Getting there Driz - are you having a harmony test?

badb · 23/10/2015 18:04

fab - how was the s&s?? Ouchy?

nice to see you, lemondriz. Wow, that went fast.

I'm 28 weeks now, almost. Serious bumpage going on. I feel like I've doubled in size in the last month. Feeling ok - just bloody ravenous all the time. I want to eat all the bread and all the cheese. That's just me being a piggy rather than a legitimate craving though. I hadn't put on too much up to now, but jesus if I keep going at this rate I'll be massive by 40 weeks. Badblet is still breech - I can feel her head around by my belly button all the time. Also, she keeps doing this weird rolling movement that's frankly skeeving me out. And, she's mostly on the right hand side, so I get lovely jabs in my liver every now and then. Why she gotta be such a rebel?

I need to step away from Google, which is the devil's old maid when it comes to scare stories.

How's everyone else?

FizzyFeet · 24/10/2015 07:20

Great to see you driz. Are you slowly removing your head from the sand?

bad I'll put my hand up to eating everything in sight too! I've always had a big bum conpared to the rest of me, and it and the bump are pretty much equal size now. Weirdly I can still see my feet- guess minifizz is just taking up a lot of vertical space rather than horizontal. Spent some time yesterday sorting through stuff that my sister has given me, and off shopping with my mum later. Aiming to come back only with essentials but might permit myself a few cute babygros too

Hang in there, fab, nearly time!

badb · 27/10/2015 09:39

Still no word from fab??

Fabuluce · 28/10/2015 04:28

Morning Hags

Well it's induction day for me today - wish me luck! I'd like to say I should have a baybee by the end of the day but inductions can be notoriously slow so I'll not get too excited just yet! Going in for 10;00 so will try for an extra shag before leaving in an attempt to get TWH's prostaglandins to do their thing on my cervix. Oh the romance! Thankfully, after a ridiculously painful week my hip isn't quite as hideous as it was so I'm still hoping for a relatively active birth. Anyway, this is it, the big push, and time to get ready to finally meet our little wriggler, yay!

TheOriginalWinkly · 28/10/2015 05:01

Best of luck fab :)

(Get the blood pressure cuff on the other arm from the drip)

SQUEEEE you'll have your little squishy baybee soon!

badb · 28/10/2015 08:12

Best of luck, fab! You will be amazing - you can do it, hag!

FizzyFeet · 28/10/2015 17:58

Hope everything is going well for you, fab!

Lurking for news from fab Thanks

Also for a quick question from my IVF PeSH - we've booked private treatment in Czech Republic to start in Jan. Can anyone explain to me the dates so I can start booking leave?

I'm going over for 1st appointment in December. Day 21 of that cycle is 21st Dec, next period due 1st Jan. I'm going to get scans over here and fly there for egg collection and transfer which they say should be one week. Can someone explain to me when that week is likely to be? I can't find any info about when down reg starts etc

Blue2014 · 29/10/2015 08:58

Sorry day 21 is 26th dec

... And back to PeSH news .... Holding my breath for fablet news ......

Fabuluce · 29/10/2015 12:56

No news here yet I'm afraid. First pessary was yesterday at 3pm, tightening sale night but nothing else - managed to get a private room to sleep in thankfully. Second pessary at 10:00. Nothing still. Although at least my cervix was more favourable and facing forward this time. Feeling a bit miz if I'm honest - this baby doesn't want out yet as I suspected. If it had been left to baby I don't think it would have made an appearance until 41-42 weeks. Poor little poppet.

TheOriginalWinkly · 29/10/2015 13:20

Have they told you what the plan is Fab?

Fabuluce · 29/10/2015 13:32

Hopefully I should have some movement in the next few hours. If not then they'll break my waters.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 29/10/2015 13:50

Good luck, fab. Hope fablet does make a move soon :)

Fabuluce · 29/10/2015 15:26

Waters being broken in the next hour - going to a private room and having gas and air as MW thinks it's going to be tricky then if that doesn't work it's on to syntocinon. It's so frustrating as if I'd have been allowed to go to 41+ normal mums can then I think I wouldn't need all this intervention. And I was really hoping for a natural labour.

TheOriginalWinkly · 29/10/2015 15:29

Why are you being induced fab?

FizzyFeet · 30/10/2015 17:05

blue are you on long protocol or short? I only did long but if you're the same I will look out my obsessive notes on dates and try to work out when EC is likely to fall for you.

I am ravenous AGAIN, despite a day of constant eating. Breathlessness is better than it has been though, thanks to eating healthy greens and burgers and lasagne and chilli Grin

Fabuluce · 31/10/2015 02:23
