Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 19th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 36th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

La Our FB announcement was the same - it does make you feel loved, however invalid a measure that is. We got a few 'well done' comments too, a touch weird I agree.

Re: maternity gift - some champagne would be lovely. Also those Dairy Milk clusters - perfect for feeding times. Nail polish, a pre-birth manicure is a lovely thing, unless she's having a section - then she'll have to clean it off. Lip balm is good too.

I was always a bit militant about fb announcements... when I wasn't upduffed! And then I was and we did one, cos everyone else does... and it's an easy way to blanket inform everyone. The response was lovely I always felt like people were rubbing my face in it before but in hindsight that was just silly! Anyway. Basically. I'm pro fb announcements now

Haha the ever changing fb rules between those with kids and those without!

I don't mind anything on fb which isn't wanky. Luckily I don't know too many wanky people! The things I find a bit stupid are lovey dovey messages to children/spouses which really could just be said to their faces. No need to involve a hundred odd other people. I get more annoyed by the occasional right-wing political bullshit which comes up because other people have liked it.

I'm obviously still on the wrong side of the fence for this discussion, but I'm not against fb announcements. I plan on hinting at our struggle when we do ours to soften the blow to any "me's" who may see it. however posts like "swimming with my fairy (4mo) and she is a daredevil and has no fear" annoy me sooo much. she's 4mo ffs, she hasn't learnt fear yet! oh and "she's been looking for (her brother) and daddy today" no she hasn't, she's 4mo she's just starting to notice her surroundings and see further afar!!

I have someone who posts about their puppy as if it's a baby. That's pretty annoying. In fact she's one of the right-wing likers. I should probably hide her.

I'm still taking pregnacare la but I've been told I definitely should be because of the small baby risks I've got and I have notoriously bad eating habits

DP has gone back to his home town for the night to give me some space. We will be okay and we are talking again, I'm just more annoyed that I put myself in a position to get hurt and insecure again as I said I never would (I used to have an ED and have massive body hang ups that have been getting much better). So I'm looking forward to an early night with a new DVD later!

Ha Popz, just as well I can't see your profile . I would pretty much guarantee you're not on the same level though. And half the annoyance is just because she's a bit of a twat in general.

I don't get fb rage though. One of my friends had to come off fb as she would get so pissed off with everyone bragging about stuff, holidays, boyfriends etc. I think really the problem was that she was envious though which I don't think is healthy. It doesn't particularly bother me if other people are better off than me or have more stuff. I'm happy in my squalor .

Hide her as in give her a hiding Wil? Sounds justified to me.....

Heading out for a birthday meal tonight (not mine) and totally can't be bothered. Just realised I haven't brought anything to wear either (I'm at DP's). He's giving me sideways looks now that I've announced I'm going out in jeans tonight. Don't give a shit. I feel on the verge of an all out pg rage fest for no particular reason!

BTW mozzarella waffles? OMG Lil! Might get a waffle iron for my bday.....

Pis, maybe when I'm no longer pregnant although she's bigger than me. I hope you have better weather than us, just got snowed on. Jeans are the only thing I would even consider wearing.

I also consider my skinny maternity jeans my smart clothes these days they're smarter than leggings which are my only other maternity option!

Ooh, I feel a bit more official, now I'm on the list!
saw the gp yesterday and had to pick which of 3 local hospitals I wanted to go with, and give dates and things, but still all feels rather theoretical.
Can anyone offer any advice as to when it might start to feel real???

I'm still low down on the list and I'm ok with that! Although we had a lovely time having brunch with my friends and their 3 week old boy. Gorgeous and they were so chilled out with him, it gave me hope that it is possible! So funny though - they handed him to dh who's never held such a small baby before. He looked shell shocked but then very pleased.

Facebook is so artificial, folk give a skewed version of their lives. I think it would be daft to get envious of people based on what they post.

Pis what's wrong with jeans? I would wear jeans

Mine started to feel real about 6 or 7 weeks deeply when I started making friends with the toilet and throwing anything I ate up!

Deeply it felt more real when the boobs got massive and bump started to appear but to be honest it wasn't until I had my private scan at 11 weeks and saw profile of baby properly that it felt real. Yesterday even more so with scan.

Oh and the sickness...uggg
