Ok, after my scare, everything seems fine. Symptoms have ramped right up. I want to cut my boobs off and hang my head inside a loo all day. Not that I'm actually being sick. But the nausea is constant. Morning sickness in my house is now called all fucking day nausea. Pardon the language.

ginzillas · 02/03/2015 15:27

Urgh, it's horrendous isn't it? I think mine carried on until week 13 last time....give me strength.

Stinkersmum · 02/03/2015 15:29

I wan to cry ginzilla, just cry. The only time I don't feel sick is when I'm asleep. I really though I'd got away with it after 7 or so weeks.

ginzillas · 02/03/2015 15:33

You poor thing. It's just so exhausting when you feel like sh*te.

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 02/03/2015 15:43

I want to cry too. Nearly did at my Mum's. At least last time I had a vague hope it would stop 'anytime soon' but it went on to 15 weeks with DS so I don't think I'll be seeing the back of it yet...

Grateful to be pregnant, just hate the side effects!

Fizzy13 · 02/03/2015 15:57

So glad its not just me feeling terrible (not that I'm glad you all feel rough too)
So tired I want to cry not go to work and totally fed up of walking around like I'm made of glass. One quick move and I'm retching.
This morning DH was cooking some pasta for his lunch and I had to dash for the bathroom.
At least I'm grateful not to be on the HG thread.

Nutellalover14 · 02/03/2015 16:23

Hi, not been on for a few days. Am 5 + 2, and no sickness yet. Just hungry most the time, peeing a little more, though am drinking more water. I kinda of want some sickness, just to know that everything is ok.... but i guess there is still time.
I would love a bath with my Lush bath Bombs though - Does anyone know if this would be ok, or best sticking to showers at the moment? Just worry about everything as this is my first :S

batfish · 02/03/2015 16:45

I do have sympathy for all of you who are feeling like crap as it sounds really awful.....but at the same time I'm kind of jealous! Other than sore boobs I don't feel in the slightest bit pregnant and it's really worrying me! Can't think of one symptom I've had at all, I don't even seem more tired than usual. Next scan on Saturday and it can't come soon enough, I'm so nervous that things aren't OK Sad

MrsEvansAlmost · 02/03/2015 17:15

my cousin sent me this link today haven't tried it but thought its worth a share although I don't k ow if I could drink lavender flavour drink with out thinking of those awful lavender sweets Sad

Nutella it's absolutely fine to have a bath. Not sure about the bath bombs but can't see any reason why not...

Toast85 · 02/03/2015 17:30

Is anyone else SO FLIPPING HUNGRY??
First few weeks I sort of went off food and lost a couple of kg, but now I WANT ALL OF THE FOOD!
I could eat all day. Anything and everything.
Nausea seems to have limited itself to early mornings now, once I've had breakfast I'm generally ok, other than a few brief moments during the day, but it goes once I eat a biscuit or sit down for a few minutes.
Sorry all of you who have horrible sickness and nausea Hmm

TheGirlWhoPlayedWithFire · 02/03/2015 17:37

Sorry to hear lots of posters am have been hit with nausea. I'm on hot juice (vimto) and eating mostly dry crackers and toast. Seems to keep it at bay but some days are worse than others.

Glad you managed a nice meal out AuntieDee.

Is anyone else a bit emotional? I've turned into a bit of a wreck and have gone into full on panic mode am just thinking about having our third baby.

I don't think feeling so rough with nausea and exhaustion helps. Plus my youngest is unwell at the minute and was up several times last night. We are all tired today!

MrsEvans, your pup is gorgeous! Sorry it was a few pages back but v. sweet.

Nice to see lots of scans and little beans are developing nicely. No word on a scan date here and booking appointments not until next week when I'll be around 10 weeks.

Cineraria · 02/03/2015 17:39

Yes, a bath should be fine Nutella although you do see advice against overheating in early pregnancy, so you might want to have it a bit cooler than normal, if you normally like to have hot baths.

Also, the bath bombs are likely to be ok but you might want to check if they have essential oils in as some aren't recommended in pregnancy. You can probably Google for which ones they are.

Choccywoccydodah · 02/03/2015 17:44

Toast I had that with ds, no appetite for 2 weeks then I was ravenous!

Nutella baths are fine as long as you don't have to get in slowly and come out like a lobster! It's not safe for growing baby as it raises your temp too much if it's too hot.
I'd check what's in the bath bombs, but they may cause thrush if they're ok otherwise :)

Fizzy13 · 02/03/2015 17:53

Don't worry bat I told my sister last night and she said that she didn't believe she was pg with her first for ages even after her scan. She had no symptoms at all. She had the simplest pregnancy with home birth.
Try to just be happy! Can't be easy though I worryevery time I feel better!

batfish · 02/03/2015 18:09

Ah thanks fizzy that's good to know - I'm sure that after one nausea episode I would be begging for no symptoms again so I really do feel for you all but I just want some sign that things are OK, this first trimester is pure torture! Hopefully my reassurance will come in the form of a healthy little bean at my scan on Saturday and I will then also be able to reassure others with no symptoms!

Linguaphile · 02/03/2015 18:23

Girl I've been very emotional, panicking about how we'll cope with number 3 and generally just a bit low. I know it's hormones, though, because I could never cope with the estrogen in BCP--always made me feel really blue and weepy and irritable!

We're off to meet my parents for a two week sunshine holiday in Indonesia next week, though, so hopefully a bit of vitamin D and a change of scenery will help. Also looking forward to having some happy assistance with our very energetic toddlers!

kezod · 02/03/2015 19:24

thanks for the reassurance choccy I've had no further episodes of spotting so hopefully it will be fine.

Batfish I'm virtually symptom free too, I think we may just have to learn to enjoy it!

Nutella I think you've inspired me... I'm off for a bath

Ladypug · 02/03/2015 19:28

I was one of those girls with no symptoms, just sore boobs and tiredness but as soon as week 6 hit it came on suddenly. I'm now entering week 7 and I feel so crap - I can't stomach food, I feel sick all of the time, faint, headaches, knackered, back is hurting constantly. I just want to have a day not feeling ill where I can eat like a normal person?! Some people suffer this feeling their entire pregnancy! Oh God, what if I'm one of them? Noooooo....there must be a light at the end of this ridiculously long tunnel!

gaggiagirl · 02/03/2015 19:39

Anyone else really spotty?

Taranta · 02/03/2015 19:45

Evening folks, feeling right at home with all this talk about all day nausea, I shall be settling down soon to a dinner consisting of one, maybe two, orange ice lollies methinks. I can just about rustle up pasta for DS's tea but no other cooking happening in this house I tell ya...

Update on my scan, it was kind of more of the same - twin 1 doing v well, twin 2 still weeks behind with a heartbeat now unlike last time but very slow so unlikely to make it Sad. Anyway, will see what it looks like at my 12 week scan in a couple of weeks. Feel very sad for the little one, somehow it seems immeasurably worse having heard the plaintive little heartbeat than last time when it was nothing more than a spec. But on the plus side I did get to see twin 1 wriggling arms about and that was a lovely moment Smile.

X to all

Steph2310 · 02/03/2015 19:45

I seem to have bit the full blown nausea - thought I was going to vom in the middle of the office in front of my boss today! I swing between that and being absolutely starving. Annoyingly the only thing which I can face eating when I feel like that is chocolate or sweets and I'm trying to stick to slimming world so I don't put back on all the weight I've just lost. Is anyone else struggling to keep a balanced diet?

Linguaphile · 02/03/2015 20:05

Taranta I've been watching for your update as I have 18 month old twins myself! It's such a harrowing wait in the first 12 weeks to see if both will stick. Really sorry the scan didn't give you definitive answers. Hoping for you that twin 2 still pulls through! If I'm not mistaken, I believe I read somewhere that it is possible for fraternal twins to gestationally be as much as a few weeks apart in age if the hyperovulation timing is wonky, which could explain the size difference. When is your 12 week scan?

ginzillas · 02/03/2015 20:18

Girl and Linguaphile, I've been feeling quite down and emotional too. Just not right. I'm sure it's just hormones but I had PND after having DD three years ago so am quite wary of slipping back into it. I think it's normal to feel unsettled and uneasy at this time though.
