nutella my eldest was due August 25th.... Little bugger arrived on September 6th :/

ag123 · 23/01/2015 17:59

My fluctuating symptoms are really giving me the heebie jeebies :-(

I have not had any bleeding whatsoever but it is just so weird...I just don't feel that pregnant. Boobs not much bigger/sore, nausea in the evenings (I'm sure I was actually sick more with ds) and yes I am very tired...but I don't really feel pregnant...more like under the weather or ill. I just cannot remember what it was like first time round...my sister insists I was saying the same but I just don't know.

Just did a cb digi that I still had lurking in the cupboard and was convinced in the what seemed like an age it took to produce a result that it was going to have reverted back to Not Pregnant or showing 'less' pregnant to show reducing hormones but I did get the 3+ (although I am 8 today so prob doesn't mean much)

And I've already had an early scan...starting to consider another one :-sssss

Sorry for massive moan...why can't I keep this anxiety under control????!!!

ag123 · 23/01/2015 18:01

Also, hardly peering more than normal whereas I was before...that's weird isn't it?

Maths88 · 23/01/2015 18:06

Just burst into tears for absolutely no reason whilst sat on the sofa. Poor dh didn't know what to say but has made me a cuppa (decaf) so all is well!

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 23/01/2015 18:32

spam I've lost about 8lbs since bfp, constantly grazing but it's all plain stuff to try and help with the nausea/sickness. I'm obese too and often joke that DS was the only diet that ever worked. By the time he was a month old I was 2.5st lighter than my start weight. I'm trying to console myself with this at the moment as I run for the loo!

Jackieharris · 23/01/2015 18:40

I had to leave a shopping centre today as the stuffiness was making me overheat and I didn't want to risk fainting. The only time in my life I've fainted was when I was first trimester with dd. Don't want to repeat that.

I'm having white bread and butter for my dinner tonight as I can't stomach the thought of anything else. I had plain ice cream earlier. This is such a poor diet! Hopefully the nausea will end soon and I can eat better!

Chuch21 · 23/01/2015 19:06

Seems I'm feeling the opposite to most of you ladies! I cannot stop eating, I look 12 weeks pg by 3pm each day Blush

Massively nauseas today, but not actually sick... Felt awful.

I have 2 close friends coming over tonight for drinks to celebrate an engagement so I'm pretending to drink vodka (lemonade) and white wine (Schloer) hopefully they won't notice although if the shots come out I may have no choice but to spill!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 23/01/2015 19:13

Good luck keeping the secret!

gennibugs · 23/01/2015 19:17

Evening all -it's the weekend yay!!!

Sorry to those feeling rough. It must be horrible. I don't really have any symptoms apart from slightly sore boobs and cramping. But I guess I am 4+5 so a way behind some of you ladies. I've not been particularly hungry though and actually lost weight at my weigh in at the gym this morning so perhaps is connected in some way. I'm not too worried though.

Popping over to MIL to give her the good news. I think she'll be shocked (but happy) Grin. We've decided to just tell her, my parents and my sister and no one else til after the 12 week scan.

gennibugs · 23/01/2015 19:21

Doh I'm 4+6 - never could count! Grin

FlyingSpud · 23/01/2015 19:52

Fucks sake. (Tmi warning.)

I've had browny discharge today and when I wiped earlier it was red. Not bright red and I'm not 'bleeding', just when I wipe. It's stopped now but I bet it will come back. Not seeing midwife until Monday.

Why can't pregnancy being FUCKING EASY

MyNameIsSuz · 23/01/2015 20:03

Ag123 I'm exactly the same! Sore boobs the only real symptom and those are on and off. I'm pretty sure I was exactly the same last time, I was convinced there would be nothing there at the scan.

Tallalime · 23/01/2015 20:19

OK gross (sorry) today and yesterday I have had some green discharge. Not a lot it's mostly still clear and it doesn't smell different (sorry Blush )

Has anyone had this? Should I see the Dr do you think? Or just mention at booking in on Wednesday?

Lauramum23 · 23/01/2015 21:10

As long as discharge doesn't smell it should be fine, mine was a bit yellow today ( what a lovely topic!) just ask midwife when you go she will probably swab you, when having my first I had an increase in discharge so she swabbed and it turned out I'm a carrier of gbs (group b strep) a bacteria that is absolutely fine in your body but if passed on to baby during labour it can sometimes make baby ill with meningitis! So I have to have antibiotics during labour to minimise risk, they didn't routinely look for it tho well not when I had my last child he's 5 now. Something else to worry about eh!?

UptownFunkYouUp · 23/01/2015 22:27

Very strange pregnancy symptom here...really painful recurring pimples in my armpits...very glam! Anyone else?

Mummyboo30 · 23/01/2015 22:40

Not sure about the armpits Uptown, but I do tend to get cystic acne in pregnancy. I got it most of the way through with DD, especially around the neck. :(

NatalieBee · 23/01/2015 23:17

Uptown I have spots everywere at the moment! Back, boobs, face, legs! It's crazy I never even usually get 1 spot Hmmpregnancy eh?

Chuch21 · 23/01/2015 23:30

Thanks Doc!
I did it... They didn't suspect a thing, although I had to bite my tongue when they were discussing people having babies before getting married (they aren't judgemental at all it just came up in convo)

To add to the lovely topic of discharge, I'm having it, it's white - not a lot but enough to notice. I've read it's ok but should I say something?

UptownFunkYouUp · 23/01/2015 23:49

Zits, discharge and vomit abound then....when does the blooming begin?!

UptownFunkYouUp · 23/01/2015 23:52

Spud, sounds exactly like what I've been having for a couple of weeks, don't worry too much, I'm being told it's not a cause for concern as long as it stays like this...actually touch wood mine seems to be more or less stopped now.

Treaclepie19 · 23/01/2015 23:59

Has anyone noticed they just seem more ill?
I've got a uti, a sore throat, ulcers in my mouth and a bout of tonsilloliths :(

DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/01/2015 05:33

Treacle - I think that's actually normal our immune system is something else that's all over the place! Huzzah.
Particularly great when you work in a school.

brickiemum2 · 24/01/2015 06:19

Yeah, I think our immune systems are dampened down so as to not attack the embryo/foetus (technically a foreign body as it has a different genetic code to us)

nutelladipper · 24/01/2015 07:32

Laura they do now routinely check for strep b - they do two urine tests one at booking and one at 36 wks. If you've had a positive from a swab they mAy do another at 36 wks too - that's what they are doing for me!

My

DoctorDonnaNoble · 24/01/2015 07:41

With my last pregnancy we didn't quite make it to the booking in appointment. It's a week on Wednesday. What should I expect, oh wise people who've done this before?
