I went to my gp when I was 4+5! He just asked me a bunch of question then said he would send the referral to the hospital and they would be in touch! I am 6+2 today and haven't heard anything yet! Guessing I'll hear around week 8-9 fingers crossed. It's weird thinking I'm newly pregnant and no one else has done a test or anything, I feel like I should be seeing someone to make it feel more real! Saying that a girl I work with who knows told me yesterday my noobs have grown! Feel like it's gonna be a long 6weeks keeping it quiet from a bunch of girls who are symptom spotters Smile

Focusfocus · 30/03/2015 11:22

Many thoughts going to mama and missmrsmummy. I had cramps yesterday and felt terrified for the while they lasted so I can't imagine anything beyond that, so many thoughts going your way.

BowiesJumper · 30/03/2015 11:26

I think it's probably just to put you in the system. I had a doc's appointment and she just weighed me, took my blood pressure, gave me a booklet and referred me to the midwives (ie got me in the system). It was all quite brief.

Bumpingalong84 · 30/03/2015 11:26

Annbag she is 13weeks now and no more bleeding so fingers crossed for her.

I am struggling to find a way to tell my best friend we are pregnant, they have been trying since sept, fell pregnant in feb and had a mc at 5weeks Sad I'm 6+2 now and just don't know how to tell her!! I know she will be happy but sad at the same time, they have tried really hard and it's happened super fast for us and I feel guilty! Any ideas?? I keep thinking I might wait till I am 8weeks! But feel I am lying to her somehow! Ahhh

Hi all, popping on from the ttc buses to say to Mama, I'm really hoping everything works out for you. Such a scary time. Please know the PD are all thinking of you. Sending a hug xxx

Bumpingalong84 · 30/03/2015 11:52

I don't know much about it Annbag it's a patients sister so I don't know her very well! But she was telling me she didn't actually know she was pregnant until she was 8 weeks, she is pregnant with twins and they hadn't spotted that on her scan at 9 weeks when she had the first bleed, only at 12 weeks they saw two babies!

Hope this pregnancy is smooth for you, that must have been terrifying, I'm panicking about a few brown smudges and pink streaks!

Fingers crossed for you miss and mama.

Good luck for the scan ash and is there someone else with a scan today too?

Mamama31 · 30/03/2015 12:12

Thanks Spinning and everyone! I appreciate your kind thoughts. Have spoke with GP and EPU, have a scan on weds morning. Just have to get through today and tomorrow!

halestone · 30/03/2015 12:40

Thinking of you Mama and MissMrs Thanks

Ash i hope your scan goes well and brings good newsThanks

I have had a horrific night with nausea and a migraine and a 2 year old Dd who has always had the philosphy that sleep is for the weak. When she did finally fall asleep in my bed she leaked through her nappy which meant a full change of bedding/nighty and flipping the mattress over so that was her up for another 1.5 hours.

Ann how did it go at your GPs?

Hi ladies I'm really sorry to say that EPU confirmed I miscarried at the weekend. I knew on sat so am not shocked just wanted it confirming. In myself I physically feel so much better. They said I was well and healthy. Obviously sad but on the positive side getting pregnant happened once and is now actually more likely to happen again and be ok.

I just want to say thank you to you all for so much support and wish you all so much luck for your future beans. I may check the thread to see how you're going from time to time. Smile

If someone could remove me from the list I'll come off the thread by tomo. Much love to you all ????xxx

Dixiebell · 30/03/2015 12:43

Just to say (in case anyone worrying!) I had low lying placenta with ds2, found at 20 weeks. Extra scan at 32 weeks confirmed it had moved up out of the way. The info they gave me said that happens in 95% of cases :)

BowiesJumper · 30/03/2015 12:43

So sorry to hear that ash. Take care of yourself.

Dixiebell · 30/03/2015 12:45

So sorry to hear that Ashboo, glad you are feeling better. Good luck for your future too x

I'm so sorry Ash I hope you have a good few days of TLC and taking it easy ahead. Flowers

Hope everyone else who is bleeding/spotting gets some answers soon. The waiting is just horrendous.

I've just booked a private scan for Thursday evening which I know is mad as we've already had 2 (one at 6 and one at 7 weeks) but I'll be 9+1 by then, and we are going on holiday next week and I just want to have some reassurance. I keep having random spotting, plus a bit of bleeding everynow and again. Unfortunately because we are away next week I just can't take the time off work this week to go and sit in EPU for several hours - especially as it isn't really an emergency, it's just me being really anxious.

I think DH thinks I have lost the plot but he's trying to be supportive...! We are going skiing next week with my parents, which will be lovely, but I'm not sure how much skiing I will actually do. I've been doing it since I was tiny so I'm not worried about hurting myself (i'll just take it easy and not do any remotely tricky runs!) but I think I actually just need a week of relaxing and a change of scenery. I find that I've been spending the past few weekends just holed up at home because I am so exhausted from getting through the week at work, I don't want to do anything or go anywhere. Not good for my anxiety I dont think, and I'm starting to be sick of the sight of our lovely house which isn't good.

Hope everyone else is doing well - looking forward to a 4 day week!

TakesTwoToTango · 30/03/2015 13:20
