I'm 11wks and I have def felt a few movements

Cornberry · 25/02/2015 23:46

I thought I felt something a couple of weeks ago (now 14 weeks) and looked it up and everything said it wasn't possible to feel anything this early if it's your first, and it's probably wind! When I had my scan I discovered the baby was miles south of where I imagined, like just above your pube line! When I saw how much it was moving during the scan I realised I couldn't feel a bloody thing. Bit disappointed but apparently should start to feel something from 17-20 weeks.

Tallalime · 25/02/2015 23:53

Evening Grin

I would like to post a bump pic but I don't have a bump so much as flab - I'd kind of like it to change from a 'too much cake' bump to a baby bump asap Wink

I am 35, DH is 36 we've been together for 17 years. Married for 4 years in April. DD is 7.

We really need to get her 'unbastardised' apparently its the law who knew otherwise, technically, this baby (being all legitimate and all) trumps her should anything happen to us. This is all news to meBlush

Hare5260 · 26/02/2015 05:34

Whatabout lol no, not a Viking, our donor is from Brighton and has 2 children of his own. I did watch The Vikings are Coming, but only because the lesbian couple, Anna and Kel, are friends of ours and they mentioned it....a lot! A UK donor was more expensive but probably easier to locate when baby is 18 (if s/he wants to) than one in Scandinavia!

Morning! Just on my way to work, the directors have their annual salary and promotions meeting today. Seriously crossing my fingers for a promotion as if it doesn't happen this year then I can't imagine it happening for another two given maternity leave. Been busting a gut over the past year so not being unreasonable in hoping!

THEworrywart · 26/02/2015 07:17

Morning!
Haven't slept a wink, dreading going for my scan later on when I should be excited! Pretending im prepared for bad news but I'm not.

lastnight good luck hope you get your promotion!

Chuch21 · 26/02/2015 07:28

Good luck worry Flowers

Had a dream the baby started protruding through my stomach, it was very alien-esque!

Maths88 · 26/02/2015 07:41

Good luck worry.

I had a really bad nights sleep and no idea why! Luckily as its half term and my guests have gone home I can rest today. Got a maternity clothes delivery today - I don't need them yet but wanted to be organised!

Treaclepie19 · 26/02/2015 07:48

Good luck today worry :)

I can't wait to get my scan date through. I want to be able to tell everyone. Although I must say, close family and friends already know.

chuch I've had almost non symptoms at all except tiredness (which is thankfully starting to wane a bit!) boobs weren't even that sore to begin with. They've been completely back to normal since about 11 weeks! My scan came back absolutely fine, no problems at all. So try not to worry, jus feel lucky! Grin

Mummyboo30 · 26/02/2015 08:03

Good luck worry hoping everything goes well for you!

BeakyAndBun · 26/02/2015 08:06

Good luck Worry- I lost most of my symptoms from week 10 onwards btw. You'll be fine!

Jessica32 · 26/02/2015 08:14

Church I'm 11+3 today. My boobs do still hurt but not as much as they did. They have been complete agony! I have felt sick a lot (though thankfully not actually been) and that is definitely improving So symptoms easing for me. The tiredness is still terrible though.

Worry good luck. I'm sure everything will go well and you will feel amazing later.

Jessica32 · 26/02/2015 08:17

Church correction 10+3 today! Getting ahead of myself/ baby brain/knackered

Boodlymummy · 26/02/2015 08:42

Hi Church same here, 10+1 and boobs no longer as sore. Nausea still going on but it's lessened, and worst in the evenings. Not having to nap at work any more thank goodness.

Becca83 · 26/02/2015 08:48

I'm 9+4 and my nausea, which has been horrendous, pretty much stopped two days ago. My exhaustion is improving too.

Hoping this is the start of feeling normal again! Still 2 and a half weeks till my scan.

Toffeegirl39 · 26/02/2015 09:52

Tallalime if you have a baby together and then get married, you still have to do something official??
I'm thinking about arranging a cheapo very basic wedding now!!

Treaclepie19 · 26/02/2015 10:33

I think my symptoms are getting worse. I thought theyd gone but severe nausea again today.

10+4 and still no scan date.

Becca83 · 26/02/2015 11:01

Oh no treacle I was hopeful mine was gone for good! really hope it doesn't come back. Feel better soon!

Becca83 · 26/02/2015 11:03

Have you thought about calling your local NHS Trust appointments line? That's what I did when I was waiting for mine and they were able to tell me over the phone.

Treaclepie19 · 26/02/2015 11:41

Thanks Becca :)
I rang them Tuesday and they said nothing had been booked yet and to ring back friday :(

Maternity clothes are so comfy! I don't need to wear them yet but tried them on and didn't want to take them off!

Chuch21 · 26/02/2015 14:21

Thanks boodly jessica and boo
I actually feel completely normal today (except a cough) so I'm half on top of the world, half wishing I could throw up or something haha!

I'm gunna go with the 'today I'm pregnant' mentality and just hope everything goes ok on Monday

Guavasforbreakfast · 26/02/2015 14:26

chuch my sore boobs/nipples went away quite quickly, after a few weeks. I was still breastfeeding up til about three days ago though so maybe that interferes with how it would be normally. My sickness has subsided a lot, I stopped the daily vomiting on Monday (12+2 today) which is much earlier than with DS (not until 22 weeks). Still get waves of nausea but it's nerve wracking! Just need to get through Monday's scan, I've convinced myself something's wrong.

itssangriaoclock · 26/02/2015 14:44

Good luck worry with your scan and last night with possible promotion.

With my first I was feeling movements from 14wks, with this one from 10 very low down.

6 days until our scan, driving hubby mad as I keep seeing one magpie Sad
