I am having a rare day off from morning sickness, and its the weekend going to make dh coffee and breakfast in bed for a change.

As for me, sore boobs this morning. Can't remember if I had sore boobs last time, mind you I didn't have DS poking them last time!

I've caved and booked another scan for Wednesday. I just don't feel pregnant and my dates were a bit out last time. I don't mind this time whether they've caught up or stayed inline with dates from last scan as long as dinosaur is two weeks further along than when last seen. It's all I'm thinking about at the moment and I worry that it's affecting my work!

Tmi but with the thrush chat can we treat it as normal if we have it? And also if I'm fairly certain I've got it can I just treat it without going to the doctor or is it always best to get them to confirm?

maths I'm really considering a second scan too.
As for thrush if your sure it's thrush you can normally just treat it. Creams and pessaries are fine (without the applicator) but no tablet.

Thanks treacle. I've only has thrush once before in my life so can't be definite but seems quite likely that's what it is!

I thought a pharmacist told me last time round you were only meant to use the low-dose canesten..?

alien the did a transvaginal for me too, I was quite surprised as I thought at 8 weeks in they would get a clear picture normally anyway!

Feeling hopeful as apparently seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks means there's a 98% chance everything will be fine?

Just logged on the iPad and seen your scan oics as can't see them On the app. They are so clear! I think I'll be having a transvaginal scan as will only be 7 weeks. So sorry monty

When I had it they said I could use the cream and pessary. Just check with the pharmacist :)

alien I think it just depends because I had an abdominal scan and was only dated at 6 weeks.

Our little one was being quite sneaky so needed vaginal to get a decent image.

Well I am really struggling. Been in bed nearly a week now with chest infection plus all day nausea. Have got antibiotics now but all they seem to be doing is making me feel even more sick. Mother in law gone home and DH can't stay at home many more days to look after DD unless he takes hol. Actually finding I'm neither particularly excited nor nervous about this pregnancy at the mo as just feel so ill :-(

I'm 9 weeks 1 and dur September 11th with my first... can I join? Had an early scan Thursday as I'm not suffering from morning sickness & I don't feel pregnant so I needed to reassure myself that I wasn't making it up! I have my booking in app 15th Feb... what can I expect? Can my partner come? It's all very exciting & nerve wracking isn't it?!

Aww logged on tinterweb to look at all the scans I have to say that although they look nothing like a baby at the moment just lil blobs in only a few weeks time on the 12 week scans they look so much like little babies don't they! No wonder we are knackered they grow mega quick x
Well I have no symptoms at all at the moment just feel quite normal! I could do with a scan to check if there's anything there! I might see if I can wangle one when I see midwife on Wednesday I'll be 7 weeks then. I did have some palpitations yesterday tho I think that's with all the extra blood pumping around

I don't feel pregnant particularly either!

My DH was there for booking in appointment. Was quite handy to have him there for some of the questions actually.

I paid, the midwife actually said an early scan was a waste of money!!! I haven't had any bleeding etc but was convinced something was wrong as over Xmas I was drinking, smoking, not taking vitamins. I took 3 pregnancy tests and they all said negative! I'm still on eggshells but feeling better - just looking forward to the 12 week scan now! & ill definitely take him then, he wants to be a part of everything bless. It is a really surreal but lovely feeling. Have you told anyone yet?

Omg I'm such a bitch today and can't even help it! Woke up at 7 by the bloody cats, cried hysterically as I tried to get rid of them, couldn't go back to sleep due to nausea and hunger, DH woke up bright and perky which pissed me off even more and just snapped at him feel so bad but I'm just so moody and exhausted
