symptoms sound similar to mine choccy im between 7 and 8 weeks not quite sure where because i only had one af after erpc.

oh fab you could see that in the scan at 6 weeks so pleased for u. sure the injections are worth it.

Fizzy13 · 03/03/2015 17:33

Very exciting choccy cannot wait to see the reason for all of this!

Anyone else frankly feeling fat? I've always been skinny so feeling my jeans being tight is horrid. Pretty sure my belly button is wider and shallower than normal too. I know its all digestion and not baby which rather makes it more unpleasant!
Sorry, grumble over.

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 03/03/2015 18:06

Just ate some Super Noodles, thinking it was just what I wanted.

It really wasn't. Although they have Malic Acid - sure someone up thread said that was good for nausea (any excuse).

I'm feeling fat Fizzy. Hate wearing anything other than yoga trousers and mine are so old that I can't wear them out of the house!

gingerbreadmam · 03/03/2015 18:09

i am fat but feeling even fatter, feel like everything has just spread Shock

anyone after comfy work type trousers marksys do some lovely jersey wide leg trousers which are my lifesaver at work.at the mo.

crazypuglady · 03/03/2015 18:55

Yaaaaaaay choccy bean!

I'm bursting out of my skinny jeans. Wish I could say it was baby but pretty sure it's tub. The trouble is I've never held weight on my stomach before so I think people will guess quite quickly.

How are people doing with nausea?

MrsEvansAlmost · 03/03/2015 19:21

fizzy I feel the same I've always been a size 10 and I've been so bloated I look about 5 months pregnant already and keep telling dp I don't want to ho and buy big bump jeans yet.. he helpfully calls them fat lady jeans!! not helpful!! also work reminded me I'll have to get some tunics to cover my bump as it expands! that was a pleasant conversation! at least I'm getting wide for a good cause!

anyone else getting incredibly excited about Christmas this year with their little ones? this is my first so I'm ridiculously excited, plus I have a large-ish family a
so we alternate being at parents and in-laws. this year everyone is at in-laws so it will be just me dp and baby!! Grin Grin Grin Grin

You guys are making me laugh with the bursting out of your jeans already posts! Especially with your firsts ha ha! Grin
I was desperate for a bump with ds, but didn't even go up a size until 7 months and that was it, I never got maternity clothes!
When I did get a bump I'm glad i didn't have long with it as it grn in the way lol!
Ds was 8/13 so he was a fair size too, think he was hiding under my ribs :)

Choccywoccydodah · 03/03/2015 19:29

MrsE, I am getting excited about xmas although baby is due 4 days before my birthday so I'm hoping by my birthday I'll have a new baby :)
Went into labour day after due with ds, he was born early hours following morning, so if I have that again I'll have a 2 day old :)

gingerbreadmam · 03/03/2015 19:31

my unborn already has a snowman suit, elf suit, reindeer suit, pudding baby grows and another novelty number. yep am excited for christmas lol!

Stinkersmum · 03/03/2015 19:39

I've not bought a thing yet, and I doubt I will until much much further into my pregnancy. Too much like tempting fate for my liking.

MrsEvansAlmost · 03/03/2015 19:46

I've got some money stashed so when the sales start I'll get my winter kit then!! and I'll pick up some cut summer things for the following year in the winter, savvy shopping is the way forward!

how early is too early to buy nappies?! haha

OP posts:
Choccywoccydodah · 03/03/2015 19:48

I didn't buy anything until 12 week scan last time.
We'll be finding out this time what we're having so if it's a girl I'll start buying from then :)

Choccywoccydodah · 03/03/2015 19:49

Oh, you all need to sign up for freebies. Cow and gate, pampers, bounty, Emma's Diary to name a few. You'll get loads of freebies and vouchers towards stuff :)

Mumwannabe82 · 03/03/2015 19:50

aww Choccy that's lovely that the little bean has stuck and it sounds like you have waited a long time so doubly special for you Grin Grin Grin

so because u wear uniform at work I've had to start wearing the maternity stuff starting tomorrow Shock Shock I'm 10 weeks and my belly is well and truly protruding lol

Mumwannabe82 · 03/03/2015 19:50

Because I wear uniform not u haha

Choccywoccydodah · 03/03/2015 19:51

Careful buying things in advance too. My ds was always a size bigger so I could never buy ahead as j didn't know if stuff would fit! He's the same now at 3.6!

Cineraria · 03/03/2015 20:27

Choccy, what good news about your scan! Congratulations on making it to six weeks too.

Sorry the malic acid in your noodles didn't help Looks. I guess different things work for everyone.

Congratulations, Pnutter! I'm another over 40 but with my first. You're giving me hope ours won't be an only child. Are you feeling ok about going it alone with this one? Hope you have other support nearby or that your ex will be helpful still.

Sympathising with everyone whose clothes don't fit. I'm already quite dangerous (in a buttons pinging off in all directions kind of way) in most of my clothes at only ten weeks. The problem is that I make most of my own clothes and I make them to fit me exactly rather than in standard shop sizes, not tight but fairly fitted, so even though I've lost 6lb since I found out, my bust is huge and my stomach is really bloated, which makes them really tight.

I've booked a week off work after my scan to make some clothes that fit me. Hope I can come up with some that don't look too tent like now but will still fit when I'm due.

Fallinggracefully · 03/03/2015 20:45

Lovely to see your little bean Choccy! I don't have the bloating this time ( which is any to my no-symptoms worry) or the big achy boobs so not really feeling pregnant at all yet at 7+3. I really do have a deep rooted feeling that everything is not ok, however silly that is, but won't actually know for sure for about 5 more weeks. Sorry for the woe is me post but we haven't told anyone in real life and it's helpful to acknowledge how low I'm feeling.

gingerbreadmam · 03/03/2015 20:47

i know all the tempting fate stuff. had a difficult mmc last time and had really wanted to buy something but never. this time i did it so i had that lovely experience even if did go wrong. so glad i did.

due october, first dc so assuming will go over and well december is only a month later. all next 0-3 which i heard are generous sizes. will ebay them if no good tho. wont be buying anything else till after scan tho.

crazypuglady · 03/03/2015 20:56

We won't be buying until after the scan but we know exactly what our first purchase will be Smile

Falling have you spoken to mw or GP about how you're feeling?

Fizzy13 · 03/03/2015 20:58

Sorry you're feeling low falling. I'm finding waiting for the scan difficult too. this has all been harder than I thought it would be (to be honest I didn't really think much about it before)
You're allowed to grumble here when you need to.

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 03/03/2015 21:01

Cineraria I think there is something in the Malic acid actually! Refreshers sweets certainly helped earlier today Smile

gaggiagirl · 03/03/2015 21:12

Welcome pnutter lovely to see you here.
I'm so nauseous.

Fallinggracefully · 03/03/2015 21:16

Thankyou Fizzy. Your kindness made me well up a little ( can I count over emotional as a pg symptom?) Pug, I know this is irrational and stupid but I have not made a docs or mws appointment yet because of this feeling of not being pregnant or baby not being alive. I know that sounds ridiculous and that I need to make these appointments but every day I just put it off... I don't know what's wrong with me! I wasn't like this with dd. although I was nervous on the day of the scan I was excited and felt positive. Sorry again for the very self indulgent post.

crazypuglady · 03/03/2015 21:45

Oh falling I don't know what to say. I know however much I say I'm sure bean is fine it won't make a difference. In the nicest possible way, would it not be better to make the appointments and speak to the midwife and find out for sure that you are pregnant and that baby is alive? If worst comes to worst at least it would confirm mc? And then you wouldn't be questioning yourself.

It really can't be nice for you to feel like there's something wrong every day.
