Becca83 · 03/03/2015 12:52

I'll use both, so can keep in touch with everyone Smile

ditzzy · 03/03/2015 12:57

Scan all good Grin she didn't manage to get a proper NT measurement though, when she tried it came up as 1.4 but she said she couldn't put it in full confidence so would send me for blood tests at 15 weeks instead.

Measured as due date 4th September (7 week scan put it at 6th and LMP at 9th!) I think I must be growing a giraffe in there...

Very sleepy baby, refused to move much even when she asked me to jiggle around lots but eventually waved at us right at the end - the sonographer reckoned baby was picking it's nose Grin

shinjuku09 · 03/03/2015 13:06

Guavasforbreakfast I had bleeding at about 12-13 weeks with DD. Mine didn't actually show up anywhere when I had a scan but she said it was pretty normal around that time and wasn't at all worried. Think she mentioned it could be something about the placenta implanting (may be totally wrong about that) or she said it can even by caused by the foetus kicking ferociously!

shinjuku09 · 03/03/2015 13:07

I'll still be posting on here the same amount as I did before. I'm on Facebook more often so will likely be more active there, but joining group on Facebook won't actually make me post less on here!

Lovelybitofsquirrel · 03/03/2015 14:24

About to go for my scan, so nervous!

Mummyboo30 · 03/03/2015 14:31

Good luck squirrel!

Tallalime · 03/03/2015 14:40

afternoon all. I still have another week to wait for my scan, I am definitely fatter but that is my only symptom. I am getting more and more nervous about it Sad

Choccyhobnob · 03/03/2015 14:54

Good luck Squirrel! I have my scan in the morning, 9am, so nervous too!

Treaclepie19 · 03/03/2015 15:01

I'm with you Talla :(
15 days til my scan and I'm 11+2 today.
Keep thinking I'm nearly 12 weeks but it really doesn't matter when my scan isn't til 13+3 :/

Midwife appointment was fine although took AGES and my three year old was getting antsy. Got my scan date - 18th March. Seems ages away :(

GoooRooo · 03/03/2015 15:42

Good luck squirrel!

ditzzy · 03/03/2015 15:58

Finally back home from scan appointment, they managed to squeeze me in to the consultants clinic this afternoon too, so I'm happy with having waited around. They do seem very distractedly busy though, they actually wrote the wrong blood group on my notes originally too, it was only because I commented that I'd had a letter about lack of rubella immunity that they realised that were copying off the wrong results for everything.

Pic attached! The sonographer reckons baby is nose-picking, I reckon it's more of a wave Grin

Mummyboo30 · 03/03/2015 17:06

Looks like more of a thumb suck to me ditzzy surely there can't be anything in the nose to pick anyway!

Treaclepie19 · 03/03/2015 17:09

Mines the same day Goo, we can count down together!
Lovely pic dittzy, I agree baby looks like they're thumb sucking :)

Mines the 18th as well

ditzzy · 03/03/2015 17:26

Thanks ladies Grin I can't quite believe how much he's grown since the last scan, 74 mm now compared to 14 mm 5 weeks ago Grin

Interestingly having seen the scan today, my mind is automatically saying 'he' - I'm sure I was saying 'she' yesterday!!

mrsdos · 03/03/2015 17:42

Ditzzy in our scan pic the baby has its hand to its face.We said it looks as though its making a funny face at us as the sonographer really struggled to get any measurements! It's amazing how much/quick they grow at least it makes feeling rubbish worth it

ditzzy · 03/03/2015 17:44

Oddly enough I've forgotten all about feeling rubbish. Just feel like grin again now Grin

shinjuku09 · 03/03/2015 18:47

That's fab ditzzy and a lovely photo too

Lovelybitofsquirrel · 03/03/2015 18:48

Thanks for all the good lucks!
Scan went well, one baby (phew!), heart beating. Due date moved back 4 days so I'm now due 16.09. On the app so can't add pic and please can someone update me on the spreadsheet?

Maths88 · 03/03/2015 19:38

So pleased to hear all the happy news today! Got my scan tomorrow evening and hoping I'll have some happy news to add myself!

Teacher people are you planning on telling your colleagues? To be honest if tomorrow goes well then I want to shout it from the roof top but I'm not sure whether it's too soon to tell everyone? I know it seems so silly thing to worry about but I'm not sure what the done thing is. Any thoughts?

SpamAnderson · 03/03/2015 20:04

Bleurgh :( Feel really ropey :( For the last week or so I've had a really plegmy chest combined with a nasty tickly cough and sneezing :( Tonight my nose and eyes are burning along with it :( I miss my lemsip and Beechams all in one. Went to the pharmacy and they said all that was safe to take was........ honey. Woe, woe is me ;)

banterbus · 03/03/2015 20:28

I had my booking in appt today. The midwife even found a heartbeat and I got to record it on my phone. Feels so real now!

Lovelybitofsquirrel · 03/03/2015 20:44

Maths I'll be telling soon as they'll be starting to look at the timetable for next year soon enough. Plus I won't be able to fit in my normal clothes much longer!
