I'm feeling the chills too but grateful that it's the time of year for wrapping up; no bloody way I'd be able to hide my bloat bump without cardis, coats and scarves.

LittleSesameSeed · 20/01/2015 18:48

Ladies- can I ask for some advice. Midwife rang today to book In my booking in appointment. I wrote the date down and carried on but have since realised that it will be the day before I'm 12 weeks on18th feb- is this too late? Will I still get a scan in before 14 weeks? The appointment is perfect as its half term but don't want to be too late having the scan. What would you do? X

StrawberryCheese · 20/01/2015 18:48

My chills lasted all day but it could be to do with my 50min walk to work and my office's poor heating. Strangely though I have rather fragrant armpits Blush

I have the opportunity of applying for another job within the company so I'm going to try that first. If im not successful then I will have enough of a payout to last me 7 months. I'm nervous about looking for jobs whilst being pregnant.

MyNameIsSuz · 20/01/2015 18:50

Ahh sorry I didn't mean to sound accusatory! Grin

Very much hoping my skin clears up soon. I'm another freezing one! currently wearing a furry hoody and wondering how I'll ever leave the house.

ShootTheMoon · 20/01/2015 18:50

Sesame, I would phone the MW and ask her to book your scan before you have the appt. It will be tough to get one within two weeks, and if your dates are out you may end up over 14 weeks!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 20/01/2015 18:56

So first maternity bra on. It's my first non-underwired bra since I was 13.
It's a GG cup! I'm only 5 +4. This is going to get very ridiculous, isn't it?Confused

pocopearl · 20/01/2015 18:58

4+5 (so not that pregnant) and symptoms coming in but still feel a bit of a fraud as still early. I only have to look at bread and I bloat out to the size of an elephant, constipated as hell, fx for no ms though. How is everyone else?

shinjuku09 · 20/01/2015 19:02

Hope everyone is doing well. I was BB01 but name changed as RL friends were starting to discover me! However the name change has led to no end of issues and can't access the app. Think I may have to delete my whole profile and register again! No chance of catching up at the mo so hope everyone is ok.

StrawberryCheese · 20/01/2015 19:03

Oh wow doctordonna I hope they don't carry on getting bigger! Are maternity bras essential? I'm only small, I can't imagine they will get much bigger.

LittleSesameSeed · 20/01/2015 19:06

Thanks shoot I think I'll do that! Didn't know if it was just me overthinking everything as usual x

squiish · 20/01/2015 19:08

Nice catching up with you all - strawberry I think I missed the part about your job, what has happened? Redundancy?

I'm so fed up in my job and wish I could find another but I know its a silly thing to do when pregnant! Should I just sit it out, have mat leave and see how it is when I get back?

DoctorDonnaNoble · 20/01/2015 19:08

For me at night they are! Unsupported they are ridiculously uncomfortable and sore now, but an underwire is uncomfortable at night. It's a nightmare!
I think my head of department is starting to put two and two together. When my trainee said to him I was off sick yesterday, he asked her if she thought it was pregnancy sick! With that and the inflating chest I will do well to get to 12 weeks! Still, almost at 6 weeks now.

duckbilled · 20/01/2015 19:09

Very spotty here, especially around my hairline/forehead... It must be because of my hair getting greasier Hmm

Tallalime · 20/01/2015 19:31

Well I caved and did a digi test and got a pregnant 3+

I think I am between 5 and 6 weeks so that works out. Exciting.

Stoatystoat · 20/01/2015 19:37

Has anyone had a terrible back? I'm really struggling with it and feeling really emotional. I'm so scared it is going to be like this the whole way through and beyond.

Stoatystoat · 20/01/2015 19:39

Squish, I would sit it out but it depends on your financial situation. Have you been fed up long?

Poco, I think I'm about two days behind you.

Dailylurker · 20/01/2015 19:43

I have my dating scan on 2nd feb... I'll be so relieved to see a real baby shape on the screen Smile

DoctorDonnaNoble · 20/01/2015 19:45

Some people are getting their dating scans really early, mine's not until I'm just over 13 weeks! Confused

Dailylurker · 20/01/2015 19:50

Donna - I am cheating a bit, I am due late august but I tend to go overdue and hoping for a September baby (for school years!) so mine is 11+something Grin

FlyingSpud · 20/01/2015 19:57

I've not even had my booking in appt yet so no idea when my scan will be. Fuck knows what my dates will be at that scan after the hoo haa with my early scan.

I've been suffering with a bad back too (I'm on the app so can't see who originally mentioned it). It's agony. Just hung the washing out and done dishwasher etc and it's finished me off.

Stoatystoat · 20/01/2015 20:01

That was me spud. I'm sorry you're having that too. I'm in bed with a hot water bottle. I miss nurofen.

I haven't had my booking in appointment either, I apparently have it at 8 weeks. Seems like an eternity.

FlyingSpud · 20/01/2015 20:04

Ahhhhh nurofen...the one with codeine was my favourite Grin

I'm due 7th sept but will be having ELCS after previous horrific birth of massive DS (he was SO worth it thought) so I'm hoping for a late August bundle.

45Monty · 20/01/2015 20:10

When I was having the chills, I wasn't tired. Actually still no fatigue. No need to nap, and I have had a hard time sleeping at night - not tired.

Has anyone had any weird tummy sensations like your whole belly has dropped into you pelvis followed by severe pelvic pain. Not like menstrual cramping, more like cramps with someone stabbing you with a knife...

I'm only 5 weeks, seems like odd for a dropping sensation like that followed with that type of pain. Newbie... so don't really know what's normal.

Stoatystoat · 20/01/2015 20:11

Ah lovely. I don't know my official date, I think 27th September but I'm leaning towards ELCS for various reasons. How old is DS?

Tallalime · 20/01/2015 20:12

I miss decongestants and nurofen and all of the drugs.

I am going to drink some honey and lemon in a bit. Saving the boots own lemsip for just before bed rock and roll

Do we have a FB group btw? I daren't read back through the whole of the last fred... I'll get nothing else done tonight!
