Mamama31, hope it goes okay good luck Flowers

YY to the random rage though, I shouted at the Jeremy Kyle show yesterday much to dp's amusement. Serves my right though as we made the effort to watch it on catch up yesterday evening. Can't miss my jez fix.

ninjabeer · 15/04/2015 08:21

Will be thinking if you tty of a mamama what time is your scan?

ninjabeer · 15/04/2015 08:23

Thinking of you even. Too early to be typing on a tiny device!

Have a fab day everyone. Grin

Scan at 1.30pm today at 9 +3 weeks. DP can't be there as works 10hrs straight on filmset he is gutted but we both want to know something is there. Looking forward to watching The Delivery Man on ITV tonight it's a comedy about a male midwife. Good Luck everybody else with scans today Smile

flyingsprocket · 15/04/2015 09:19

Oh the delivery man sounds good.

I'm another one with vanishing symptoms, boobs are no longer sore, indigestion isn't too bad. I even had a normal breakfast today instead of my recent meals of 4 slices of toast, cereal any other carbs I can get my hands on & followed about 30 minutes later by a bag of crisps or a giant handful of ritz crackers.

The sun's shining here again today, it makes everything so much more lovely!

Lauramum23 · 15/04/2015 09:20

Good luck with scans today.
Mine is at 12.15 today as well!

I love the fact that you want to push her off her bike!!! So funny ( in a sick kind of way!)

I'm irritated at the moment the woman I work with is a dizzy bitch and she gets on my titty ends quite often she's too slow and I just want to scream GET A FUCKING MOVE ON!! But I don't I just say it in my head and try to keep calm.

Well I must have got up for 6 wees last night how annoying and my youngest woke me up at 3 am so I was an hour getting back to sleepConfused I'm full of cold too which isn't helping and I've shit loads to do in the house but I don't have time so I might leave it till Saturday as I've nothing else planned.

BowiesJumper · 15/04/2015 09:24

Thank god I wasn't sitting here on my own with my nipples (metaphorically) out Heir, I thought I'd over shared! Ha.

Good luck today to all scanners and fingers crossed for you Mamama.

STILL waiting for my scan date. I was told it would arrive this week. I'm just impatient!

Blueblink · 15/04/2015 09:24

Sticky I agree with Crumbelina maybe a non face to face approach might be best. After my experience I can say that I feel really bummed out after telling my friend and am now reluctant to tell any others to be honest. I don’t even think I was that “gushy” when I told her and now feel incredibility guilty. We are commuter friends so spend an hour together every morning and some evenings if we get the same bus and it’s probably going to get more awkward. If I’d have known her situation I would have defiantly re-considered!

Best of luck today Mammaand ehealy and you too Lauramum23

Hope everyone has a great day today!

BlueBananas · 15/04/2015 09:28

Good luck for all the scans today Flowers

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 15/04/2015 09:30

Good luck with today's scans.

I have a friend who has been ttc since before I had my first baby. When I get pregnant, I tell her by text because I think she has the right to hear that news and not having to pretend to be thrilled for me if she is really feeling hurt. She usually rings me straight away and seems genuinely thrilled.
I realise I make it sounds like I get pregnant all the time- twice in the last 6 months seems like a lot, but I had a mc just before Christmas.
I think alerting someone the privacy to react however they want us probably the kindest thing to do.
That said, after I had my mc, other people's pregnancy announcements didn't bother me at all. But then I already had my 2 year old dd.

tootsroots · 15/04/2015 09:38

Morning all- currently sitting in an utter panic at my local walk in epu - my gp receptionist sent me as next spot for gp was 3 weeks. I have been doubled over in pain - and having regular
Cramping though no bleeding - it simply doesn't feel normal- I have had cramping and bleeds before but this is so bad:( .
Hope they are kind as am by myself as dh is at work.

WannabeLaraCroft · 15/04/2015 10:00

Hi everyone, I posted on the last thread and GuybrushThreepwoodMP kindly led me here Smile

I'm also due in November, had my midwife booking appointment on Thursday, get my first scan on 27th April. Very nervous!

I've been keeping ok - sore boobs, slight nausea but not actually been sick. I find that eating all the time seems to help!

WannabeLaraCroft · 15/04/2015 10:01

Oh toots sorry, I didn't notice your post before I posted! Good luck Flowers

BlueBananas · 15/04/2015 10:02

Welcome wannabe

ThreeBeanRap · 15/04/2015 10:53

toots I really hope everything's ok.

Fingers crossed for all of you with spotting too, I hope scans all show there's nothing to worry about. Mine definitely seems to have stopped so I am slightly more hopeful for my scan tomorrow morning. It's so worrying but it's reassuring to see there are instances on here where it's turned out ok.

Mamama31 · 15/04/2015 11:18

Hi, it's bad news from my scan. No development from last week and no HB detected so will a miscarriage. Have a scan on Mon to confirm then have to decide how to miscarry. Thanks for all your kind wishes and prayers. I am beyond devastated. Life can be so cruel.

I wish you all the very best with healthy pregnancies and beautiful healthy babies x

Blueblink · 15/04/2015 11:45

Oh Mamama so so sad to read this sending you all the love… wishing you all the very best. Flowers Xxx

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 15/04/2015 11:59

Mamama I am so sorry. Have you been given the information you need about what happens next? I'm so so sorry- it is the worst fucking thing. I was in your situation in December. Miscarriages can fuck off. Thanks Thanks

BowiesJumper · 15/04/2015 12:01

Oh Mamama, I'm so so sorry Sad
How awful for you. There's nothing I can say to make it better. Just sending love your way. Flowers

Toots, I hope all is well.

BleachedBarnet · 15/04/2015 12:07

Mamama so sorry to read this. Wishing you the best Flowers

toots I hope all is ok, thinking of you.

Had my booking in appointment yesterday and managed to make a fool of myself blubbering, shaking and sweating over the blood test (very squeamish/needle phobic). I had barely managed to eat the past three days for the MS and so I was drinking a sugary drink though the appointment to try and avoid a fainting situation.

Today the midwife has called and said my blood sugar was little tiny bit high (no shit!) and that's she's booked me for a Glucose Tolerance Test tomorrow morning. The thought of having multiple blood tests and a possible needle in my hand just a day after the other one is making me really panic - I know worse is to come before you all jump in - and I'm just pissed off because if I had managed to eat properly and hadn't had the drink I'm sure it would have been fine.

I'm really working myself up into a panic about the test Sad

Unthoughtknown · 15/04/2015 12:07

Mamama, I'm so sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself. It sucks! Flowers

doomclaw · 15/04/2015 12:10

Mamama -- so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself.

Thanks Crumb - nice to have something to look forward to.

Good luck to others having scans today
