I've just come on to catch up with you all and I'm so sad to see your updates Morecake and alpha . I hope with all my heart you both get a positive outcome, and that you have plenty of support at home over the coming days.

ThePug · 11/04/2015 17:02

Nothing exciting to update here - 6 weeks today! And got my appointment letter through in the post for my consultant visit on Friday when I should be 6+6. The diabetes clinic info says "Ultrasound scanning will be performed at approximately 7 weeks gestation to confirm a viable pregnancy" So I'm wondering whether I might get whisked off for one on Friday (which would be amazing), but guess that is probably unlikely without an actual ultrasound appointment.

Metalhead · 11/04/2015 18:40

So sorry to hear it's not looking good for you morecake and alpha. Keeping my fx that there will be a positive outcome.

I still had high blood pressure at my check up yesterday so will need to go back to see my GP next week. Trying to decide whether to buy a monitor and check my blood pressure at home, in case it's just 'white coat syndrome'... Argos do them for around £25 so I might pick one up in town tomorrow.

ThePug · 11/04/2015 18:50

Can you ask your GP to lend you one Metal ? I was given one on loan for about 10 days I think a few years ago as had suspected 'white coat syndrome' (it sort of was, but more to do with the fact I was always running from work to my appointments at the surgery!)

shinysparklythings · 11/04/2015 18:55

Sorry to hear that morecake and alpha Flowers

Welcome to the new baps!

dojo yes I have been freezing all week! Kind of reassuring to hear it's not just me.

I am finally home, now just have to wait till mon to ring the docs and find out what I do next.

TerryTheGreenHorse · 11/04/2015 18:59

I'm sorry to hear your updates alpha Morecake & daisy.

Come on beans. Xx

daisyspice · 11/04/2015 19:10

Hi guys

Wee update....now just a pink tinge when wiping so I'm taking this as a good signs and hoping it doesn't get worse

Hope everyone else is doing ok Smile x x

Metalhead · 11/04/2015 19:23

I didn't know they could do that Pug, maybe I'll wait until I've seen him then rather than buy one.

Fx for you daisy, that sounds encouraging.

goneswimming · 11/04/2015 20:03

Evening everyone! I went for a sea swim with friends this morning- can back, ate lunch, and then zonked out on the sofa for four hours! When I woke up hubby was sat on the floor next to me because I'd spread out so much I'd pushed him off the sofa! Is anyone else sleeping for England?

megarobotdiscoparty · 11/04/2015 20:19

swimming pretty sure if I went for a sea swim not pregnant I'd have a four hour kip after! That's impressive stuff. Bit nippy though?? I am definitely starting to feel tired but preggo insomnia is a bigger symptom at the moment. Struggling to stay asleep past dawn. Early nights on the cards - may as well get used to them!

Daisy that sounds hopeful. Are you feeling ok otherwise? I'm getting quite uncomfortable cramps but they seem to come and go. Knicker watch = all clear so far though.

aletea · 11/04/2015 21:22

I'm not feeling ace this avo, pretty down tbh. I've started getting weird pingy pains, different to the sort of expected period cramps that are normal for early pregnancy. Added with this feeling like this pregnancy isn't like my others I'm kinda getting myself into a position where I don't expect it to stay the course.

Glenpip77 · 11/04/2015 21:38

So sorry to read your updates alpha and morecakes. I know from experience that the waiting game is the worst! fx that all turns out well.

That sounds promising daisy - fx it was just a late implantation bleed x

After having a mini freak out yesterday about my few symptoms disappearing I'm absolutely shattered again today - I even went to bed 30 mins after my daughter at 7.30 just to get my feet up Grin

claremccrory59 · 11/04/2015 22:19

Hi ladies,
My due date is 9th December - 1st round ivf after 5 years TTC. Hope
The wee things sticks around!!
Boobs have been very tender and quite a few uterine twinges.
So far I've had 3 nights out sober - it's so boring watching people drinking for +5 hours!!
Anybody else conceive through IVF on here? Suppose it doesn't make any difference how we conceived does it?!
Cx

goneswimming · 11/04/2015 22:23

Hi Clare, we've got a tiny miracle happening here... We were due to start iui and then ivf if that didn't work- but much to our shock we appear to have done it alone! Fingers crossed it sticks, I'm so nervous and can't stop thinking about everything that could happen.

Clare so many congrats!! We were having IUI when we got our BFP - although conceived on a month treatment break which was a real shock. This will be DC2 if all goes to plan - DS1 conceived via IUI after 2 years ttc. Fx for sticky ones all round.

Woken by cramps in the night here but still no blood - don't remember this from last time! Bit freaked out. Is it normal?

Have been thinking of all our ladies with bleeding. Sending calm thoughts and Fx for good news Flowers

Nice to hear your miracle stories - no matter how they're conceived they're all miracles aren't they!
I've had quite a lot of strange cramps down below - more so at night time or if I stand up too quickly. I think things are just moving around and the uterus is growing.
Positive thoughts for all the ladies having difficulties this weekend. Cx

Check out this chart for daily odds of m/c. It's keeping me sane!

ineedsomeinspiration · 12/04/2015 08:06

Flowers for morecake and alpha, hope you've both got lots of support.

I'm not feeling so rough this morning after a fairly decent amount of sleep. Not looking forward to work Monday if I feel like I have been for the last few days.

HariboBrenshnio · 12/04/2015 08:11

Congratulations to those who've been through ivf and iui. I'm sure it's been a journey but so glad to see you here!!

My boobs are so tender, I'm a 34k so already big and DS has just stood on them and now I'm laid in bed again trying to get them to stop hurting! Im really dizzy as well but just happy to be pregnant so not really bothered about symptoms, I'm welcoming them!

Thinking of those ladies bleeding. I know you probably know but bleeding isn't always a bad thing, nor is cramping. When I MC'd I had no pain, bleeding, nothing. I only found out at my scan (not trying to scare anyone, just trying to give those worried some comfort - I hope!).

HariboBrenshnio · 12/04/2015 08:16

I'm worried Iv worried people now!
I'm trying to say that cramping could be a sign things are moving around and getting ready for baby so not a bad thing.

I also know lots of people who had bleeds and had healthy babies. If your worried though, your local EPU would probably scan you to check.

Really hope it's coming across as I'm trying to make it come across!

shinysparklythings · 12/04/2015 08:18

Welcome claire and congrats on your bfp! I use that website too, it's reassuring to see the % drop each day isn't it.

ineed hope you feel a bit better as the day goes on. My first day back at work tomorrow since bfp teacher on Easter hols really not looking forward to it in terms of morning sickness, but it means I'm growing a baby so in certainly not complaining!

I hope the ladies with bleeding yesterday are doing ok x

TerryTheGreenHorse · 12/04/2015 08:51

Don't worry Haribo making sense to me! Grin

megarobotdiscoparty · 12/04/2015 08:56

Thanks sparkle and haribo - definitely reassuring. Hope all have good Sundays planned - we are off to the park to meet SIL and nephew - hope rain holds off!
