Glad it's not just me who is freezing!
Currently on the sofa in a jumper with a quilt on and the fire on.

sauvblanc21 · 22/01/2015 21:06

Same here Treacle! Thought I was the only freezing one! Been on sofa every evening wearing several layers, under blanket, heating on AND fire on! Even been going to bed early to warm up! X

Snowflake15 · 22/01/2015 21:08

I'm freezing too! Tmi alert - constipated and bloatedConfused have been eating loads of fruit and veg to try and get things movingBlush

Does anyone know if you have a scan at your booking in appt? I was thinking of getting an early scan at 7 weeks but I spoke to the self referrals lady today and she said i will have booking in at 7-8 weeks and scan at 12... So don't want to pay out if there might be a scan at booking in appt

Treaclepie19 · 22/01/2015 21:13

I've been steering clear of bed, sofa is warmer!

Snowflake as far as I'm aware you don't.

Boodlymummy · 22/01/2015 21:26

Hello Spud and other London ladies![waves]

FlyingSpud · 22/01/2015 21:28

Hi boodly Grin

Whereabouts are you?

sauvblanc21 · 22/01/2015 21:34

Snowflake - no scan at booking in as far as I'm aware as Treacle said. I've been told scan between 11 & 13 weeks. I understand you can pay for early scan around booking in time but not sure benefits of this...? All new to me so learning as I go Grin x

Snowflake15 · 22/01/2015 21:38

Ooh ok thanks ladies! Benefits i suppose just put your mind at rest and just hopefully make things seem a bit more real!

I'm also a london ladySmile

gennibugs · 22/01/2015 21:47

Ooh more london ladies. Hello all! And glad there are some other end of September ladies.

I am freezing. Absolutely freezing. I have pjs, a onesie, a dressing gown and a blanket on and I'm still cold.

I'm not a teacher but im excited to be having a September baby. It's our wedding anniversary in September so a special month anyway and it's the one month where we don't have any birthdays in our family. Not looking forward to commuting if August turns out to be a hot one though!! I will not be telling my employers until after my 12 week scan, I'm hoping I can keep it under wraps until then!!!
12 weeks seems like ages away though!

gennibugs · 22/01/2015 21:48

Can I ask - have any of you had to self refer? How have you decided which hospital to choose? I've got a choice of 3 and no idea which to choose. I need to choose in order to get my booking in etc.......

duckbilled · 22/01/2015 21:50

I just ate half a domino's pizza, potato wedges and garlic pizza bread... I can blame the little bean right?? Shock

Mummyboo30 · 22/01/2015 22:06

Hope everybody is having a good evening. Anyone from the Midlands? I'm Northamptonshire. :)

Chuch21 · 22/01/2015 22:12

Hi ladies!
So sorry to those with losses and worries the last couple of days Flowers

Had a meeting at work today, I wanted to keep the pg under wraps until I move departments but I was advised today they want to start me on a new project in 2 months Confused (I'm a software test engineer) so no idea when to tell them now...

Hardly any symptoms today, slight stomach ache this Eve... Not that I've enjoyed it of course, just worried something is wrong!

ShootTheMoon · 22/01/2015 22:13

Snowflake, MWs don't do scans normally, it's completely separate. Sadly. So normal pregnancies just have scans at 12 and 20 weeks.

Snowflake15 · 22/01/2015 22:18

shoot thanks for letting me know - nothing like on TV then it always seems like u would have scans non stop!Grin
Think I will do the 7 week one then!

Treaclepie19 · 22/01/2015 22:26

I'm from the Midlands - more to the west though :)

Boodlymummy · 22/01/2015 22:27

Spud, I'm near Wandsworth Common.

On the early scan chat - this is first preg for me and I'm v impatient and excited, so I''ll probably get an early scan in a week or so (think I'm 5+2 now). Googled and found a private place nearby for £85. Local NHS EPU does walk-in scans every morning, so going to ring them and gauge if it is/feels acceptable to use that service just for nerves when no actual issues.

Jackieharris · 22/01/2015 22:32

I already have a September dc and it was a good time of year- not too hot, not near Xmas, still time for a few nice days out in park, baby crawls in spring/summer.

Treaclepie19 · 22/01/2015 22:33

I'm hoping to get an early scan next week.
I've been having pains so doctor agreed to see me Tues when ill be 6+2 and decide if I need a scan or not.
I really hope I can have one. Miscarried in may and very nervous.

Mummyboo30 · 22/01/2015 23:03

Whereabouts are you Treacle? Fx'd you can talk them into a scan.

Same here Jackie my DD is late sept. This baby will hopefully be early sept, so at least their birthdays aren't exactly at the same time.

I'm sure we are all hoping for a not too blistering summer!

Tiredstressed · 23/01/2015 03:49

I'm from the Midlands too. I am not planning to tell work until after 12 weeks. Everyone guessed last time so I will have to work harder to hide it! There isn't a big gap (my first is 10 months) so I am hoping that they will not go mad when I tell them. I have been feeling a bit sick and keep waking in the early hours. Last time I had terrible pregnancy insomnia - I am really hoping not to get that again.

Maths88 · 23/01/2015 05:48

Feel so bloated this morning! Tmi but I have so much wind at the moment! I hope I can keep it under control at work today!

Got a full day today with no free periods which is always a killer on a Friday! But hey it's nearly the weekend!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 23/01/2015 06:18

Oh I hate a full day Friday! I've got a slightly easier day than normal as our year 13s are doing their mocks at the minute so I get an hour extra free at the end of the day. Grin
So very tired at the minute but happy that still showing symptoms at 6 weeks. Different to last time.

sauvblanc21 · 23/01/2015 07:02

Full teaching day for me too - booo. Better treat myself to chips at lunch today to get through the day!!! Happy Friday everyone xx

MyNameIsSuz · 23/01/2015 07:06

Mummyboo snap, I'm due on the 8th this time, DS will be three at the end of Sept. Came on his due date so hopefully this one won't be wildly early or late.

7+5 and struggled to do my skirt up this morning - yikes! Last time I didn't even tell work until 20 weeks, this time I don't think my stomach muscles care enough!
