Ah lovely scan pic whoknew - must have been amazing! My last scan was dildocam so I was expecting the same tomorrow but maybe at 9 weeks they will do it the non invasive way! To be honest I don't actually mind the other, I've never been remotely bothered by docs seeing whatever they have to to do their job, always think they have seen millions before and will definitely have seen worse! Thank you for the good vibes for my scan, I am just dying for it to get here as I really want to be excited so as much as I'm really scared it's going to be bad news I just can't wait to get past the uncertainty.

batfish · 06/03/2015 07:44

Yeah lookslike it's a real pain trying to socialise! I feel fine so eating is not a problem but I'm sick of coming up with excuses for not drinking.

flipflump · 06/03/2015 07:51

Unfortunately the policy of my surgery has changed. You don't see the GP until 10 weeks, then he'll refer to the midwife. I tried being pushier but it was no use. Its a new midwife so I don't have any contact details for her. I'll just need to be patient and wait my turn.

Cineraria · 06/03/2015 08:00

So nice to see your scan, Whoknew. Glad you got to see everything so clearly.

batfish · 06/03/2015 08:50

flipflump that must be so frustrating, waiting is the worst. I have my second scan tomorrow at 9 weeks and am killing myself with anxiety so I really feel for everyone who doesn't get a scan until 12 weeks, I really don't know how I would cope.

Fizzy13 · 06/03/2015 09:03

Its frustrating waiting for 12 weeks. I'm checking the post manically for the letter. Trying to be patient though and being reassured that I am having a typical pregnancy so far and the greatest probability is that everything is fine.
(Still slightly jealous of everyones early scans although I know you had to go through some serious worry to get them)

gaggiagirl · 06/03/2015 09:06

Morning all. How are we all feeling?
Good luck with your appts and scans ladies!

batfish · 06/03/2015 09:25

Morning gaggia! Feeling absolutely fine and normal as usual - gimme a bit of nausea!! How are you?

ginzillas · 06/03/2015 09:31

Great to see the scan whoknew! How frustrating for you, flipflump. In our area, they encourage self referral, which seemed like a great idea until I found out they'd lost the form that I sent in nearly three weeks ago!
I seem to have got more of a handle on the nausea by nibbling almost constantly on rich tea biscuits. I even woke up at 2am and had half of one with some water. Feeling so much better today.
Hope everyone has a good day.

pnutter · 06/03/2015 09:51

Morning everyone. .i did another test yesterday still stuck on 2-3 weeks (dig) and i don't feel pregnant so keep thinking it's game over :-(

Choccywoccydodah · 06/03/2015 10:24

Lovely scan whoknew!!! So glad you didn't have to have the dildo cam!

Batfish I've been told my next scan at 8 weeks will be abdominal so you've nothing to worry about tomorrow. Eek it's getting close for you now Grin

Managed to eat a meal last night with dh :) Actually felt a lot better for it if I'm honest. Lovely steak and chips, considering I didn't actually want to go to out I think I did quite well!
Don't feel as sick this morning, but it normally kicks in about 11ish. Still lying in bed at the mo and daren't move!!

Choccywoccydodah · 06/03/2015 10:24

pnutter how far are you now?

Choccywoccydodah · 06/03/2015 10:26

Me again, do we have a stats list btw?

Cineraria · 06/03/2015 11:35

October 2015 Statistics Sheet is available via the link, Choccy. Anyone using the link can edit it but some find it tricky on phones/tablets unless they open it in the Google Drive app as you have to do weird things to edit it in a mobile browser! Oddly, someone has signed up with a June date!

Pnutter, hope you are ok. The weeks on those are not always very accurate. Did you use FMU to test as they will show lower if you don't?

pnutter · 06/03/2015 12:19

I think I'm around 6 weeks .

pnutter · 06/03/2015 12:21

No it wasn't fmu

Cineraria · 06/03/2015 12:25

That could be it then. Did you get a double pack as it may be worth trying first thing tomorrow?

I think in the pack it says the pregnant/not pregnant indicator is accurate with later urine but the weeks indicator won't be.

batfish · 06/03/2015 12:34

pnutter I've heard people say that the dates on those tests aren't always accurate so try not to worry, easy for me to say I know and I'm a big worrier myself. Hope all is OK

scatterbrainedlass · 06/03/2015 15:26

Hey everyone, been on MN for a couple of months now but only just discovered this! 6 weeks today, got my first midwife appt on Tuesday, a little apprehensive, as I think it'll make it seem all the more real once I'm in the system!!

pnutter · 06/03/2015 15:35

Thank you. Have to wait til 8 weeks here to book in.

Choccywoccydodah · 06/03/2015 15:43

Welcome scatter!!
At least 8 weeks here too for appt :)

Toast85 · 06/03/2015 17:48

Welcome scatter!
Grrrrr anyone else have constipation troubles? Stupid preggers slow digestion! ??

gaggiagirl · 06/03/2015 18:04

Congrats scatter!
bat I'm siiiiiiiiiiick! And huge! Good luck for your scan, will you post pics please?
pnutter please try not to worry that weeks indicator is shite. It will either say 1-2 2-3 or 3+ it doesn't go higher than 3+ anyway.

Twinkletoes007 · 06/03/2015 18:13

Hi everyone. I've not posted in a while and got lots to catch up on. Will read back tonight. 7+2. Mentally feel in a better place. Was freaking out the last few weeks about the suddenness of it all but feel calmer now. Physically however I feel dreadful! Lost my appetite and feel sick throughout the day. Am so envious of you ladies with no symptoms!! Am surviving on boiled sweets, ginger biscuits and orangina. Oh and I can't get enough of vinegar! Beetroot slices in vinegar, chipsticks you name it. I'm all over it!

Hope you all have fab weekends xx

batfish · 06/03/2015 19:14

Thanks gaggia I will report back tomorrow, hopefully with good news!

Sorry to hear you're feeling shitty twinkle - hope it passes soon! At which point you will panic that your symptoms have gone haha
