Thanks for setting that up Gooo, I've added you as a friend Smile

BeautyBoo · 02/03/2015 23:16

Suz I'm so sorry to hear your news Flowers

DoNotDenyMe · 03/03/2015 00:03

Thanks Goo, I've also just sent friend request.

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 03/03/2015 03:56

I don't think I'm ready for Facebook yet, sure I will be eventually... just after all the embarrassing bits of pregnancy are over - hope you don't all leave me here talking about vom and no sex on my lonesome Grin

My scan is at 9am and I'm starting to feel anxious, sleep has deserted me!

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 03/03/2015 06:09

Good luck for this morbing, havetea !

sauvblanc21 · 03/03/2015 06:15

I'm staying here for the time being havetea, I like the anonymity! Hopefully a few others will stick around too Wink Good luck this morning xx

THEworrywart · 03/03/2015 07:13

Had a terrible day yesterday took myself off bed rest to go shopping with a friend she wanted to buy me a congrats gift and I decided to faint and get the shakes - suffer from severely low bp prior to pregnancy but it's worse now.

Also is anyone who's now in second trimester still getting 'period-like' pain?

getoffthecoffeetable · 03/03/2015 07:14

Good luck for the scan havetea

THEworrywart · 03/03/2015 07:16

Good luck to everyone having scans today Flowers

I hope people won't just use Facebook now I don't use social network :(

Snowflake15 · 03/03/2015 07:41

Morning! Sheepishly commuting with my badge on, fingers crossed! Anyone else waking up with a mouth like the Sahara, despite drinking water through the night? The tasteEnvy

whereswaldo · 03/03/2015 07:54

I'm staying here for now, scan in 9 days. Can't help feeling worried as not had a reassurance scan and missed miscarriages seem more common on here than in RL...

SpamAnderson · 03/03/2015 08:08

sangria I won't be going over for a while yet :) I'm in it but don't plan on using it yet :)

Treaclepie19 · 03/03/2015 08:11

I'll be staying here too :)
Scan is another 2 weeks and 1 day away... :/

I have the second half of my booking in appointment with my midwife this morning. I have no idea why it was split into two appointments - it's a right pain. STILL no sign of a scan date and I'm 10 + 1.

Treaclepie19 · 03/03/2015 08:20

Have you phoned them Goo?
I had to ring them at 10+5 as I'd heard nothing and she told me on the phone.

I'm staying here for now too! I might migrate to facebook at some point, but I'm happier here for now. I can also check this more easily during the day than I can fb.

Scan today (hopefully really this time), starting to get nervous, but half excited at the same time. DP has managed to take the morning off, so at least we can go together.

Wearing maternity leggings for the first time today, I'm sure the sonographer will laugh at me as they're ever so comfortable, but do have a big stretchy bit at the top for the bump to fill up, which is currently ruckled and looking very empty Grin

GoooRooo · 03/03/2015 08:38

No not yet Treaclepie - will ask the midwife about it this morning. The appointment is in the same place as the scans so she should be able to check hopefully.

Good luck today ditzzy!

TheMidnightHour · 03/03/2015 09:56

suz so sorry to hear your news.

goo I sent you a PM, then read the rest of the thread so added you too! Hope that's OK.

Think it will be easier to have threaded comments, which FB provides as we talk about so many different things. Will keep up with this thread too though can't imagine it would go quiet! :)

monkeymoonpig · 03/03/2015 10:00

snowflake yes, unbelievably dry mouth, horrible! Tho have a banging headache today so suspect im a little dehydrated. Pint glasses of water regularly topped up today methinks.

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 03/03/2015 10:23

Wow...I picked up a 'baby on board' badge from the station the other day but had already ordered one online. Just came in an envelope with 'BABY ON BOARD', 'MIND THE BUMP' plastered all over it.

Now, I thought the whole point of the BOB badge was to make you more visible but particularly during the 'fat or pregnant' stage. I can't be the only person who has ordered one before 12 weeks so find it a bit daft that they aren't a little more discreet with their packaging. Am I expecting too much? Thank god we don't live in a flat/shared house etc where other people see the post!

THEworrywart · 03/03/2015 10:53

I feel like people don't pay attention to packaging especially postmen I hope they don't anyway I receive regular letters with 'eating disorder services' or 'Liverpool mental health services' stamped all over the bloody envelope. It's daft.

mrsdos · 03/03/2015 11:49

I think it depends who sees your post, we live above a salon where a family member works and had some mothercare stuff arrive in the new year sales (yes keen to buy but the prices were low!) and considering they often send post up to us which is for someone else she was quick to notice mothercare in tiny letters!
I am dreading this afternoon at work, having a few on going issues with manager which I have spoken to upper management about.. one of the directors has taken him for a coffee and a chat out of the office Hmm so I am hoping he doesn't have another go later!

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 03/03/2015 12:03

Well everything was fine at the scan, was in for ages as bean was constantly turning and flipping and she couldn't gets the angle for nt measurement. Did eventually and was 1.4 which I think is average?

SomewhereovertheRainbow02 · 03/03/2015 12:25

Everything looked well at my scan today. Measuring 13 weeks exactly and due 8th September.
Baby was very lazy until the end where he had a little wriggle and rubbing his eyes. So Cute Smile

Mummyboo30 · 03/03/2015 12:27

Hi all, sorry I've been awol for a few days, only just found the time to catch up.
Sorry for your news Suz.
havetea that sounds like a good measurement, mine was 1.9 and she said that was nothing to worry about at all.
Goo I pm'd you when I got to that bit of the thread, sorry I didnt read on further first! I don't really use fb that much, and have an alias profile so that RL people can't find me on there!
Hope everyone is doing ok today, all good here although I'm definitely ready to break out the dream genii at bedtime. 14w today!
