Lake and Work, so sorry for your losses, I can't imagine how utterly devastating that must've been.

Today's a bit of a funny day for me, have a 10 wk scan tomorrow which I'm looking forward to and dreading equally, but today is the due date of my first pregnancy that ended last Sept with an ERPC after a missed MC. I'm so grateful to be pregnant again obviously, and it's making things a little easier to handle, but I just wanted to mark the day in a very small way on here, with you ladies, who'll understand. I don't think anyone we told about that pregnancy will remember that this was the date, and don't think DH will either - busy at work with a new job etc. It's just not a date I can forget, even if I wanted to.

So, sending out love to you my little bean, wherever you are, gone but never forgotten.

Hope everyone else is doing well, lovely to see all the great scan pics.

batfish · 24/03/2015 12:03

Aww whoknew hope you are feeling OK today and I'm your sure little bean that you sadly lost will be looking down on you and his/her little sibling. Not a date you will ever forget I'm sure. Good luck for your scan tomorrow, I'm sure everything will be perfect.

batfish · 24/03/2015 12:37

I feel like I'm getting impatient waiting for something to happen. u don't look pregnant, I don't feel pregnant, it feels too early to be looking at or buying baby stuff. Just all very odd! Thought pregnancy would feel a bit more magical somehow haha been watching too many films

worksallhours · 24/03/2015 13:40

Oh, whoknew ... you have my thoughts today. Flowers

My former due date is a fortnight away, and I am a bit nervous about the thought of it. I doubt anyone else will remember and somehow I think that could be for the best.

But then ... I am aware I am being a bit reticent. DH and I don't want to tell anyone (parents know though) about our new pregnancy for a very long time. I am actually wondering if I could get to 30 weeks in total secrecy. Grin

Obviously, I will have to tell work at 15 weeks, but I could swear my boss to silence.

Choccywoccydodah · 24/03/2015 13:50

lake I am totally gutted for you. I can't imagine having to go though that. My dh's Aunty had a still born little girl, I don't know how she got through it. But she now has 2 lovely daughters (all grown up now), but she'll never forget. My heart goes out to you x

whoknew your angel baby will be spurring you on sweetheart. Today is a hard day but you have that new life growing inside you that you'll soon get to see!

Thankfully of the 8 I lost, one of them was not due in October as we had last February off trying after losing number 3 last January. So this one will not have to share a due date with any I lost. My first was due last July and when I hit my due date I just couldn't believe I was there and still not pregnant. And I do still think I should have an 8 month old by now, but actually things have worked out really well with Ds going to school this year.
Angel babies will never be forgotten

Choccywoccydodah · 24/03/2015 13:53

Lol Batfish at not feeling pregnant. I didn't show with DS at all until about 24 weeks, but not really until 30 was it noticeable with clothes on. It's hard to imagine a little person in there when you can't actually see anything but the kicks when they come are reassuring :)

whoknew28 · 24/03/2015 14:06

Thanks batfish and works. It's just sad, but admittedly a lot easier being pregnant again. Although know what you mean batfish, looking forward to a bump and feeling kicks etc, it's all a bit nothing at the moment!

Works, I'm going to keep it secret at work for as long as poss too, think i have to tell them before 24 weeks. Two friends of mine know in the office, but not my boss. He doesn't like women who go off to have kids, so I'm hoping to get a promotion before I tell him... Can't believe his attitude can still exist in 2015, but it's alive and well where I work!

whoknew28 · 24/03/2015 14:09

Thanks Choccy, you've been through so much, hugely admire your strength to keep going and not give up!

batfish · 24/03/2015 14:17

Aargh choccy I can't wait until 24 weeks before I feel pregnant! Want it now! [stamps feet] I'm already getting a little nervous about next week's scan thinking surely I should be noticing something by now. But then I remind myself that I was utterly convinced my baby had died before my 9 week scan and it was all just me being silly. I just feel like I've been pregnant for an eternity already and can't believe there is nothing to show for it! Fast forward a few months and I'll be wondering why the hell I was ever complaining about my flat yeah right stomach and lack of tiredness!

Choccywoccydodah · 24/03/2015 14:24

Tee hee hee Batfish sorry! I'll find some pics hang on....

Choccywoccydodah · 24/03/2015 14:25

24, 26 and 32 weeks x

Choccywoccydodah · 24/03/2015 14:26

35 and 39 weeks x

Adventuregame · 24/03/2015 14:53

Choccy that's a neat bump !
Think I'll wait til my 12 week scan go ahead and then start a bump pic !

Stinkersmum · 24/03/2015 14:54

Oh my, you were tiny! Smile

Adventuregame · 24/03/2015 15:01

Choccy I'm feeling guilty about the chocolate bar I just ate after seeing how skinny you managed to stay !! Right - healthier eating from now on !!

Choccywoccydodah · 24/03/2015 15:29

Grin adventure! Go ahead, eat the chocolate bar, when else do you have an excuse??
I'm not expecting to stay as neat this time, less muscle tone now lol!

Choccywoccydodah · 24/03/2015 15:31

And ds came out 8/13 btw after them sending me me for a growth scan about 36 weeks saying he would be small Hmm

batfish · 24/03/2015 16:29

Wow choccy you had nearly a 9 pounder in there?! You look fantastic! Right now I feel like I want to get absolutely humongous just for the novelty factor but then I remembered that it probably isn't all that fun not being able to fit behind the wheel of your car and I'm only 5ft 2 so don't carry extra weight well either. I'm already a lot fatter than I want to be and can't even blame baby yet!

flipflump · 24/03/2015 16:55

I've been having a bit of brown discharge, no cramps, slightly uncomfortable but due to stretching I think. Should I ignore or do something? No red blood or severe cramps.

Choccywoccydodah · 24/03/2015 17:29

Lol Batfish :) I'm 5'8" so slightly taller so assume that helped.

Flipflump do not ignore it! Phone your mw and tell her. How far are you? Ask for a scan, as it is brown everything is probably bedding in etc, but please do not ignore any bleeding x

flipflump · 24/03/2015 17:35

Wasn't sure if I was being a bit precious. I'm 9+4, haven't been booked in get and don't have any numbers. GP surgery is closed now.

Stinkersmum · 24/03/2015 17:41

flipflump I've had 2 separate episodes of a brown 'show' - at about 6 weeks and again at 8 weeks. I had a scan a few days ago (I'm 10 weeks today) and all is well. Please don't stress too much - as long as it's brown - not red - and not too heavy there shouldn't be anything much to worry about. It could just be old blood being disposed of as your uterus expands. Smile if you get any change in colour to red or start cramping painfully speak to your gp or epu.

Choccywoccydodah · 24/03/2015 17:55

Personally I'd ring someone, I had brown with ds and spent the whole time stressing about it, you can't not. Yes it's prob nothing, but once I'd seen him and all was fine I felt relieved, but you do need to phone. It's not precious in the slightest, it's part of being a concerned parent! If you can, go online and find a number for your EPU/EPAU/Gynae and ask their advice. They'll prob be shut now until the morning.

flipflump · 24/03/2015 18:27

Thank you for advice, I've given them a ring. I've to sit tight, if it gets heavier or pain becomes worse I've to call back.

gingerbreadmam · 24/03/2015 18:44

flipflump i had a proper bleed last sunday. just sat on the sofa and felt something wet come out dashed to toilet and bright red blood with a small clot. bled a bit like a nose bleed on the evening then light blood when wiping through the night and next morning. was scanned 2 days later and baby was completely fine, healthy good heart beat rolling around. try not to worry. if u want reassurance you could speak to epu, they will get you in for a scan if concerned.

i had an mmc last year and all the thoughts on brown blood were that is old blood and should be fine especially if you dont have cramps.

hope ur ok know how worrying it can be Thanks
