Ours is Seahorse for now. Smile

Mummyboo30 · 19/01/2015 22:42

My little one is being referred to as Nupert. It doesn't make a lot of sense, but we tend to come up with gibberish nicknames for DD, one of which is Poopert. (Don't ask me why, DH came up with it!)
So a new form of poopert ... new-pert = Nupert. Grin

NatalieBee · 19/01/2015 23:06

We have just been going with jelly bean because on my scan they looked like a tiny little jelly bean with a heartbeat!

Loving all the poo talk this evening lol! As a nurse I can defiantly say it's one of my things Wink.

I fell asleep in the cinema tonight, it was diar after getting up to pee twice and the wave of nausea my body must have went stuff it off to sleep with you Confused hope I wasn't snoring, not sure my DH would tell me if I was lol! x

monkeymoonpig · 19/01/2015 23:50

Constantly feeling sick still, tho its oddly reassuring that nothing wrong.....no name for this one, tho DS was 'babbamoon' the 'moon' has stayed, DS often yells for 'Daddy Moon!' if he wants him lol Grin GrinGrin

Maths88 · 20/01/2015 04:50

Everyone's got such cute names for their little one!

Woken up with a little light brown in my knickers so back to hugely heightened feeling sense of anxiety. Had this about 2 and a bit weeks ago but at that time it fitted with implantation. No idea what could be causing it today. Gonna keep an eye on it and if it hasn't stopped by the end of the day I may call the midwife practice I've booked my appointment text week with. It's going to be a long day!

brickiemum2 · 20/01/2015 07:05

I had brown blood with my last baby and absolutely nothing was wrong...I did go to epau and get an early scan though to calm me down.

Contrast that to when I mc and I had agonizing cramps with bright red blood and it developed very quickly and was unmistakable what was happening.
Hope that puts your mind at that maths

lovesmycake · 20/01/2015 07:38

I'm a fan of lactulose for those with constipation its safe whilst pregnant and you can get it in the supermarket, that and avoiding processed white carbs :(

Absolutely exhausted and thinking I might have to tell my boss soon. My colleague is gonna be super pissed off though so hoping I don't have to tell him for a little while.

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 20/01/2015 08:05

Well a first for me - actual voming in the morning Sad, just came out of nowhere as well so I'm a bit nervous going to work. Ah well I've unearthed a sick bag so fingers crossed I don't humiliate myself in a meeting!

Snowflake15 · 20/01/2015 08:09

How far along are you HaveTea? Yesterday I had sort of dull ache in my stomach and boobs not got anything today I'm almost looking forward to nausea so at least I will know it's realHmm I know I wont be saying that when it happens!

Telling parents tonight after work!

Treaclepie19 · 20/01/2015 08:10

Off to the doctors this morning to talk about work. Wish me luck.

Feeling sick this morning but that's probably nerves.

Hope you get on ok Havetea.

brickiemum2 · 20/01/2015 08:18

Good luck treacle hope you get your old class back.

I am still without symptoms today. As long as everything is fine then that's ok with me...still worrying though. Mind you I've never been sick with my other children and used to joke that if it wasn't for the missing period I would know I was pregnant until I had an obvious bump.

stuffthenonsense · 20/01/2015 08:19

Wow how did we get to page 12? How is everyone today?

Treaclepie19 · 20/01/2015 08:22

Thank you x
I am so nervous either way!

I know what you mean about the symptoms brickie.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 20/01/2015 08:23

God, I'm exhausted. And nauseous. Had the taste of bile in my throat all evening yesterday even though I haven't been sick. My boobs feel like bowling balls (more so than usual) and I just want to go back to bed for the next few weeks! I think I may spend most of half term asleep actually. I haven't been this exhausted ever! Including after the London Marathon and the even more ridiculous Fan Dance!

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 20/01/2015 08:25

I'm 6+2 today, think if Ivan tough out this week I'll confess to my boss next week and try to work from home more if I need to. I was really sick last time but always in the evening, everyone at work knew way before it was official as I alternated between ghostly and Envy from 6 weeks.

Tallalime · 20/01/2015 08:25

I feel so ill this morning. Not pregnancy ill, sore throat ill. It hurts and there is bugger all I can do for it Sad

And our heating has broken, I am huddled shivering in front of the fire.

lovesmycake · 20/01/2015 08:31

good luck today treacle

doctordonna fan dance??

oh tallalime being sick and pregnant really sucks would lemon and honey help?

Tallalime · 20/01/2015 08:59

I have asked DH to bring me some honey at lunch. Having just walked DD to school I have decided it is too cold to venture out right now.

Mummyboo30 · 20/01/2015 09:01

tallalime you can still take paracetamol if you need it, I hope you feel better soon.

Also intrigued by the fan dance drdonna... Is that anything like the one on Star Trek? ;)

How's everyone doing for cravings? The only thing I've been really really craving is orange juice. Although it's making me a bit acid-y. Sad

nutelladipper · 20/01/2015 09:02

our eldest was Wally and youngest was Rabbit!
This has no name, they tend to be named after the scan!

I'm 8+3 today - i've no symptoms apart from exhaustion - the worst ive felt yet - struggled to keep my eyes open through silent witness last night. No more sore boobs and bloating has even calmed down. It makes me nervous but i vaguely remember this happening previously!

I've got my booking in appointment tomorrow - whoop.

xx

SpamAnderson · 20/01/2015 09:07

tallalime sorry about your throat! When I had it during pregnancy, I used to pinch a sip of the kids calpol! It's paracetamol so safe for us to have. I'd have a little sip before bed as it would ease the pain long enough for me to sleep comfortably :) there's a lovely natural medicine, I can't blooming remember the name now but it was honey & lemon syrup with some other bits in sachets that you could drink neat or were lovely in hot water. Otherwise I would get some lemon herbal tea and put a spoon of honey in :)

Boodlymummy · 20/01/2015 09:28

Just had GP appt. V underwhelming, just took BP and checked I'm on vitamins. I knew it'd be routine, but a friend got a pack and leaflets so I was excitedly expecting that. Oh well, wheels in motion, await midwife appt letter now. Grin

Was surprised I was asked to choose hospital to give birth in, out of 3. Sure I can change if necessary, but I found that odd in appt 1, so just alerting anyone who hasn't been yet.

TerrysNo3 · 20/01/2015 09:36

tallalime you can also have boots own brand hot lemsip stuff as it only has paracetamol in it. Hope you feel better soon!

nutelladipper · 20/01/2015 09:40

boodlymummy i think it determines where you are referred for MW and/or scans hence why they ask early. well that happens by me anyway.

Choccyhobnob · 20/01/2015 09:44

flyingspud ours is spud too! Grin 5+6 here, I have hardly any symptoms but today gave in an wore my baby on board badge that my sister gave me when I was on the train. I really didn't want to wear it this early but since the New Year train timetable changes my train has been so packed I've been standing for 50mins every morning and my DH put his foot down today and made me wear it so I get to sit in first class without anyone telling me off!
