Catlady mine too!! Thinking early next week I want my 3+. Jeez I stressed less last time!!

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 10/02/2015 14:02

Another vote for the FB group. I'm finding this hard to keep up!

I'd be happy to set it up if you like? If you pm me with your fb url or some other way for me to find you, I'll friend request you. Feel free to delete me afterwards! Grin

HettyB · 10/02/2015 14:09

I've done 3 internet cheapies, 2 FRERs, a CB digi and a CB with conception indicator.

I've got 2 more CBs and two Boots own but I'm rationing them now - planning to do the other conception indicator one this Saturday to hopefully see 3+ (I'm 5+4 today), then one a week with the other 3!

catlady87 · 10/02/2015 14:16

Hetty I'm a day behind you and hoping for my 3+ on Saturday too! We'll be buddies!

I'm up for Fb group Angus. X

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 10/02/2015 14:19

Are people doing lots and lots of tests for any particular reason? I thought three was loads! Only did one with DS Confused

catlady87 · 10/02/2015 14:22

Basically just to check I'm still pregnant because I'm pretty neurotic. And seeing the positive test makes me feel somehow calmer.

MrsEvansAlmost · 10/02/2015 14:28

another vote for the Fb group Angus!

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 10/02/2015 14:32

Group is set up and ready. PM me with your details Grin!

Promise it's secret!

HettyB · 10/02/2015 14:38

It's just the paranoia that's making me test - did one this AM before doctors appointment as didn't want to waste the docs time if I'd been imagining the whole thing!

Saturday I'll test to check for progression, and then probably one a week just for peace of mind - this is my first and I'm really worried about it not sticking. I had a horrible dream last night about going for a scan and being told the baby had died Sad

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 10/02/2015 14:44

Oh Hetty that sounds like a horrid dream.

I can see how testing calms the paranoia, totally understandable. I def want to do at least one more!

MrsEvansAlmost · 10/02/2015 14:59

I had a dream I'd poo'd myself and dp wouldn't leave so.I couldn't clean it up!! hahaha!!

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 10/02/2015 15:06

I had a dream that a friend, due any day now, gave birth to a beautiful baby. Except it had the most enormous eyebrows I've ever (dream) seen. Quite magnificent. Grin

batfish · 10/02/2015 15:12

I'm jealous of all of your symptoms! Feeling totally normal other than the mega sore boobs - which isn't helping with my anxiety! I have almost zero belief that things are going to be OK, I really want to relax and be able to have a conversation with my hubby about it without totally freaking out! He thinks it's all the most normal thing in the world and doesn't seem to have any concerns and meanwhile after 2 weeks of knowing I'm still amazed every time I go to the loo that there is no bleeding!

Telling my sister tonight which is scary - she will be so bloody excited and is a nearly qualified midwife so I'm hoping she will help with my positivity!

Early scan tomorrow which I'm not sure will reassure me or not make any difference whatsoever to my stressing! I think I will be 5+4 so know I won't see heartbeat or anything so I don't know how it could reassure me really!

crazypuglady · 10/02/2015 15:26

Angus I'm a bit of a facebook newb. What do you need to add me to the group?

I know what you mean Hetty I couldn't resist sticking a stick in my sample for the GP this morning. I had visions of them phoning back saying it was negative.

Got another tesco cheapie and a digi with date indicator. Saving that until I can see 3+ so will be a week and a bit yet.

batfish I'm dying to tell my best friend. Her mum is a midwife and I know I'll get all the reassurance I could need but we need to tell the parents first and half of them are abroad atm.

batfish · 10/02/2015 15:32

Hope the parents are back soon crazy so you can tell your friend! I feel bad as we had to tell 7 of our friends that we we were on holiday with last week and we haven't told parents yet! Telling his parents tomorrow and mine on Thurs, eeeeek!

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 10/02/2015 15:41

Crazypuglady, if you could send me your name if it isn't common, or the email address you use for FB, I'll try and search for you.

Fizzy13 · 10/02/2015 15:43

I'm clearly late to this party, but may I join in?
Due date is 2nd Oct with our first. Trying not to freak out about every little twinge.
I've told a few close friends (who live in other countries) as I'm sure I'll be needing their support if this doesn't work out. I also had to tell my boss as soon as I knew as I work with radiation. But otherwise we haven't mentioned it to family etc. I want to see proof that this is really happening first!

crazypuglady · 10/02/2015 15:48

PM'd you Angus

Welcome Fizzy Smile

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 10/02/2015 15:59

I'd love to join a Facebook group but I'm a teacher and what if one of you was a parent? Or someone I work with?!

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 10/02/2015 16:03

You could always join and then leave if you want to!

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 10/02/2015 16:05

Ok Smile

Kym134 · 10/02/2015 16:08

Why don't you have a look about where everyone is in the stats to see if anyone is close to you.

Joined, must say facebook is easier!

Also funny moment that I can only really share with you and my DH, my Stepmother works at the same office so I have not told her or my father that we are expecting (have told my mother and MIL). She is notorious for telling everyone everything so a bit worried that my boss will find out earlier than I planned if I tell her and if the whole office knew and something happened I couldn't deal with it.
Anyway, other people were discussing who would be next to have children as we have had a spate of pregnancies and someone mentioned me, my SM said "Well she isn't allowed!", I was very tempted to say "TOO LATE!!" but contained myself. I did find it funny but also a bit odd that I will have to tell her soon.

MrsD14 · 10/02/2015 16:10

Hello ladies - may I join you? Got my BFP at the end of last week, think I'm due around 16 October with our first. Only me and DH know in RL - too nervous to tell anyone til we've seen something that proves it - scan I guess, daft really!

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 10/02/2015 16:14

Right, I think I should have been in touch with everyone who PM'd me so far. PLEASE let me know if you can't see the group!

Welcome MrsD14!

alien11 · 10/02/2015 16:29

batfish I saw a very strong heartbeat at 5+6 so you never know!
