Strawberry I've been having loads of crazy dreams! Last nights was that the baby was massive when it was born, it was like a 6 month old baby and it had all it's teethHmm

Good luck everyone with scans todaySmile

Mummyboo30 · 29/01/2015 08:29

Strawberry talking of odd dreams, I dreamt that all the rivers had flooded and I drove through a surprise waterfall and drowned... Nice. Sad

Mummyboo30 · 29/01/2015 08:29

Alien I don't know if there are any private clinics in or around Maidstone, but we had a 6-week scan at The Green Surgery in Greenwich. It's a Polish run clinic, they are really lovely....a scan cost £70 x

alien11 · 29/01/2015 09:07

Thank you hare5260 Yes there are clinics near just not sure it it's going to ease my worries as I will still worry from day 8 weeks until the 12 week one. I need to be more positive !

Becca83 · 29/01/2015 09:09

So, I'm on an unexpected snow day! I love at the top of a really big hill in South Lanarkshire. I tried to get my car down my side street and the brakes wouldn't work! Had to yank on my handbrake and try to get turned around. Eventually got back in and figured it just isn't worth the risk. It's carnage here. Already one crash just a bit down the hill. Anyone else having snow trouble?

alien11 · 29/01/2015 09:30

Oh no becca83! Glad you haven't risked it and are safe indoors!
No snow here it's a gorgeous beautiful winters day in Kent at the mo. Think we may be in for some tomorrow though!

Whatabout · 29/01/2015 09:34

Absolutely no snow here in Milton Keynes. Bit disappointed really! Second snowless winter. The winter before was so snowy and it snowed the day my son was born and all week afterwards and that was the start of April!

Good luck for all those with scans today! I keep thinking about it but have realised it would only reassure me for five minutes or if something is going to happen I'd rather it just happened naturally at home.

Nausea is quite bad this morning and feeling very whoosh. DH took DS to nursery and I've not even cracked my laptop yet. Watching 24 hours in a&e and feeling emotional!

7+5 today, ticking along

Hi ladies. I have been to the GP this morning as I've had congested sinuses for 14 straight weeks now - was given a nasal spray last week which has helped a bit but now have painful sinuses and green mucous.

So I've been given antibiotics, but I'm newly allergic to penicillin, so I was given something else - just took the first one and read the box, and it says not to take indigestion medicine for two hours before or after taking the AB. And I have to take one pill four times a day! So basically I can't take indigestion meds at all. I've only been taking Rennie's so far but was on omeprazole last time and I know how bad it can get!

Ug. In short, I feel shit. And DD was up last night with another round of croup so she's had the steroids and I haven't slept. And to top it all off, I have some weird pains in my abodomen. I am hoping it's indigestion - I had a lot of pain after dinner last night for 20 mins or so. But also worried that it is pg related. I do feel very bloated.

/whinge.

Sat in snow going nowhere tryino to get to my scan. Been in the car nearly 3 hours now. Should've been able to do an hour at work before going to hospital, but never made it before had to turn round to get to my apt. My apt was at 10.10 and haven't been able to get thru to them.

Feel like I'm letting everyone down: work cos haven't made it in and they're dealing with kids and sno, and haven't even managed to speak to them cos head didn't answer phone so had to leave a message. Feel like I'm letting the hospital down cos I can't tell them.

I think k I'm just nervous....
