Went to the EPAU tonight as was having cramps and light bleeding... A scan showed everything was OK and I'm dated 8+3! So so relieved! Although little nut is face down at the mo haha.

I'm a Southy too, Basingstoke Smile don't know who said they were as we've moved on a thread and 4 pages in the time it took me at the hospital! Chatty bunch Smile

Hi all [waves wearily]

Lauramum23 · 06/02/2015 22:23

Good news church x

Treaclepie19 · 06/02/2015 22:31

That's brilliant church :)
Glad all is ok.

I'm seriously considering a private scan. My 6 week scan seems ages ago. I keep thinking it'll be a mmc.

Keep calm!

That's great church ?? is 8+3 what you thought you were?

Snowflake15 · 06/02/2015 22:56

Great news chuch

I wish I had booked my early scan sooner, it will be a week on Monday, would have had it on Friday but don't want to risk Friday the 13th (stupid I know!)

Anyone been getting really bad travel sickness? I've never really had It before but finding my slight waves of nausea really intensify when I'm commuting on the train, I never know if I will make it! Soon feel better once off train/home in bed though!Confused

Chuch21 · 06/02/2015 22:57

Thanks all :)
I was estimated 8 weeks exactly today so pretty much spot on alien!
My EDD is the 15th sept which was also my own EDD according to my mother, but I was a week late lol, though that was kind of cool!

monkeymoonpig · 06/02/2015 23:17

snowflake we didn't want Fri 13th for scsn either Grin next date my OH is off is Tues 24th so that's when we're booked in. Ill be 12+6 by then (i think)

alien11 · 06/02/2015 23:23

Aww that's lovely church if all is well my edd is practically same as DD??

Can't wait for Monday but s***g it on the other hand! 7+3/4 I put myself at.

cakeistheanswertoeverything · 06/02/2015 23:30

Hi. I've been stalking for a while & thought I best join in. I'm 7+1, EDD 23 sept. Got my booking in next weds which I feel is the first milestone. Only sore boobs & weeing a lot as symptoms, until this week when MS kicked in. Not too bad, but I think have travel/motion sickness as feel rough in the car on the way to/from work, so yes snowflake, snap!

45Monty · 06/02/2015 23:31

Would someone please remove me from the stats / list. I have miscarried.

Blessings to all of you on your journey to a healthy and happy baby.

StrawberryCheese · 06/02/2015 23:56

Sorry to hear that 45monty Flowers

I am another one waiting for the 12 week scan, which is on the 17th March, I think. We aren't telling a soul except my boss which was a tactical decision until we know there is definitely a baby in there. We don't live near family so it's not been that difficult so far.

I enjoyed a lovely dinner for one of cucumber, celery, carrot, mange tout, cherry tomatoes, cheddar cheese cubes and yellow pepper with sour cream and chive dip. It was just what I needed, no nauseating cooking smells, just healthy, fresh food. Then I had a doughnut! Indigestion seems to have eased a bit.

TerrysNo3 · 07/02/2015 00:29

I'm so sorry Monty take care of yourself Thanks Thanks

DoctorDonnaNoble · 07/02/2015 05:09

Sorry to hear that Monty.
With regards early scans, turn up with a full bladder, but be prepared for a vaginal as well. I had a vaginal to get a better picture and even then bean was being sneaky. First measured at 7 +3 which would not have been good. But after a bit of uncomfortable moving around we got a better angle and measured spot on at 8 +1 with a massive head and a good strong heart beat.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 07/02/2015 07:12

Hopefully picture will appear here. It's a photo of the scan so not great quality. Best bit was seeing the heart beat - so quick and strong!Grin

Donna what a lovely scan pic :) Bet you're over the moon.

I will admit to tears of relief!

Treaclepie19 · 07/02/2015 07:21

I was the same. I was in complete shock after persuading myself it would be bad news.
I'm still going out of my mind with worry though. DH did say it's a 78% chance that all will be well after seeing a heartbeat at 6 weeks though so that's reassured me a little.

So sorry to hear that monty Flowers.

Feeling more sick here and eating everything in sight so putting on weight. I feel travel sick most of the time. Not great with a little one to look after! I am waiting for my 12 week scan too.
