So here we are with the third thread, hope you all find it!

Can't stop looking at the scan picture. I hope others have positive scans too!

Gaggiagirl, going by my last period I was 12 weeks on my scan date. They've changed my due date from the 2nd October to the 6th.

Ca55, glad the sickness has eased. I know, I was really surprised by the clarity (this was the best of the 5 we got). Baby was even waving it's arms around during the scan. Both my DH and I thought separately that we can see that baby has DH's nose! Crazy! Amazing!

thanks for the support guys. *Choccy thanks for the reading material. I think she was saying it with particular ref to vaginal scans, but I also think its a load of rubbish.
Toast Im a paramedic lol, close gaggia! I dont know who did the workload before me but it serously only takes about an hour so I'm sat trying to look busy for the rest of the time! I've already asked for extra work but there isn't any! eek!

Kezod it's really wrong that's she's scaring people like that when it's absolute rubbish! With you being 9 weeks, it would be an abdo scan anyway!

Have to go to the hospital phlebotomists for bloods though as I'm completely vein deficient!

I don't have mine til 11+5!! I'm 8+6 today and due to to my trial I couldn't phone to be booked until my 8 week scan so that's the earliest they can get me in now!
They've been having to take blood out of the back of my hand as I've had so much taken at 3,4,5,6, and 8 weeks so far! They managed to find a vein Tuesday but it was slow lol!

I went the shops after work wanting some more spring-like clothes for holiday next week, trying to work out what I can buy that will look nice now AND in a coupled months time when I will hopefully have a noticeable bump. So I've gone for a couple of looser, longer floaty tops which will work with my jeans now and either maternity jeans or leggings and a bump band a little further down the line. Hopefully that will work as I can't afford to keep updating my wardrobe!

Had my second scan tonight. All is well! Dates have gone back at week, dr thinks by the size I'm 9+4. It does make sense considering I has no clue when I ovulated and didn't get my BFP until 6 days past AF being due :). Actually looks a bit like a baby - it was waving it's hand

Maternit21 is the blood test to detect t21,18 & 13. It can be done at 10 weeks. Tbh, the results will definitely influence whether my pregnancy continues of not so pretty important to me.

That sounds the same as the Harmony test. Think we will have that done too if we get that far.

Yay stinkers so happy all is well after your scares. Do you get the test done as standard or is it something you're requesting?

Thanks batfish! It's something the dr suggested. I guess it's all money to them, but I am also 39 so risk of abnormalities is higher. If there was a problem I would consider termination, so for me it's worth it. There will be an NT scan as well, but I quite like the belt and braces approach!

I'm having nuchal scan on 1st April, I didn't really ask what they test for and how so will check when I go in.

Hi Ladies, not been on for a while due to work. My booking appointment isn't till 1st April, I'll be 9 + 4 by then. My scan isn't till 24th April, which I'll be 12 + 6. Seems ages away. DP is bursting to tell everyone bless him, but I want to make sure everything is ok. Still feeling sick, tired and have no energy. So housework is piling up

Hi Nutella just to make you feel better, I'm 9 + 5 today and yesterday for the first time I managed housework and cooked a mammoth meal AND did a dog walk! This morning I woke up feeling amazing and full of energy (although now I feel like crap again and all the old feelings have returned) but there is hope, I think it must be petering off a bit. My scan is 7th April so a few weeks to go but it feels like forever doesn't it? x

I cooked an actual dinner today for the first time since my bfp! Yay I did it.

That does make me feel better Ladypug. Thank you. I've managed to do some dishes, and get some soup, whilst running to the bathroom. I think mines evening sickness
Now back in bed relaxing
