MissMrs i can't see any harm in asking for bloods to be done, as waiting 10 days seems like such a long time not to know whats going on. It is upto the EPAU though as they know early pregnancy best and also their policies. I was just telling you what happened with me as that was another option you may like to investigate. I have everything crossed for youThanks

miss not in this pg but previously when I've wailed and cried on the doctor sufficiently my gp has done bloods for me to check the hcg levels when I was desperate for reassurance and it was too early to make a scan worthwhile.

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 04:33

Thank you hale and takestwo

I really feel it's too late now for this one, I've woken at 4am in pain and my boobs are no longer sore.

I will ask for bloods as soon as I get another BFP though as I will be dreading a repeat of this.

Best wishes to all of you for healthy and happy pregnancies and babies Smile thank you for your kind words and support xx

Mamama31 · 30/03/2015 07:11

Missmrs I'm so sorry to hear this, still hoping for a little miracle for you x

Lauramum23 · 30/03/2015 07:36

Miss mummy sorry to hear it's not a nice thing to go through , none of us are out of the danger zone tho yet. I had a misscarriage only last month at 7+5 weeks but I just thought well it wasn't meant to be still not nice tho. But now I'm pregnant without a period inbetween! Just take it one day at a time maybe it will turn out ok x

Mamama31 · 30/03/2015 07:38

My spotting is a lot darker this morning and heavier, I just don't think this is going to work out. Waiting for GP surgery to open so I can call doc. Have called in sick to work.

Bumpingalong84 · 30/03/2015 08:39

So sorry to hear that MissMrsMummy and

Bumpingalong84 · 30/03/2015 08:43

Mamama31 ill have my fingers crossed for you both. Also good luck with your scan today ash.

It's such a worrying time! I was speaking to someone at work who had a lot of bleeding and pain in early pregnancy and she said it was because she had a low laying placenta, she bled a lot at 8 weeks and 10 weeks and is now fine at 13 weeks with twins!! So fingers crossed for all of us spotting/bleeding Flowers

Mamama31 · 30/03/2015 08:57

Thanks Bumping.

Ash also thinking of you today x

cryingbabymess · 30/03/2015 09:02

Oh god Halestone I've used it twice and it's worked! I'll ask the MW at my booking in appointment in 15 mins! Ahhh!

SnozzberryPie · 30/03/2015 09:09

Sorry to hear things aren't going well missmrs and mamama.

I tested again this morning and had a much darker line I know because I kept the old one to compare. Boobs are feeling a bit sore today.

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 09:10

laura that's wonderful and has filled me with hope, wishing you all the best

mamama sorry it has worsened, I hope it's not a bad sign xx ask about the bloods as halestone said Flowers

MissMrsMummy · 30/03/2015 09:12

Good news snoz! Yay for sore boobies

Mamama31 · 30/03/2015 09:17

Missmrs yes I will just waiting on GP call. Hope your ok x

CishAndFips · 30/03/2015 09:24

for those asking about bonjela it is mot recommended in pregnancy (especialy late pregnancy) as it contains asprin. boots to a sore mouth gel that is ok to use apparantly

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 30/03/2015 09:42

Thinking of everyone with bleeding Flowers and hope you can all get some reassuring answers

All fine here but feel quite crap. Not been sick yet but seem to have other end issues Blush. Plus finding looking after dD and DS quite tiring

Have my booking in appointment on Wednesday. Then we are off to stay with family for Easter. Am really swithering about when to tell everyone. I would much prefer to have had an early reassurance scan but can't get booked in until after a Easter. Hmm.

CishAndFips · 30/03/2015 09:45

my booking in appointment is wednesday too gobbolino

Flowers to those bleeding and waiting on scans. I've been there and the waiting is the hardest part. Fx for you.

I'm 8 weeks today and feeling so much better. I was slightly worried about it as I've heard loss of symptoms can be a sign of bad news but I'm reassured reading this thread that it can be quite normal.

I used to need to eat to keep the nausea at bay but today eating is making me feel yuck but not enough to stop me eating. I'm glad it's reversed though as I was eating huge amounts and put loads of weight on already!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 30/03/2015 10:42

Thinking of everyone who is going through worrying times.

I have had my booking in appointment confirmed for Thursday, it will be nice to actually be doing something other than hanging around and waiting! Off work today with a hideous cough/cold so trying to rest and get on with some knitting for the little pea :)

TwoBeesInTheHive · 30/03/2015 10:50

I've got a horrible head cold on top of feeling nautious all the time. felt so bad yesterday dh let me stay in bed til 12! I wasn't sleeping, was too snotty, but it was nice to just have a few hours to lay in bed and not deal with kids.
how is everyone dealing with the sickness? I'm only 6 weeks and struggling already. don't know how I'm going to cope if it gets any worse or lasts another 6ish weeks! Sad

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 30/03/2015 10:55

bees - I'm coping by eating quantities of not very healthy food. Which is Not. Good. Bee went out for a walk yesterday and my coat felt really tight - eeuurrgh

I'm just going to try my best to get through to 12 weeks when I know I should feel a bit better and then try and get eating and exercise sorted out

BowiesJumper · 30/03/2015 10:59

Morning all. Fingers crossed for everyone who has had bleeding. I hope it all works out.

I haven't had any spotting for over a week which is encouraging, but apart from the odd tiny twinge in my abdomen, and peeing a fair bit, I haven't got many other symptoms, which of course is now worrying me! I'm ridiculous. Haha.

I've got my booking in tomorrow. I'm sure the midwife will roll her eyes at that worry! My sister said, if there's a pile of cups in the waiting room - do a sample ahead of time whilst you wait, they'll love you as it saves faffing about peeing in the middle of the appointment. Not sure if they'll have a pile of cups though!

thatduck · 30/03/2015 11:02

I have an appointment with the doctor this afternoon, but I don't really know what it's for. I rang the surgery and told the
I was pregnant and asked what I needed to do next and she made me an appointment with the doctor, I told her I was only 4 weeks (now 5) so I don't know if this is normal? Any experience ladies?
