Me too! Grain whole, I'm due on the same date as you! Just had pregnancy confirmed at gps- didn't believe the home pregnancy test. Smile

AnnaBegins · 19/02/2015 19:51

Angus I'm exactly the same, lmp gives 25th sept but it really won't be, and my booking appointment is the same day as yours. How funny!

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 19/02/2015 19:59

Congrats Grain Welcome Smile

Coolchic12 · 19/02/2015 20:13

Hi ladies, I was wondering where has everyone gone from October thread, here you are??

Oh blue, so sorry to hear if you are still around. Good luck with trying again when you are ready.

I had a bit of a scare on Monday, bled a bit then brownish cm on Tuesday. I called GP and she referred me to EPU, had a scan yesterday and thank god a foetus was seen and heartbeat present. I'm relieved but still paranoid about the cm

Managed to walk home from work today and felt like a real person again. No nausea really is a wonderful feeling! (Of course I then started worrying why it went away. ..)

Welcome and congratulations to the newbies!

Mumwannabe82 · 19/02/2015 20:47

Mum Great news Smile

gaggiagirl · 19/02/2015 22:12

Yay mum how many weeks are you again? Is it 8?. Did you get pics?

Mumwannabe82 · 19/02/2015 22:18

I thought I was 7+5 today but they said 8+1 because of its size Grin this could mean a sept baby but they said it was too early for a true due date x
I did get a pic but it looks a little bit like a blob at the moment haha x

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 19/02/2015 22:19

Great news Mum and Cool. So glad it's a happy outcome xx

Linguaphile · 19/02/2015 22:24

Congrats mum, so glad for you! They also bumped me forward two days at my scan on Tuesday, how funny! Really glad that all is well. :)

Fizzy I'm so jealous that your nausea has gone! This is supposedly the time when the placenta may begin to kick in, so hopefully the rest of us will follow suit. :)

Hi all,

I would love to join, just got my BFP with an EDD of 31st October.

It's DC2 for me but have quite a gap - DD1 is six. I can't remember anything from last time - especially this nervousness of everything being ok!

LadyStark · 20/02/2015 08:12

Quick question, what's the earliest they recommend for a reassurance scan? My friend works at an early pregnancy scanning unit and has always said she'd be happy for me to come in. Just wondered how many weeks one needs to be?

raggymay · 20/02/2015 08:18

Great news cool and mum. Smile
Hi ladystark and congratulations! You are one of the later ones like me. My EDD is the 26th. I'm also a GoT fan too!
I've been wondering about reassurance scans too. I had one at 6 weeks last time and you couldn't see anything but a blob and a heartbeat but that's all I needed. By 8 weeks there is a noticeable head and by 9 weeks you can see arms and legs forming. So if you can hold off until 9 weeks you get to see a lot more. I might book in for a late 8, nearly 9 week scan.

MrsEvansAlmost · 20/02/2015 09:07

morning ladies. anyone else had stabby pains not the normal twinges but sharp stabby pains Confused they woke me up last night no blood or anything yet? got epu on speed dial just in case!! ;)

MsAR · 20/02/2015 09:30

Hi lady stark. Welcome to the thread. I wonder how many are on this bus. Mrs Evans, hope you're ok. I've had no real twinges yet but my due date is later so I have all this to come.

Ca55andraMortmain · 20/02/2015 11:02

Mrs Evans I had some sharp stabby pains on one side the other night. I was really worried but they went away after a couple of hours with no blood or anything and they've not been back, so hopefully will be the same for you. Do call epu if you're worried though, I've called them a few times and they've always been really lovely and reassuring.

MrsEvansAlmost · 20/02/2015 11:20

thanks ca55andra its not on one side which worried me it's more all over but they were worse than the normal achey growing pains I'd had before which is what got me worried! I'll give it another few hours and see if it calms down

batfish · 20/02/2015 11:30

ladystark I had a scan at 5+5 and saw a heartbeat which eased my concerns a great deal - how many weeks are you? if it isn't any trouble for your friend then I would go in at 6 weeks for hopefully a heartbeat (although apparently not all show up that early) and then again at about 9. Although I felt better after my first scan I feel anxious again - my next is at 9 weeks and it feels like an eternity, I have no idea how people manage until 12!

batfish · 20/02/2015 11:32

Hope everything is OK mrsevans! I panic at every slight twinge, I had 2 days of on and off stabby pains a couple of weeks ago which worried me - they weren't severe but they were consistent - but that was before I had my scan and all was OK. But you can never be too careful so definitely worth getting checked out if you are worried!
