FB discussions are things like

Bump pictures of particular stages
Discussions about prams
Discussions about car seats
Individuals asking about things they are particularly worried about
What people have bought so far and what they're planning to buy

Because each discussion is a separate thread it's a bit easier to talk about specific things.

I like this thread though for hearing the general news and how things are going.

sauvblanc21 · 24/03/2015 12:07

Oh I seeee - thanks Smile
May hop over there one day x

mspfan · 24/03/2015 12:31

Hi gooo. I've just friended you on fb as I'd like to join the group - my profile pic is me on a beach in a green dress and my cover photo has a tube train on it! Don't want to put my actual name on here...

aries92 · 24/03/2015 13:03

Hi everyone! This is my third time trying to post on here so fingers crossed it works this time... I've been lurking for months! According to my scan last week I'm 13+1 today (but conception dates add up to more like 14 and a half so we'll see as we go along!) so EDD is the 28th if someone could add me to the stats sheet please? It's my first and I'm 23 (tomorrow!)
gooo I'll add you on fb so you can add me to the group if that's ok?

Snowflake15 · 24/03/2015 13:10

sauv I tend to keep my tmi's for this thread, easier to discuss without my real name and face attached haha!!

Welcome to the new joiners! Think I've been a bit busted - mate at work just questioned why I wasn't drinking at the St Paddys do on thur! Managed to laugh it off but he's definitely not convinced!

misssmilla1 · 24/03/2015 13:19

God, I'm like a zombie today. I'm sleeping til about 3am when I have to get up to use the loo (every bloody night without fail...) and then I can't get back to sleep properly - it's like a waking sleep and any dreams are insane.

In other news my boobs have decided to take on a life of their own; I think they're growing but they've gone solid - I suspect new bras are a must, another new thing to buy!

THEworrywart · 24/03/2015 13:24

Same about the boobs miss I've never ever had boobs (aa) I'm now a B but they're getting bigger I've only just got new bras! My mum never had boobs till she first got preg now she's all boob.

ambientolf · 24/03/2015 13:31

I'm unbelievably tired today too. I've been in work since 6.45 and have college until 8 tonight so it's a long bloody day. Get me home to bed Sad

sauvblanc21 · 24/03/2015 13:33

Ooo so snow - no - one on fb thread knows you're snow on here, and vice versa?? Clever! One of the things that puts me off is I hate getting loads of notifications! Silly I know! Xx

GoooRooo · 24/03/2015 13:35

You can opt out of notifications, Sauv. I don't get any.

babybear9 · 24/03/2015 13:45

hello, i'm a little late to the party but I'd only just gone back to work from mat leave from my first when i discovered I was pregnant again so been juggling my little one just turning 1 last week, a full time job and morning sickness!

Hope everyone well and scans all gone well for everyone. I'm due Sept 19th (when my first will be exactly 18 months - yikes!)

TallulahPumpkin · 24/03/2015 13:46

Hello all,
I did jump aboard back on about thread 3 but didn't want to post too much until I'd got passed the 12 week scan successfully. Happy to say I'm back! And I see a lot of thread has passed in that time Grin.
How do I get onto the stats? EDD: 28/9/15, age 37, 1DS (3.5) (another older mummy due end of the month!) I've already got an October 'baby' so hoping this one will stick to the right month!

Anyone else still feeling rotten? I thought ms was supposed to subside about week 12 (I'm 13w1d) but I've been feeling worse. Fainted on train last week and feel really light-headed since. No energy, everything is an effort and can't sleep so really shattered. Did someone mention some kind of magic pillow?

ICantDecideOnAUsername · 24/03/2015 13:47

p.s. GooRoo FB request sent to join the group - thanks

SomewhereovertheRainbow02 · 24/03/2015 14:03

Think ill jump onto the facebook group too. cant do it in work so will probably try later.

Choccyhobnob · 24/03/2015 14:44

Gooo I've just friended you too

Toffeegirl39 · 24/03/2015 15:09

Welcome babybear ! My two older ones are 14 months apart, so if you have any questions fire away!
Tallulah I'm 17 weeks now and feeling 100% better than I was 2 weeks ago. Felt rotten up until about 14-15 weeks, so hold on!
Re. boobs, I have gone from 36c to what appears to be 40D ( need measuring) but strugglung to find non wired ones that I like and that actually hold me up!! Have people gone straight to nursing bras?? Do they support adequately??
Cheers!!

Meinthecorner · 24/03/2015 17:19

Scan today went well dated me at 30/09/15 which is what I thought. A very fidgety baby though sonographer found it difficult to pin it down!

Snowflake15 · 24/03/2015 17:34

sauv they do know but I hope they won't remember! Not much logic haha

DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/03/2015 17:39

Still waiting for my quad blood test on Tuesday, but then I have my 16 week appointment the next day!

Stanway · 24/03/2015 18:18

Toffeegirl, for the time being I've just bought bigger bras as couldn't face non underwired and don't think it's crucial at this stage... Bravissimo were brilliant re measuring and advice on pregnancy. Went from 32D to 30F! X

Jessica32 · 24/03/2015 18:26

I definitely think it's important to be measured. Lots of women wear the wrong size and that's even before being pregnant. They're so much more comfortable if they fit well and you can't always tell yourself. It's a bit like trying a size 5 shoe and thinking it's ok, not until you try a 6 you realise that's better. I agree Bravissimo are good, so are John Lewis, they are also properly trained.

misssmilla1 · 24/03/2015 18:37

I think my boobs are hurting because my size has changed, and I think a lot of that has to do with my back getting bigger (I can tell as jackets that are designed not to do up / are without buttons feel small across the back) Any other recommendations for bra fitting except John Lewis? Don't think there's any point me hitting up Bravissimo as I don't think I'll be a D

Toffeegirl39 · 24/03/2015 18:40

Thank you for advice. I'm finding the underwire cuts in now I'm flipping enormous a bit bigger in the tummy area. Anyone else suddenly hugepopped out?

Bippidee · 24/03/2015 18:51

Ugh. Bad afternoon here. Just missed out on a thing on eBay, which I really wanted. Also managed to put the grill on to cook DD's dinner instead of the oven, resulting in over cooked food. DH not home for ages, no other food in the house, looks like I'm not having dinner.

Waaaaaaaaah.

mrsdos · 24/03/2015 20:05

Oh Bippidee thats rubbish Sad

Mixed day for me today, feeling much better, and think I may have felt the Potato move (felt more like a fish flipping about low in my tummy rather than butterflies!) but then just before leaving the office my manager had to run off as his wife's waters broke at 31 weeks! Has slightly scared me ever so slightly! Confused
