So my SIL asked if I was pregnant so had to tell them and they're really happy for us Grin can't wait for my niece to have a cousin! Smile

CoffeeTwo · 29/03/2015 14:53

MissMrs keeping everything crossed for you.

Fingers crossed for your scan ash

I'm 5+3 today by my own calculations or 6+1 by lmp. I've booked a private scan for 2 weeks tomorrow because I'm anxious to know how things are progressing. I'm quite crampy with occasional stabby or stitch like pain. I remember being crampy with my last pregnancy but I wish I could remember if it felt the same.

Also feeling nauseous on and off. One minute I'm off food altogether and the next I'm ravenous!

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2015 15:23

mama think they said earliest scan could be 6 was but still might not show anything

Thanks for the well wishes everyone

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2015 15:24

*6 weeks sorry!

ashboo76 · 29/03/2015 15:40

Unfortunately mine was exactly like a period with period cramps on thu and today although I feel really well after 3 days of feeling awful I don't feel pregnant at all all symptoms disappeared even the going to the loo urge. Prepared for the bad news tomo but yes like you say as long as it happened once it should happen again xxxx be strong everyone else it's all we can do Smile

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2015 16:11

Thinking of you ashboo hope they can see something x

SnozzberryPie · 29/03/2015 17:55

Hello all, mind if I join you? I got my bfp yesterday and think my due date is 1st December, but dd was born a few weeks early so will probably have a November baby. This will be dc2 if all goes well.

Sorry to hear about people having spotting and bleeding. I have had a small amount of spotting but had it on and off throughout my last pregnancy so am not too worried.

I am feeling shattered but that could be down to looking after a poorly toddler...

MissMrsMummy · 29/03/2015 17:58

Congratulations snozzberry! Fx all goes well for you Smile

cityrat79 · 29/03/2015 18:54

Thursday, Friday and Saturday - dreadful nausea and vomiting. Eat practically nothing. Extreme tiredness. Wonder how on earth I'm going to get through the next 8 months.

Today: feel a little bit better, have a couple of decent meals and therefore totally worried there's something wrong with the baby, as symptoms have lessened.

Yes, I'm an idiot...

Focusfocus · 29/03/2015 19:22

Mismrsmummy so sorry shout the bleeding. I hope a scan gives you the results you want. Un mumsnet hugs to everyone bleeding and cramping

halestone · 29/03/2015 19:39

Ash, FX for tomorrows scan i hope it goes well. I'm thinking of youThanks

MissMrsMummy if you can't get a scan ask for bloods to be done to check for HCG levels. You will need 2 blood tests to be done 48 hours apart. I had very early bleeding and went to the EPAU, by LMP i should of been alot further along than i was but got a late BFP. When i had the scan they could see nothing so did bloods and explained that they needed to rise by 60% in 48 hours for there to be a viable pregnancy. Luckily they rose and i went back for a scan later and have another scan on Thursday to make sure things are hopefully still progressing.

I have had an awful migraine today, Dp has left me in bed to sleep it off. Hes a gooden sometimes. Grin

Missmrs yes I thought 6 wks would be the earliest they would scan. How are you feeling now?

Congrats snozzberry and welcome. I'm hoping my spotting is going to disappear soon, it's really worrying me a lot but interesting that you have had that previously and been fine :)

Mamama31 · 29/03/2015 19:42

halestone hope your migraine clears off asap! I'm sure that's a pain!

City rat I'm the same, if I feel Ok I think something is wrong!
food is the devil at the moment, just don't fancy anything really (most unlike me!) just feel slightly sick all the time Envy

Crumbelina · 29/03/2015 20:21

Cityrat Smile

Weeks 7-8 were pretty good for me and my nausea really subsided. Cue lots of worrying. It's back with a vengeance now in week 10 - bleurgh! Sad Symptoms can definitely come and go, so make the most of it! Smile

BlueBananas · 29/03/2015 20:25

Fingers crossed for everyone with bleeding and/or cramping, hopefully there will be positive outcomes all round

Crumbelina · 29/03/2015 20:28

Fingers crossed MissMrs and Ash. It's a worrying time but we'll be thinking of you.

halestone · 29/03/2015 20:42

I forgot to say welcome to the new BFP's and CongratulationsThanks

My friend has just asked me to go out for another friends surprise 30th which would be a spa day and lots of alcohol. I felt like crap saying no i hate letting people down, but i work weekends and i am technically self employed even though i work for someone else. So i need to make sure i'm not off work much so i can get a decent maternity allowance. I told her i couldn't but couldn't explain why yet, luckily she was great about it.

6 weeks today wooo Grin 6 more weeks til scan! Envy that seems like forever! well after yesterday I decided to just announce it so everyone knows. pretty sure alot of people have heard through the grape vine so now atleast I know everyone knows and I'm not stressing out wondering if people know or not. obviously its alot earlier than I'd have liked to tell people but oh well. here's hoping nothing goes wrong.

TakesTwoToTango · 29/03/2015 21:11

annbag you can take paracetamol to reduce the fever (I believe it's recommended to keep a fever under control in early pg if you can).

Huge hugs to all the other bleeders and good luck for the scans tomorrow.

Still spotting here, but resigned to the fact I may be in it for the long haul. Will have a follow up appointment hopefully in a week or two at 8 or 9 weeks.

cryingbabymess · 29/03/2015 21:13

So I got bonjela today for my mouth ulcer. Just reading the information and says if I'm pregnant to check with pharmacist.....I know you guys aren't pharmacists (or not that I'm aware of!) but is it ok to use? It's helped already and only put it on once.

halestone · 29/03/2015 21:19

crying i remember some type of scandal a few years ago surrounding bonjela and young children so if it was me i would be hesistant to use it and would probably ask the Pharmacist tomorrow.

AnnThanks i hope your feeling better soon and that the Dr prescribes something that helps.

Two sorry you had to tell everyone earlier than you wanted. Thanks

halestone thanks for your reply. Should I have asked epu for the bloods? Is it too late now? I have had quite a bit of bleeding, like a period, cramps as well x
