Is this for people due September

DoctorDonnaNoble · 17/01/2015 17:26

Yes Tia.

spamanderson · 17/01/2015 18:43

Waaaa my dinner just made a bid for freedom :( bought a little 7 in pizza and some fries, put half the portion of fries on my plate ate a slice of pizza and ate most of the fries.... Decided I could possibly manage another slice of pizza.... Nope. Body wasn't having any of that :(on the plus side, I was getting a bit concerned I hadn't had any sickness. It's weird, I can hardly eat anything at the moment before I feel absolutely stuffed! Good way to diet I suppose :/

spamanderson · 17/01/2015 18:47

daily my belly is already rounded and rather bloated so my trousers are rather i comfy and rolling down :/ going to have to look at mater it's stuff already too :/ this is baby number 3 so my muscles threw in the towel a long while ago!

MisBit1 · 17/01/2015 18:59

Hi can I join in? Got my BFP last Saturday and am 6 weeks today. It's our first so haven't a clue what's normal, seem to be either freezing or boiling and have never been so tired in my life. Have the dreaded bloat too and am convinced I already look 9 months! Spent today worrying about a pressured feeling in my abdomen but just realised my knickers are too tight! Blush

Bippidee · 17/01/2015 19:09

I found for bloat, just embrace it and er... Let it go.

On a practical note, lovely jersey is your friend. (NB, I am totally not stylish in any way)

If your trousers or skirt are a bit tight, use a hairband through the buttonhole. Instant extra inch!

booboobeedoo11 · 17/01/2015 19:18

Hi definitely congratulations! I'm 5 weeks today and I still expect to wake up and see that my bfp has been a dream!

Random question...anyone noticing their pets acting strange already? When I was pregnant with my first my golden retriever definitely knew but that was much further on I think (and a very long 11yrs ago!). This last week our dog ( a wee rescue staffy bitch) has been really clingy to me and seems to be sniffing around me more than usual..paying extra attention to my boobs, belly and..well, you know haha.
She has always been a little sook and more of a mummys girl lol but she wont even sit in a room without me now!

booboobeedoo11 · 17/01/2015 19:20

Oh and hi to everyone new! Didnt see all these posts!

FlyingSpud · 17/01/2015 19:55

Hello lovely new people, and congratulations. Looking forward to chatting with you.

I am in maternity trousers. I have no shame in that. I carry all my weight around my middle anyway, plus my last baby was 10lb 4oz and EMCS so I have NO stomach muscles left. It makes the bloating easier to deal with and life is too short to be squeezing into normal clothes Grin

Weareboatsremember · 17/01/2015 19:56

Hello!

Can I be added please? Found out a couple of days ago that I'm expecting my second. Already have a dd, currently 16 months, am I'm due a fortnight after her second birthday - eek! Edd 27/09, I'm 29, got my bfp 15/01, and am 4 weeks.

My previous mn antenatal group were brilliant, and made those early weeks and months as a new mom much easier so hopefully we'll be much the same here :)

FlyingSpud · 17/01/2015 19:57

Oh and I'm baking my famous home made bread as we speak...the smell us usually makes me dribble but tonight it's making me want to heave. Sigh.

wafflesandpeas · 17/01/2015 19:59

Hi everyone,
Can I join? I'm 30, I found out this week! My EDD is 23/09/15.
It doesn't really seem real yet but I've tested 5 tines now! Don't feel any different though!

Sparkly123 · 17/01/2015 20:23

Hi again everyone, thanks to Flyingspud for reassurance re the brown blood... I still have it and it's still worrying me! Silly I know! Just with it being my first I have no idea what to expect, and I got slightly concerned this am as yesterday's frer showed a def BFP and today's showed BFP but line slightly fainter I thought. Argh, it's becoming apparent I am a worrier I need to sort this out! Blush

Thanks Spam re edd. Another stupid question though- how can I be four weeks if I only ovulated two weeks ago?!

TinyPawz · 17/01/2015 20:35

Your edd is counted from the first day of your last period so you are 2 weeks pregnant when you ovulate.

MrsMLB · 17/01/2015 20:38

Hi again all - gosh soooo many posts!

I had my scan date through...2nd March (i'll be 12+1), ages away...but then I had a viability scan date through for 26th January when i'll be just 7+1 so hope we get some good news and a heart beat (I had 2 MC at 11 weeks in 2013 and have hypothyroidism). Fingers firmly crossed :-) 6 weeks 2mo!

Sparkly123 · 17/01/2015 20:40

Thanks Tiny probably sounds ridiculous -just don't understand that if we only dtd the week before OV how can I be 4 weeks and not 3?! Sorry, as I said before I'm a total newbie!

FlyingSpud · 17/01/2015 20:52

How do you know you ovulated two weeks ago sparkly?

I thought I was sure of my ov date but my recent early scan has just put me back 5 days.

Stoatystoat · 17/01/2015 21:01

Hello waffles, congrats! just been eating waffle and beans. I think my EDD is 27th Sept.

qualitycandi82 · 17/01/2015 21:02

marking place Smile

TinyPawz · 17/01/2015 21:15

It's just the way it's counted. I think it's because ovulation can occur any time (within reason), they pick a definite date in the cycle (first day last period ) and count from there. Just think you have 2 less weeks to wait to see flump.

wafflesandpeas · 17/01/2015 21:16

Hi Stoaty! Smile beans are nearly as good as peas!

MrsMLB · 17/01/2015 21:39

Hmm, the stats sheet won't let me update on it...can someone please add my early scan for 26.1.15 and 12 week scan 2.3.15. Thanks :-)

DeladionInch · 17/01/2015 21:39

Tip for those with sensitive boobs - grab yourself some breast pads. You'll need them in the first few days even if you go straight to formula anyway Wink

Sparkly123 · 17/01/2015 21:46

Flying hi! Thanks for replying hope all went well on your scan! I used OPKS and temped so could pinpoint ovulation from that (always had a huge temp drop on day of ovulation) ... I think!!!

Tinypaws oh yeh!!! Of course! Never thought of that! Grin I'm such a worrier today due to my spotting etc so I should focus on the scan ahead! Thanks for that lovely positive thought..! Wink

squiish · 17/01/2015 22:00

Evening
Got a digi BFP this morn, 2-3 weeks so hoping to be here for the long run, if you'll have me Wink
Not really feeling much different yet, but 100% not normal Hmm
This is my 1st and I REALLY WANT TO TELL SOMEONE! Blush
