I know what you mean llama, I'm having some issues with work and trying to work out the future but I can't just think of one scenario. I have to have a best and worst case scenario. Puts a bit of a downer on it.

Not long to wait for your scan date now :)

6 weeks today for me.

NatalieBee · 25/01/2015 13:45

Tiny I am so sorry for your loss ThanksEnvy

I am 8+5 today, furthest I've ever got in a pregnancy! Continuing on Aspirin and praying that's what's working Smile
Have a scan on Tuesday at 2pm! Very exited to see the heartbeat again [hopefully!!] feeling very pregnant and very bloated!! I look pregnant already it's shocking Shock

brickiemum2 · 25/01/2015 13:47

So sorry tiny Flowers

whereswaldo · 25/01/2015 13:49

Tiny sorry to hear your news.

Another excercise related question. I'm 5+4 and was doing Body Combat today, after the class asked the instructor when I should start telling them I was pregnant and she said " you shouldn't do Body Combat at any stage of Pregnancy- the advice has changed". Really threw me as it's my favourite class and I've been doing it twice a week!

I'm going to ask the doctor on Wednesday but anyone else been told not to do Combat?

Sundaysmumisfullofwine · 25/01/2015 13:54

5 weeks today, apart from needing the toilet all the time no symptoms for me yet (same as last time). Last pregnancy I had a bmi of 31 so was booked to see a consultant, actually ended up losing weight during pregnancy as I had laid off the booze! Ended up consultant led anyway as I had gestational diabetes, hoping to avoid that this time If possible.

Sorry to all the ladies who have had bad news. I can't let myself get excited yet as it's such a precarious time.

Moffit · 25/01/2015 13:56

I'm feeling dreadful today.........almost 8 hours in to a 12 hour shift! I'm tired and very nauseous , thrown up three times! I have two ulcers, a cold sore and a spotty face with dry skin! My colleagues must be thinking, she looks rough this weekend!

Remind me agin, when are we supposed to bloom?!?

Mummyboo30 · 25/01/2015 14:17

Moffit I think the 'blooming' is supposed to happen somewhere in the second trimester, once your body is more used to the hormones and the placenta is at full power.

I'm still pretty symptom free, apart from the thirst and tiredness. 8+3 today and don't feel all that pregnant at all. I remember though from my first time round I just had sore boobs, but don't even really have that this time.

Sorry to hear the news of the losses. :( Flowers

Chuch21 · 25/01/2015 14:25

So sorry tinyFlowers

I seem to be full of beans in the morning and then suffer with tiredness and nausea from 1-5, then full of energy again in the evening! Bit annoying my rubbish 4 hours is during work time but grateful it's not all day!

I haven't tested since the day of finding out, bit scared to do it again, almost like ignorance is bliss!

DXBMermaid · 25/01/2015 14:33

Hello!
Just went for a scan today and found out I am 8 + 4 so due on 2 September with DC2.

Have an almost 20 month old DD.

MyNameIsSuz · 25/01/2015 14:40

Waldo, that's surprising about body combat - I'm pretty sure that when Les Mills' wife was pregnant she designed preggo-friendly adaptions for all their classes. But if the advice has changed... advice on Zumba changed mid-way through my last pregnancy, I was going twice a week (same leisure centre but different instructors), one instructor said I should stop altogether, the other said it was fine but to modify it so I wasn't twisting at all. Not sure about combat as that was definitely ok last time!

whereswaldo · 25/01/2015 14:52

Thanks suz I go to three instructors across two clubs so reckon I'll ask them all and see if I get a consensus!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 25/01/2015 14:56

Last pregnancy (ended in MMC) my PT told me to drop my Hatton Boxing class due to risk of getting punched, kicked or kneed in the stomach by my partner during combinations when I had the pads. However, she kept doing combinations with me in my PT sessions.

SpamAnderson · 25/01/2015 15:04

So sorry tiny

DoctorDonnaNoble · 25/01/2015 15:24

I've woken up from a nap with a dull ache in my right shoulder. I just slept funny, right?

sauvblanc21 · 25/01/2015 15:32

Sundaysmum I'm 5 weeks today too and also limiting the excitement, very hopeful but staying sensible.

Few symptoms for me too except my boobs hurt SO MUCH when I take my bra off to go to bed! Had to wear sports bra through the night last night - they're only little B/C cups - how can they hurt this much! Trying to avoid taking painkillers tho. Have any of you taken painkillers for boob pain in the past? Xx

Lauramum23 · 25/01/2015 15:45

I'm sure I read not to do combat as risk of being kicked etc but body pump was ok to keep going, I don't like either! Grin

Lauramum23 · 25/01/2015 15:46

Facebook page might be good this forum is a little bit busy isn't it!?

nutelladipper · 25/01/2015 15:50

So sorry tiny.

Mw advised me at booking in to have my flu jab so I merrily went along on Thursday. Oh my word I now feel atrocious. Like I've been hit by a bus.

I've also not been for a number 2 for 4 days now and I feel so bloated & look 6 months pregnant.

Final moan, my son as a tummy bug so pooing his pants every 30 mins Hmm

Moan over.

(9+5)

booboobeedoo11 · 25/01/2015 16:03

Any second time mums (or onwards) looking more pregnant at this very early stage than they did with the first? I'm only 6wks and feel as if my stomach is so bloated and 'out there' already!

I've always been heavy and between sizes 12-16 my whole adult life, weight fluctuates all the time. I also know I've put on a lot of weight since I've been off work and not exercising properly (had an accident so been taking it easy since September) but I've always been more chunky everywhere rather than having a sticky out fat belly. But right now I look really pregnant! I know its not an actual baby belly but I seem to have changed so much the past week!

Also on the subject of weight...I'm dreading my booking appointment because of the weigh in! Not so much to see it myself but for my OH seeing how heavy I really am! Pathetic I know but I've always been really conscious about anyone knowing my weight!

Treaclepie19 · 25/01/2015 16:27

Only a first time mom but second pregnancy.
Definitely a bump showing low down. Sticks out from everything else.
I'm only 6 weeks. I know it's probably bloat but I've actually lost a tiny bit of weight and it's really sticking out.

alien11 · 25/01/2015 17:29

I am so so so bloated!!! 2nd time here. It's ridiculous how bloated I am! Think I'm 5 weeks going by the period calculator thing. No other symptoms at all!

sauvblanc21 · 25/01/2015 17:37

So sorry for your sad news tiny xxx

ditzzy · 25/01/2015 17:39

sauv I'd swapped to sports bras a few days ago and have now been shopping for new bras. Full cup T-shirt bras from M&S in... 38D!! Oh so comfortable.... but they're usually 36B. But so comfortable - yes, I know I already said that, but the bruised feeling has completely gone already, I'm sure it was just because I was shoe-horning them into my old bras Grin

sauvblanc21 · 25/01/2015 17:44

Thanks ditzzy - how far along are you? Slightly concerned that if I buy new bras this week, I'll need to buy bigger sizes next week! Tshirt bras sound like music to my ears though - I'm so over underwiring! :)

ditzzy · 25/01/2015 18:01

sauv just 7+4 (although exactly 8 if I believe yesterday's sonographer Grin). I reckoned it was worth it for the comfort value! They have a reasonable selection of two-packs at the moment too, so not too bad on price - I do have a bit of room in them for expansion, but with both back size and cup size needing to go up, it seemed inevitable.
