Loads of water mrswishywashy about 3lr a day at least. And loads of veg and fibre. But my digestive system has just totally lost the urge to clear out!

cryingbabymess · 20/04/2015 19:58

So just had a meltdown....eating my way through a large bag of crisps and my OH says I think that's enough (I've had 3/4 of the bag by this point!) so I said why stop now you already think I'm fat and ugly.....he said nothing!!! ConfusedConfused So I promptly burst into tears!! HmmSad

stace1986 · 20/04/2015 19:58

I am drinking atleast 2 litres a day... most days more. Making no difference here either! :(

annatha · 20/04/2015 20:04

Guybrush pooing a watermelon is the most accurate way of describing birth I've ever heard! I remember going on and on to the midwife that I wasn't ready to have the baby, I just REALLY needed a poo. In fact it didn't feel like anything was happening at the front right until she crowned.

TakesTwoToTango · 20/04/2015 20:08

Oh crying try not to take it too much to heart. He probably was just trying to be supportive and then didn't know how to react when he realised he'd obviously said totally the wrong thing! I bet he wasn't meaning t be horrid and doesn't think of you that way at, it's just your hormones (understandably) clouding everything.

cryingbabymess · 20/04/2015 20:29

I know takestwo! It's just because he didn't say anything and he knows I'm insecure anyway and I know it was just my hormones making me cry! Just wahhhh ConfusedShock

mrsscarlettbutler · 20/04/2015 20:35

oh crying poor you, I hope he was nice to you when you cried?!

I am feeling SO SICK today. I don't know what to do with myself so have come to bed. I've been feeling nauseas pretty much constantly for the past 6 weeks but I've managed to find things that help. Today, nothing is helping. I've had pasta and pesto, an ice lolly, an orange, salted popcorn, apple juice, some refreshers. All usually failsafe ways to stave off the nausea but not today. I just feel full and uncomfortable and sick. Plus I have a horrendous headache. Any suggestions? This is horrible! Have also drunk over 2l of water so I don't think i'm dehydrated. I just feel awful. Will be 12 weeks on Wednesday and sort of hoped it might be over by now….

cryingbabymess · 20/04/2015 20:43

Mrsscarlet yea he came over and gave me hugs and apologised. Not good about your nausea! touch wood I've not had MS/nausea for what feels like a few weeks but in reality it's probably only a week!

Lauramum23 · 20/04/2015 20:51

Oh god my bloke usually says things like that tell him to eff off! Smile
I too am overly sensitive tho and think people are saying mean things all the time like when I had my scan the sonographer lady kept saying it's very small tho when I asked which was the head end etc so I said to my mum she is being well dismissive about my prawn!! And my mum said that she wasn't she was being nice it was me being sensitive!! Smile

Right I can't remember what else I was gonna put so I'm going to have to post this then check back...,
Bare with...........Smile

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 20/04/2015 20:53

Think I felt a bit of movement today. Some tiny pops. 10 weeks seems very early but as it's my second pregnancy and I've got two babies in there, it could be.

Lauramum23 · 20/04/2015 20:56

Sickness that was it!! Mine seems to have got worse at the minute , I'm. 9 weeks. In facti don't know if u saw my post on Friday I felt so ill I went to bed at 5 pm with the worst migrane! so I'm jacking my hideous cleaning job in as it's making me ill and all the lifting and up and down the stairs is just awful. So I got myself sorted with a part time hairdressing job!! Yey!
So we will have to stick with it girls and hope that by 12 ish weeks we will feel a bit better Smile

Sympathy fist bumps to those with worsening sickness. I'll be 9 weeks on Wednesday and today I insta vomited up a glass of water :( caramel snack a jacks seem to help.

TakesTwoToTango · 20/04/2015 22:39

Oh poor you annbag in my last two pgs my nausea and headaches were worst 10-16 weeks, nothing much before that and had just started thinking I'd got off lightly! This time it started at 5 weeks and [whispers it] I feel a bit less sick today at 10+1. Am so hoping I'm through the worst, but it's also making me nervous! Not nervous enough to want it back though, I still feel I'll enough thanks!

Crumbelina · 20/04/2015 22:50

Big sympathy to everyone with sickness and nausea. It's such a struggle. Sad Mine seemed to be quite textbook: 6-12 weeks, with the odd wobble still.

I got my Down's result in the post today: 1 in 9,600! A victory for the older mum-to-be. Wink

TakesTwoToTango · 20/04/2015 23:49

hurrah crumbelina congratulations that's a great result!

Unthoughtknown · 21/04/2015 04:24

Tmi alert but in a world of pain. So constipated, have felt the strong urge to go but can't - each attempt is more painful than the last. Considering staying off work and going to gp this morning - feel like I need an enema or something. Ugh.

reb2g08 · 21/04/2015 07:04

Unthought have a hot water with lemon in and see if that gets anything moving before work!

Focusfocus · 21/04/2015 07:17

Oh goodness, nausea at end of magical twelve weeks? I thought it would be done by now! Hope it stays away for me there's piles of student papers sat staring at me :( hope everyone else improves soon!

I cry every opportunity I think, st just about anything! So sympathies!!

My nausea is still at bay jt have been away on a girlie weekend & my bloated belly just popped out again. Friday morning I tried on a tight little black dress & it looked lovely, when it came to wear it I looked like a had a pot belly Sad

I've given up all but my one cup of proper coffee in the morning as that's the only thing that keeps me 'ahem' regular. I know water's been mentioned but exercise helps too, even just a gentle pregnancy yoga dvd can help keep everything moving.

I can't look at prune juice ever again after ODing on a giant bottle post surgery last year. I had strong painkillers which always constipate me & couldn't wait for the Sennokot to work so downed a whole bottle, the results were horrific!

flyingsprocket · 21/04/2015 08:34

Crumbelina were you on Clomid? If so- snap! Sounds like you were on your first month? If so you were lucky, it took 5 months for me and I found it to be a horrible drug.

NoMoreSashimi · 21/04/2015 09:24

I had an awful evening, had a bad reaction to my dinner and was sick for an hour. The next thing I remember was waking up on the bathroom floor with a massive headache. Must have fainted and fallen head first off the toilet. I feel likel I was in a fight last night. Should I call the midwife about the fainting? I wasn't even dizzy before and never normally faint Sad

Crumbelina · 21/04/2015 09:25

Thanks all, feels very reassuring!

Flying, I was on Clomid but had to give it up after 2 cycles as I developed optic neuritis and thought it was due to Clomid (it wasn't, just a coincidence). Switched to Tamoxifen (very similar to Clomid), got checked out for Multiple Sclerosis (as optic neuritis can be a strong marker), got the all clear, completely destressed and got pregnant a few days later on the first cycle! I bloody love fertility drugs!

I'm the same as you, my caffeine allowance all goes on the morning latte! Smile
