You can have the boots own brand lemsip stuff kitty as it only contains paracetamol (double check that hasn't changed since I was pregnant with DD!) Also I had a horrid sore throat in December and what finally cleared it up was letting a spoonful of solid coconut oil (good stuff from a health food shop) melt in my mouth and then swallow it. It was fairly disgusting but it worked!!

Does anyone else breathe a sigh of relief when they take their bra off at bedtime?? Grin

monkeymoonpig · 08/02/2015 07:30

Bra on is better for me mostly - G cup and my one nipple is unbelievably sore otherwise, makes me cry sometimes Sad

sebsmummy1 · 08/02/2015 07:34

Found you all. 10+2 here and nausea as bad as ever. Thought it might be reading off soon but so far nada. Have birthday celebrations starting next week and I have no idea how I'm going to cope with a meal out and a holiday with more meals out, spa days etc. it's meant to be a wonderful treat but I am so worried I'm going to feel ill most of the day every day Sad

Good luck with your scan tomorrow alien xx

sebsmummy1 · 08/02/2015 07:35

*easing off

Bippidee · 08/02/2015 08:00

Gooo and Spam, re good feeding bras, have you tried the Anita underwired ones? They are flipping amazing, I have 3 and have lived in them for oooooh, 16 months! I got mine from nursing bra.com - great service and next day delivery.

LittleSesameSeed · 08/02/2015 08:22

Sauvbanc, Jessica I'm Bristol too!

Think I may POAS this morning as although I'm feeling yuck with exhaustion and a bit queasy all other symptoms seem to have disappeared.
Wish I had a date for my scan so at least I knew how much longer I have to wait.

DeladionInch · 08/02/2015 08:27

I bought m+s feeding bras the other week, the regular underwireless were awful but the feeding ones quite normal looking! my last ones got trashed after 15 months hard usage lol

Lauramum23 · 08/02/2015 08:27

Morning everyone, I need a bra on all the time but I do need some new ones I've been wearing those crop top ones mostly but there is little support but they are comfy.

itssangriaoclock · 08/02/2015 08:57

On a recommendation I went for the genie bra like a crop top. Very comfortable should grow with you.

Last time I kept buying bras every couple of weeks till about 32 wks then started buying feeding bras which were used for 14months. Hopefully the genie bra will stop me buying so many. I brought them on amazon pack of 3.

Also try a sleep bra for those that have sore boobs, this worked well for me last time and I continued with a sleep feeding bra until I finished feeding my ds.

I feed very car sick all the time, sipping lemonade seems to help.

Ds I running around, wanting me to play. Feel so guilty, will go to laws later for them to play with him. Feel so bad for him, his poor little world is going to change so much Hmm

alien11 · 08/02/2015 09:01

Morning all :) hope you have a nice day. I'm counting down the hours until DH takes dd out for an hr or so later!
Thanks for the luck sebsmummy I'm incredibly nervous one minute then I'm in a "I can't change what is there " mood the next ,
Re boobs - DH has told me they are bigger haha. I felt so confident when pregnant with dd as I put in weight and had decent sized boobs!
Have got myself set up for either an abdominal scan or transvaginal one, hoping for the abdominal really.

I'm guessing it's same procedure as 12 week scan , lay on bed and scanner put on lower abdomen etc, going to be hard on my own if there is nothing there Sad I have to drop call DH when finished and he ll escape to the loo at work to call me back for the news. I hope they will be running on time as dd pre school are kindly holding her for a little bit longer after her session.
littleseasameseed I've been poas loads ! Still, positive. I'm even going to do a clearblue digi tomorrow before my appt! Stupid waste of money really but I feel I want to triple check

Spanielpuppy · 08/02/2015 09:07

I'm also a fan of the genie bra extremely supportive. Wore with ds until the day he was born. Will look to see if they do a feeding bra.

Anyone in Hertfordshire?

alien11 · 08/02/2015 09:24

Booo genie bra not into size ??

alien11 · 08/02/2015 09:24

*not in my size!

itssangriaoclock · 08/02/2015 09:28

Wow Quinn I'm Stevenage.

Your terry bucks is very close

itssangriaoclock · 08/02/2015 09:38

Oh that's a shame alien, wonder if another company does similar

Whatabout · 08/02/2015 09:45

I'm in Bucks but Milton Keynes. I am from hazlemere in South bucks though.

My 1 year old kneed me in the boobs. Ouch.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 08/02/2015 10:27

It's difficult for those of us with larger cup sizes in the first place. I've got a vest top with 'secret support' from Bravissimo. That's very good. Basically a crop top but more supportive and could actually be worn outside into the real world!

sauvblanc21 · 08/02/2015 10:41

Waving at sesameseed in Briz.

I've been very well behaved and haven't POAS for two weeks! Desperate for scan tho!!! 7 wks exactly today xx

shinjuku09 · 08/02/2015 10:57

sangria I'm just trying to tell myself that dc1's life will hopefully be enriched by having a sibling and that the short term negatives will be outweighed by that. Have spent most of last week in bed/laid on sofa while other people look after her so feeling pretty guilty at the mo!

shinjuku09 · 08/02/2015 10:59

I'm not sure doing pregnancy tests now is a good idea. If something has gone wrong it can be a long time before the hcg levels go down. You might also get a fainter line than you expect for other reasons not to do with the wellbeing of your pregnancy and it not mean anything. I don't think hospitals or doctors ever use tests beyond the first couple of weeks for this reason.

sauvblanc21 · 08/02/2015 11:03

Yeh I was kind of thinking along those lines shin. Wasn't sure it would confirm or deny anything at this stage! Instead I'm just thinking positively & am hopeful and trying to wait patiently! Argh! X

Jessica32 · 08/02/2015 11:08

Sesameseed, it's nice there's 3 of us in Bris.
Sauv, wouldn't it be funny if we both had our 16th booking appt at the same place! Unlikely though I know.

Alien, all the luck for tomorrow.

StrawberryCheese · 08/02/2015 11:24

Morning! DH has gone to work, he has started kissing my tummy goodbye now even though it's still as flat as usual. Silly man Grin

It's a beautiful sunny day here so I think I'm going for a walk, work off the huge pizza I had last night. We had family friends over, they are actually our landlords, and they brought four bottles of wine plus beer Shock I don't have to worry about not drinking in front of friends my own age as they don't bat an eyelid, but these 60 something's were knocking them back and asking every five mins why I wasn't drinking. I just had to repeat 'I just don't fancy it tonight'. She is a retired nurse so I couldn't play the antibiotics trick without a well prepared story. They left at 11pm and I was ready to collapse. I can hardly keep my eyes open past 10pm these days.

I had another crazy dream, I missed a job interview because DH's auntie took me to buy doughnuts, we then went back to her house which was on an estate in the middle of flamingo land Confused
