gonna be as big as a house soon! I've been putting on 3lbs a week of crap snacks! But seriously it has to be crap, fruit and veg don't work! How many weeks are you? 6/7?

Oh yes, new stat... 1st appointment May 18th ######

Hey girls. Looks like its a bad week all round. I had to run out of a site meeting to throw up yesterday. Later in the day I was puking in the unisex toilets at on of our projects and my boss came out after me. Yup barfed noisily in earshot of the boss. He looked slightly horrified.
Better today tho.

Maybe we should get a giant bumsnet blanket to all hide under....

Yokyil · 15/05/2015 21:54

6 weeks today chops sickness only kicked in last week, haven't vommed yet just feel sick from morning right through to about 5/6 then feel okay but wrecked cus of feeling sick all day, until it kicks back in around 10pm just before bed!! Grr!!! How're you all getting on with drinking water? I'm drinking 100% more water than I've ever drank before pregnancy - but am peeing less?!? Confused strange!
Have a meal with all the Inlaws tomorrow in a restaurant and I'm dreading it-big family gathering, and all I'm thinking about is the smells that are gonna make me wretch.
Had to have salty chips today - my healthy eating has went down the pan this week with not feeling well - just eating anything that doesn't make me feel ill!!
babs a giant blankie sounds awesome Grin

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 15/05/2015 22:21

I'm alright thanks dojo
I'm a couple of days behind you yokyll no sickness yet but expect it won't be long.
I've been trying to drink more water, all I could have today really as everything else is starting to taste funny. I had to throw my banana away as it tasted like washing up liquid Confused
tessie are you going to come back to the UK to have your baby?
chops good news on the appointment. I've yet to be contacted by the midwife but it's still early days.
The dress is lovely heir

dojo123 · 16/05/2015 00:27

Made it down to Cornwall safely, only arrived at my parents an hour ago. Think this is the latest I have stayed up in weeks.

Mum was showing me and DH all the things she's been knitting for my bothers arrivals in sept and oct, when I said 'you'll have to start making another for our little one'. Mum got a little watery eyed and gave me a hug and then I got a big hug off my dad. It was lovely telling them and they were so pleased for us.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 16/05/2015 07:14

Aw Dojo that's lovely.

Is anyone else having trouble with waking early and not being able to go back to sleep? I woke up at 5.45 this morning and was totally unable to get back to sleep Confused So tired!!!

dojo123 · 16/05/2015 08:12

Heir - yep. I've been doing the same. Woke at 6:40 this morning (later than usual but blame the time I went to bed) and have being trying to doze, just to get a bit more rest. Didn't help that the mad DH decided he would get up for a morning jog (10k!)

Giddymamma · 16/05/2015 08:19

Hello all!

Aw dojo, such a lovey reaction. It's so exciting when you get to start telling people. :) very sorry it didn't work this time for your sister though. Xx

Heir, the dress is gorgeous! Need something for ds' christening next month so might have to copy you....

Mummy, is your little one better now?

I've had my 12 week scan this week, all good! Told work last night - my boss just laughed and said "why am I not surprised? Congratulations!" And then started to show me pictures of his kids.... Couldn't have hoped for a better reaction so am relieved now.

Sorry to all the sicklies out there, it does get better! mmm buttercream.....!!

Congratulations purple and yokyil, fab to see you here!! Xx

Oh yes, stats....

##37 yo, preg w dc 2, 2nd pregnancy, due 26 nov, not sure how many days po I was when got Bfp, can't remember what else to put.... Smile ##

chopsface · 16/05/2015 08:46

Ooo nice and busy here now!

Sorry you've been so sick babs Are you snacking to keep your tummy occupied? Don't let yourself get hungry, its worse x

yokyil I used to love drinking water, drank a 1 litre bottle over the working day. Can't stomach it now :-( I can drink juice, smoothies and ginger ale/lemonade type things. My body won't let me drink coke, total caffeine aversion!

giddy yay for 12 weeks scan being all and well!

heir also waking up early, mainly because my stomach is empty and churning and I need to get breakfast! I've been on annual leave the last fortnight and I'm.glad I'm waking early to keep me in practice for getting up for work next week! Normally if I'm on A/L I reverse my sleep patterns!

Telling my mummy and daddy today! Woo! Glad your announcement went well dojo!

Giddymamma · 16/05/2015 09:01

Thanks chops! Enjoy making your big announcement. :)

babsbunny · 16/05/2015 11:32

Dojo. Delighted for your parents reaction. It's lovely to tell them.

Giddy, congratulations on the scan. Must be amazing to see.

Chops...enjoy telling your folks!

Heir, dress is beautiful. Really lovely colour.

Have been trying to regulate the food intake. Feeling a bit more human today (woke up and ate a yogurt at 5 this morning). Fx for a good day!

Might go for a swim. You ladies been swimming whilst Pg?

Giddymamma · 16/05/2015 11:41

I've been swimming babs! I take a bottle of water and keep it on the side, as I get really thirsty, and just chug up and down and switch my brain off. Lovely!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 16/05/2015 19:08

I've been swimming too. Waiting to have enough bump to wear my lovely polka dot maternity swimsuit now :)

chopsface · 16/05/2015 19:17

I need to buy a maternity swimsuit :-) I have actually no idea where to get any maternity stuff from or what styles I want to wear! Its going to be the summer months for most of it otherwise I would have just lived in jeans with the waistband. Only have a few more weeks in normal clothes.... Eeek!

OP posts:
HeirToTheIronThrone · 16/05/2015 21:15

New Look is good value for basic stuff. And got my swimsuit and a bundle of dresses for work from eBay!

babsbunny · 16/05/2015 22:06

Can I ask a tmi question?

Has anyone experienced what I have seen referred to on tiniternet as vagina lightening?
I am getting some random shooting pains in that general area this evening....

chopsface · 17/05/2015 09:04

I don't think I've had lightening vag babs its prob not compulsory lol

OP posts:
wotsits1 · 17/05/2015 09:06

MelonMelon · 17/05/2015 09:13

Morning ladies. chops has invited me to the party so can I nervously save a seat? Lovely dark line today after a faint bfp on Friday.

How is it possible to feel so normal?!
