Oh ladies, can i ask - where did you get your exemption form for prescriptions?

I got mine from the midwife at my gp treacle.

Finally got dates for my booking in appointment and scan. 24th February then 17th March. Feels like i have so long to wait.

Okidoke ill have to ask when i next go to the doctors.

I'm 99% sure I just found Little Jimmy's heartbeat! Took lots of moving about, copious amounts of gel but I found it :) found my own pulse and the whooshy placenta like a hundred times though ;) 10 weeks on Monday so a couple of weeks and hopefully he'll be super easy to find :D

Yay! Scan buddy strawberry! Four weeks on Tuesday, really can't wait.

How was your booking in treacle? Do you mind me asking what they did? Is it just questions or do you have to give blood, heigh, weight etc?

I think it depends on where abouts you live because I was told to expect bloods and urine but she only went through lots of questions and did my height/weight and blood pressure. She said my urine and blood will be done at the hospital.

Hi again Ladies! Had to find you all again...on the 4th thread already!

Had my booking appointment on Sunday, bloods, height, weight etc. Turns out I'm 1% too fat haha so I'll be consultant lead and have to deliver in a hospital a bit further away (where my son was born 11yrs ago!) but I'm actually glad about that. Means should I need them there will be plenty doctors available and lots of pain relief! Scan still 4wks away...which is driving me nuts!

Anyway...hope all of you are well, need to read back now!

Oh I forgot to say - I will be consultant led initially as I'm off work with stress/anxiety.

Thanks treacle, guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens at my appointment.
It still doesn't feel real to me. I'm half expecting to go to the scan next month and for them to tell me I've imagined it all, lol!

Haha I'm the same Becca, and I've already had a scan at 6+4! :p

Haven't been on for ages, wasn't in a good place the last week, worrying myself stupid...we went for an early scan last Saturday when I thought I was 7 weeks but the sonographer only saw a gestational sac and a yolk sac. They told me to prepare for the worst seeing as I thought I was fairly sure of my dates. Been freaking out ever since thinking bad things. Well today we saw a little 6+6 bean and tiny beating heart I was so relieved I cried. I can finally breathe!

Edd now 03/10/15...can I stay here though please?!

I had my booking in appointment today, they took my bloods, urine sample and medical history. I nearly had a fit when the midwife told me I now weigh 9lbs more than I did when I got married in July!! still in healthy bmi though so nt that bad I suppose. 12 week scan on Wednesday.

Sorry for the moan but this nausea is just getting me down now :-( never had any of this with DS, 11+2 (ish) now was really hoping it would calm down

I'm going to moan too... 11 weeks on Sunday and still no scan date!!! Argh I just want to know! I have had precisely no symptoms lately but today my boobs have sprung back into life and grown a whole cup size overnight, yikes (and ouch).

Monkeymoonpig I feel your pain! I had no idea feeling nauseous and backed up would make me feel so awful. I love cooking and food, so being off them is making me miserable too. I've only had a fortnight of it so far, but am desperate for it to end. bought those elastic accupressure bands today, worth a try!

On plus side, yesterday I had early scan and saw a healthy little gummy bear with stumpy limbs, and booking appt today went fine.

Off to my early scan this morning, can't wait to find out if baba is OK and how far along i am

Hurrah, have 12 week scan date through. Boo, it's next Thursday, in half term so I'll have 2 children in tow, hubby working and they're sending me to a the furthest hospital in our trust to where we live, nearly an hours drive away. And they send two seperate copies of the letter, that always annoys me!

boodlymummy the bands have been helping me a little, i wear them all the time. Would be even more awful without them.

Oh kitty that's rubbish re the day/travelling! Will they let you take the children? Only some hospitals don't. Hubby can have time off for 2 x antenatal appts?

How long after booking appt did u get your scan letter through?

I booked in on Tuesday this week, so appointment came fairly quickly. It says I can only take one person with me due to space. Hubby just started some silly self rostering system, and the other two managers are both away next week so he's working it all and zero chance of him getting time off. I'm guessing no one will be there today but Monday morning I'll be straight on the phone to try to rearrange, hopefully date and hospital!
