Morning ladies

Well I'm getting my first waves of Nausea, had the dizziness issue for the lat week but the symptoms have started setting in now.... joy oh joy!

Also got my booking in appointment today for the 1st May.... clearly my MW's are eager this time as I'll only just be 8 1/2 weeks...... still seems agessssss away!

Welcome to the new BAPS (did one of you say it will be DC6 - wow! You shall be our resident expert then!)

Nicnak Yes, I switched to decaf tea as soon as I got my bfp so I didn't have to worry. I think I've had 2.5 cups of non-decaf in the last couple of weeks due to someone at work making me one (I keep volunteering now so I can slip in my own teabags!) and MIL making some over Easter. Will be so much easier once I tell people!

I looked up the caffeine in Diet Coke over the weekend and it was about 45mg per can, so an odd glass will be fine. It's about all I can drink now when out in a restaurant/pub other than water so glad about that!

Sorry the nausea has hit dojo and toadie. Still nada here for me. What's to bet it'll come tomorrow when I'm on a 4 hour car journey up north to do a presentation at a sales meeting. Or Wednesday when I'm on the same journey home. Really hoping it doesn't!

My GP receptionist was surprisingly helpful this morning and managed to get me in for a blood test about an hour after I called! Saw my regular nurse and she was so happy for me which was lovely.

Oh and thank you for the updated stats toadie . So exciting that you will be seeing your beanbaby a week today! really really hope I get given a scan at my hospital appt on Friday, cannot wait

Eek toadie will you have the first bean scan? Or maybe Pug will sneak up and clinch it this week.... Two weeks today for me and I'm bursting. Will be wishing away our holiday next week!

Happy to be an online workout buddy to anyone into all that jazz! I teach but really struggled through first tri last time. Be kind to your bodies - and don't forget all that relaxin kicks in super early and will be making us all bendier/less stable than normal!

Bit of an update - had an early scan at 6+1 and it's not good news, they couldn't find any sign of a pregnancy in my uterus. I've had an hCG blood test, will be having another one on Wednesday to find out if it's a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy.

Oh alpha. I'm so sorry. Hope you get your results soon so you can find out what's happened.

Hi ladies, I got my bfp on Friday which was a total shock as I thought I'd had my period the weekend before (but it was only spotting really). I only took it because me and the oh are due at the fertility clinic on Friday and something felt a bit odd!! I didn't want us looking like frauds if i was pg and it looks like I am!! i am in total shock.

So i thought I'd see if I could join you all on here but it doesn't look like a good time. I'm sorry to hear your news alpha and i hope wednesday brings you some answers.

Oh Alpha I'm really so sorry to hear your news. I'm afraid you and I are in the same boat. My bleeding continued and although our scan isn't until Friday I was advised to take another digital, which is now showing 'not pregnant'. We will go ahead with the scan just to see that no medical care is needed, but we are certain now that this journey is over.

I lost my dad last year, and in my mind I've told myself that this little one has gone to wherever his or her grandad is, so he can be a grandad to them there. I know MN doesn't approve of woo, and I don't usually at all, but this thought, no matter how silly, gives me some comfort.

I wish everyone on this lovely Baps bus very happy and healthy pregnancies and lovely little Christmassy babies, all the very very best xx

alpha and komnu I'm so sorry to hear your news. I hope you have lots of support at home and are feeling as OK as you can in the circumstances.
I'm in the same boat as my bleeding continued all weekend and was painful. I'm pretty sure this bean hasn't stuck but waiting until next Mon for an early scan to confirm.
I really hope to meet you both again on a future Baps bus!
