Come put your feet up in the Zen den and let the dh's wait on us hand and foot whilst we nurture the fruit of their loins in our bellies :-)

Thanks purple. I'm fine, it's just weird seeing cm you're not used to. Makes you worry if things are going as the should.

Mummyofonesofar · 09/05/2015 08:43

So I survived polling day as did some of you! Just a disappointing result - especially for our tax credits if we could have gotten any!!

Oh and here is my tum tum last night...

Mummyofonesofar · 09/05/2015 08:44

Ignore the bed behind! DS had got changed rolling around in it and we read his story on it Blush

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 09/05/2015 10:03

Yes I surived, was in quite a busy station so the day went quickly. DC did promise 30 hours free child care so it's not all bad Hmm.
Peed on an IC yesterday got the darkest line yet. Hope my digi's turn up today so I can see the magic word as still a bit surreal.
Glad you're ok dojo.
Great bump there mummy if I start getting a bump so soon it's not gonna take people at work long to work it out as I'm quite petite!

Mummyofonesofar · 09/05/2015 10:16

Purple ours was a steady station so had a stream all day and a couple of queues. It helps pass the day but didn't get a chance to open my book! My dress was clinging to it at work yesterday - people will be guessing in a few weeks as I don't have lots of baggy clothes!

Yokyil · 09/05/2015 12:47

Peed on a Digi this morning, got my 3+ which I was hoping for! And test line darker than control line on an ic - so taking that as a good sign Smile first ever morning of feeling queasy - went out for breakfast and could barely manage half my pancakes Sad they looked so yum! Anyone getting really dry mouth??

Mummyofonesofar · 09/05/2015 13:32

yokyil great result in the digital and ICs. Very dry mouth here, drinking so much water, I even dream about being thirsty and wake up in the night to drink. Carrying a 750ml bottle around and constantly filling it!

Yokyil · 09/05/2015 13:52

Same here - sleeping pattern up the left too. Tired but like clockwork wake up around 3/4 and awake for an hour or more - or I don't wake during the night I wake at a god awful hour of the morning! Hmm have never drank as much water in my life

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 09/05/2015 14:23

Done the digi 2-3 weeks so that's good.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 09/05/2015 19:16

Is it too soon to buy some maternity bits? Just ordered some jeans and a coat to put away for he winter - they've got a sale on the jeans were only a tenner. Don't mind if they don't fit great for that price.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 09/05/2015 19:17

New look has got a sale on

coffeenut · 10/05/2015 06:49

wow mummy look at that bump!

I'm just bloated - I feel like I have saddle-bag bloat if that makes sense?! Yuck.

I have zero symptoms - less symptoms than I had last week and I'm only 5 + 4. I guess they will come.

Not too soon to buy if they're on sale purple Smile I change quite a bit when I'm really pregnant though (ie put on a lot of weight!)

wotsits1 · 10/05/2015 07:37

ooooh sale!!! I'm off to new look!

Yokyil · 10/05/2015 08:20

Feel completely grim Sad dunno if I'm coming down with something or if it's morning sickness. Literally felt like I could've been sick all day yesterday - was hoping beyond hope id wake up differently this a.m...not so :( and I've visitors for Sunday dinner and Dh is away til this evening - I feel like staying under the covers and not coming out!

Mummyofonesofar · 10/05/2015 08:41

yokil sorry you're feeling rubbish, make sure you eat regularly in case it is morning sickness

coffee it is bloat really - can't be baby as it's the size of a chocolate chip!

purple I wish I had a new look nearby. I may check if they have the sale online!

Yokyil · 10/05/2015 10:21

mummy managed 2 rounds of toast - and a walk in the fresh air definitely helped. But I can't walk day and daily for another 8 months Confused lol

babsbunny · 10/05/2015 17:59

Oh Yokyil. Sorry you are feeling grim. I sympathise. Feeling exactly the same for a week now. Finding it hard to eat, but dh making me. Might make some soup later. I find walking helps.

Don't know whether to just tell my bosses (husband and wife team). She is a retired midwife, so I think I'm busted anyway. Felt and looked so rough in work last week that she asked if I wanted to go home. She was lovely and told me I didn't need to tell her what was up, but to let them know if I wanted to go home/work from home.
There's only 12 of us in the office, so it's hard to blend into the background.

babsbunny · 10/05/2015 18:01

Sorry for the me post. Feel like a self absorbed wreck just now Confused

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 10/05/2015 18:51

Hope you start to feel better soon yokyll and babs.
I'm not getting any symptoms so I expect this is the calm before the storm.
mummy I just ordered online it's much easier.

Mummyofonesofar · 10/05/2015 19:40

Oh babs maybe you should tell her. I told my boss so at least she doesn't keep telling me I look tired!

purple I just won some seraphine maternity trousers on eBay!! £4.90 including postage Grin

babsbunny · 10/05/2015 19:50

Ooh. New trousers!

Think I might mummy. It might help. It's not helping that I'm stressing about my performance in work, cause I feeel so rough.

Purple. Revel in the symptom free time! I hope you don't get sickness . It's pants! How many weeks are you?

Yokyil · 10/05/2015 20:39

Thanks Babs - felt okay the rest of the afternoon. Managed to make dinner for everyone and eat a full plate myself - so was a bonus! Also managed some salt & vinegar sticks Grin while I still can!!! I know I'm in the same predicament, wondering wether I should leave telling work till I've at least been for a scan?

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 10/05/2015 22:32

5 weeks tomorrow babs eek.
I've never brought anything from ebay, might have to have a look.
The lady I sit opposite at work has had three kids, so she'll proably suss me ok pretty soon.

wotsits1 · 11/05/2015 07:02

I just won a pair of next trousers on eBay... £4.99 incl postage. Gonna need a few pairs and I hate buying work clothes at the best of time... let alone when I'm only going to be in them a little while.

wotsits1 · 11/05/2015 08:55

Maternity skinny jeans are £7 in the sale on the new look website!!!
