toots can't believe your GP was so dismissive and you ended up in hospital. Sounds like you were well looked after though, and exciting that your dates have gone forward!

Very exciting all the twins on here! We have a strong history of multiples on both sides of my family (triplets as well as twins EEK) and my cousin just had twins so were were a little nervous, but just the one this time. A friend of mine has 10 month old twins and is just about to have baby #3. So for a few weeks she will have 3 under 1 - argh!

I've stopped spotting after my bleed on Monday night, so trying to remain positive until my scan next Thursday but still feeling quite nervous. I hate that we have so little control over all of this!

Here is my wee baby! Dated at 11+2 so will update stats in a minute - full day ahead lol. All went really well - thanks for your positive thoughts.

I'm hopeful that when I have my scan we only see 1 blob and not 2! I really don't think we could cope with 2!

I just caved and bought non wired bras at lunch form M&S in the City.

I have to had padded due to pg nipple pokiness but wow they are truly Fugly. The lady would not even let me try on Wired as they are 'dangerous to breat tissue' is this true? Went for cotton rich tshirt non wired in nude/black and 2 shades of purple. I love my lingerie and this is killing me.

I needed to go from a 36 B to a 38 B... the relief of not being crushed by the band is immense. I have also bought back extenders for 'special occasion' bras that go under some of my nice dresses i can still wear!

Had my scan on Monday, my dates said I would he approx 12 weeks, I suspected I was less abd I was right! Was 10+2! Gotta go back in 2 weeks for a "proper" 12 week scan, was lovely seeing my little jellybean though, heart beating and bouncing around.

Anyone else whose had a scan get the "fuck! There is actually a baby in there!" moment? I did again, I also did with my DS 2 years ago

Crap scan pic! I suppose you can make out the jellybean's head and arm up by where it's face is but that is about it!

Anyone else still not told family? Waiting til my proper 12 week scan to tell!

My bras are still fitting ok so I'll put off the no underwire thing. I've not worn without since I was about 14! I've already got bigguns (34G) so god knows what I'll end up with! Ha!

Bowiesjumper I am 10 weeks now by the scan. You could see the tiny arms and legs jiggling around it was so cute! You'll get your appointment soon, it is a total pain waiting for it though!

I went from 34 DD to 36 E before week 8, glad expansion seems to have stopped now... I've also not worn bras without wires since I was a young teen, but I'm quite amazed by the quality and feel of my fairly cheap Mothercare bra. Very surprised I don't miss the wires!

I am still in my wired bras... i am 34/36 G pre preg so god knows what i'll go up to. Hard enough finding decent bras now. Curious though, can I wear underwired still? I have heard coflicting advice for and against. :) not sure I'll cope without I definitely need the support!!

Toots imo that is bollocks and you can wear underwired bras so long as they fit well. I wore underwired bras right up till when I gave birth and breastfed with no problems, then once my boobs got small enough to fit in one I bought an Anita underwired nursing bra which is the best nursing bra I own. Are you sure you are really a 38b? M&s are notorious for putting people in too small cups and too big bands - see all of the bra intervention threads for more details.

High five boob twin stace! I definitely need supportive bras - generally wear a balconette style as mine as a bit bottom heavy. I don't want them looking all droopy! (Again, possibly an overshare!).
