As we are all enjoying the scan pics here is mine from Tuesday when i was 9+4. They are all so wonderful!
As for boobs and bras... pretty sure mine haven't grown at all! Although, my nipples could cut through glass

Ahaha!!! I see it now you've pointed it out! Perhaps you should consider that as a name (even if it's a girl).

we have been trying to come up with a "bump" name and I think it might end up being Homer now.....

ooo thanks for the advice, i will be taking those fugly ones back then!!!! She was militant. Goodness before i was pg i would have been proper fiesty but i seem to be 'told' quite alot recently by the 'experts' things i would have just ignored and gone on my own merry way with. hurmph.

I am definitely sticking to wired bras, I'm a 32ff and BF my son for a year, can't do without! The Bravissimo website says wired fine as long as it fits properly.

Ooh I forgot about the stats, could someone change my EDD to 31/10 and my age to 28? Thanks, my phone won't let me copy and paste.

I remember having a couple of injections in hospital but DD was transferred to SCBU at a different hospital so I self discharged on the Monday afternoon after having the CS on the Sunday morning. I am pretty sure they'd have given me injections to take home if I needed them though, must have been a policy change in the intervening years.

I'm not looking forward to bra shopping at all. I'm a 40D/DD and last pregnancy I went to a 42DD, which is crap because most non granny bras only go up to a 38, 40 at a push. I really struggled with nursing bras- I hate non wired bras anyway as I don't feel supported but I really hate thin unstructured cups that don't cover your nips up at all, so not only was I flashing people when bf, I also looked like I wasn't even wearing a bra anyway so if anyone finds nice, padded/moulded cup nursing bras let me know!!

I was a 32e before my last pregnancy, went up to a 36g by the time I gave birth, a 34hh when my milk came in, then slowly went back down to a 30ff when I stopped bfing.

On the plus side I have a large collection of different sized bras so shouldn't need to buy any new ones this time!

annatha honestly I think I wore 'normal' bras to BF. I wore vest tops constantly (still do) so would take off one bra strap and hoik everything out. Not elegant but also not as horrific as it sounds BFd DS for a year this way. I couldn't have worn nursing bras - just no support.

Remember too that you might want to wear breast pads too which give more 'nipple coverage' - I was v unlucky and didn't stop leaking til I stopped BFing so wore them for a year but I think that's really unusual. I preferred disposable over washable - felt they were more absorbent but probably changed by now.

Always ways and means to get something done

Annatha firstly get measured at bravissimo as if the cups aren't covering your nipples then they sound too small.

Nursing bras I liked were the panache Sophie, the Anita (which is underwired) and the bravado bliss which isn't wired but is padded and structured so holds everything in place. Apparently if you're handy with a needle and thread you can convert a normal bra into a nursing bra quite easily but I've never tried it.

I'm with you all on the bra thing and have the most itchy nipples that I can't scratch as they're so sore arghh!!!

I LOVED the Anita bra. After 10 months with a monoboob, it was great to be back in undertow.
Breastfed dd for a year but I don't think I'm going to bf this time so might be back in normal bras a bit earlier.

I too am having a nightmare with bras Elle Mac Pherson does a maternity range which is great. I had itchy nipples from an ASOS bra because of the lace. I've gone from 32d to 32f. OH is in awe

Can I just say thank you to the person who recommended sports bras on another thread (Crying?). Sooo comfortable to wear in bed at night.

I bought an awful spongy boulder bra in M&S and my God, it's fugly! I also bought a couple of underwired bras (up from 32DD to 32E now) and they're so much nicer.

Thinking about MS, I think mine is finally on the way out (12+5). It was really bad from about 6-9 weeks, then came and went (so I veered between feeling "urg" and then wondering/worrying why it had gone). I now get a bit of nausea in the evening before dinner but it's much more manageable.

We're racing through this thread! Over a quarter of it filled already!

Well we've just told DS. He is absolutely over the moon, and cried! Just love him to bits. He will be the best big brother.

Crumbelina yea I suggested the sports bra! It's been a god send for me! Although my sore boobs have eased off the last 7-10 days along with all my other symptoms... I'm not panicking too much as I'm still fussy with what I want to eat and drink and still loving a snooze! Lol.

If you're watching the pennies then Asda does soft bras for £6, I've bought two having gone up 2 back sizes and 1 cup size, they're not too hideous and really comfy.

So I had to tell work today - I have been off sick with a terrible cough and had enough days to trigger a 'sickness warning' so had to fess up really. My manager seemed ok with it, offered his congratulations etc. I so hope now the scan is all ok, it's made me nervous telling him before I've had it.

Amazed by all the twins, there's none in my family and I don't know any bar one pair of sisters from my primary school. Very much hoping there's just one here, our flat would not hold two!
